Mom of two 🥱. This book was AWESOME! I’m a sucker for a good romance but wow!! So right off the bat I felt how relatable Harper was. It made me feel like there’s always a upside and gave great inspiration to motivate my own life. Great read and if your a mom looking for a good spice read during the down time 😉 this is the romance for you.

Good Read. I read a lot, and a lot of romance novels are poorly written and uninteresting, so I mostly read them to fall asleep. But I really liked this one. Decent character development and likable characters. Still predictable, but sometimes predictable and fun is enjoyable—why else do we continue to watch Hallmark movies?!

It was great until.... This was one of the best romances I’ve read in quite some time, but I detest cliffhanger endings. If the author doesn’t think their book is good enough to stand alone and make me want more, then I sure don’t think it is good enough.

Hard Place. I loved this book. Although the storyline is classic modern Cinderella with a rich playboy and a poor assistant, their problems and conflicts are real, everyday situations. The characters are funny and have great banter, which is always refreshing. The cliffhanger is great, and I can’t wait to read more Emily Goodwin and the sequel.

Left me wanting more. Was a little disappointed in all of the grammar errors.

Hard place. Good story line, great details. A little upsetting that it takes them til the last few pages of the book to even have their first kiss but good read. The negatives are: All the spelling and content errors big turn off. You have to re-read some sentences to try and understand what she is saying. You need a new editor!!! Second cliffhanger warning! I had no idea that right when things actually started to finally happen in the book, bam! Ends in a cliffhanger and you need to buy the next book for the ending. There is no HEA in this book. However, it is good enough that I will purchase the next book to see how their story ends. There was enough laughter, kindhearted moments, and plot characters that kept me interested.

The ending. The book was great. It was cute and well paced to me but then the freaking end. The end was annoying and I feel like it wasn’t needed. It’s so unrealistic for her to say she still has this loving connection towards someone she 1, doesn’t know and 2, hasn’t seen in six years. I felt bad for Alex.

Cliffhanger Alert. It’s a great book.! I would recommend it for sure if it didn’t leave off on a cliffhanger. Guess I have to do better about reading reviews beforehand.

Cliffhanger. I had no idea this was part of a series so the pacing felt weird for me. Nothing physical happens between Alex and Harper until 27 pages left. Then it felt rushed until I got to the end and realized there is a 2nd book to their story.

Stuck between a rock and a Hard place. The story starts where the Hard Truth leaves off, which was a cliffhanger in itself. Hard Place really dives into another side of Harper’s chaotic life. The story has a few holes in it here and there, but overall it was a good read that I could enjoy more than once.

Hard place. Love it . It couldn’t put it down . Can’t wait for book two .

Hard Place. Hard to love series by Emily Goodwin. Story was slow to get into, got better later on and just when it might have gotten really interesting it ended. Total cliffhanger with no place to go, No preview, no nothing. Well I will never read another of your books under any name and even if they are free. Total waste of everyone's time.

Cliffhanger. Ends in a cliffhanger. Decent storyline but not enough to get me to buy the next book.

Great story. Really loved this, until the final page when the twins father appears and the story ends. I didn't know it was a series of books and that it would cost to find out what happens next. I generally stay away from 'cliff hanger' books, for that reason.
