Beautiful start to series. This is the first book I’ve read by Kay Lyons and I loved her writing. I’m looking forward to reading more of her books. Widower Dominic Dunn comes to the Carolina Cove Inn a year after his wife, Lisa’s death. She left him a letter and wanted him to visit the place that brought her happiness, after her diagnosis. Ireland Cohen, single mom to Samuel, is the manager of the Inn. Samuel misses a male role model in his life, since his dad has a new family and doesn’t have time for him anymore. Dominic fills this role while he’s there. When Dominic starts to have romantic feelings towards Ireland, he feels guilty. Will he give them a chance to see where these feelings go or will he hightail it back to Atlanta and immerse himself in more work? No spoilers, so grab your copy of this new series and meet all the Cohen sisters so you can look forward to reading each of their stories too. Great story. I enjoyed reading this story. The loss and sorrow of the main characters is healing a little bit at a time. I loved the child included in the story. Great read.

The Last Goodbye. He recently lost his wife and will to be happy. What he didn’t know that his wife had a plan and know he has to fulfill her wishes. He didn’t expect that this trip will change his life again. He could have life and happiness back. Will he use this opportunity? This is very enjoyable and engaging book.
