Epic and Amazing!. One of the very few series that I have read multiple times. Not only is it such an epic series, but the steam is real and raw.

Freaking amazing!!!. So hot and so emotional! Loved all of the characters!

My Shame. This book isn’t Shakespeare, obviously. If you’re into freaky and dark erotica and you don’t care much for plot, this book is for you. I’d say 50% of this book is sex scenes. So if that’s what you’re here for, welcome to my shame. The grammatical errors are no where near as bad as some reviews say. It’s a guilty pleasure kind of book- go into it not expecting much, and you’ll be pleasantly surprised. It’s good enough that I’ll likely finish the series. If you’re not an uptight stickler for perfection in your books, the price for this is def worth it.

Same as her last series. Did you read the Fae chronicles? Well don’t because it’s almost the same as this. The witch that’s isn’t a witch. The man being a beast that is unknown. The blood contract. The portals being down its legitimately the same book different characters. Not to mention the verbal and sexual abuse. I am all for kinky dirty talk but this is just a tad much.

Must read. I am an avid reader and have probably read nearly a thousand books in recent years. This world Amelia Hutchins has created in the Legacy of Nine Realms with a beautifully loving and strong heroine and a flawed and ruthless hero/anti-hero alpha who manhandles the heroine in extra-spice-sexy scenes is just incredible. There is smuttyness, but more than that there is a great story that digs deep into us readers and becomes a part of us.

3 stars. Story was good but the constant abuse was distasteful. The warning at the beginning is legit. First time read for me for this type of book. I was expecting fanantsy but this had so much mistreatment of women that it felt overused and just gross.

Loved it. This was fantastic! It pulled me in and I couldn’t put it down.

Poor writing. The transitions between scenes were hard to follow. The poor grammar did not help. Even the introduction in this book just gave me the ick. I still pushed on reading since it was free. Overall the story has a lot of potential, just needs better editing.

Not a fan.. I’d heard such great things about this book, but it honestly just wasn’t for me. I’m a professional editor and proofreader and reading this book was sooooo incredibly painful for me because of all the errors. I understand that mistakes happen, but they are constant through this book and I was never able to fully immerse myself in the book because of them. I like the concept, just not the finished product.

Read it!!. It’s honestly and amazing series with a completely delightfully infuriating love match that hate to love each other and I couldn’t put it down.

So weird. Kinda cringy. I finished the book but not fast enough. The story would’ve been great but way too much bashing and degrading on women. It was super extra and not in a good way. I might read to next one cuz im waiting on a book to be released in about 10 days but idk yet. Im interested to know what happens but at the same time I’d like to skip the cringyness. Almost beastiality-like porn, really weird…

Spicy to a fault =(. I was excited to read this book because it had recently become a popular recommendation and I love a good spicy book but I was so throughly disappointed in this. FOR SURE it has the spice! But really at the detriment of the story. It’s like pages and pages of (vividly graphic) sex scenes but when it comes to the plot or character development it’s only a page here and there tucked in between the sex scenes. And it has the makings for a really interesting story! Which absolutely killed me because it was just a small part of the book. The other thing (which is absolutely personal preference) is that it was just a little too crude for me, sometimes the best part of a spicy book is the tension and what’s not being said or done but this book goes into every single very graphic and crude description to the point where it becomes kind of gross and no longer holds my interest. Totally just my personal opinion, if you want a super spicy book with a lack of attention to plot and you’re ok with disturbingly graphic sex (that sometimes hinges on rape) then absolutely you will enjoy this book. Sadly It just wasn’t for me.

Don't know how to feel. I'm torn on this one. I love the story and I'm drawn in by the raw intensity... but, then on the other side I'm overstimulated with the raw intensity. Definitely have lots of questions I want answers to and definitely like the story line. The author puts a disclaimer at the beginning of the story, so if you think you can handle what the authors throws out there, it's definitely worth a read.

Absolutely love. This series will keep you wanting more like an addiction. You connect, grow and fall in love with the characters so well. 10/10 recommend

A favorite. This is my favorite series of all time, although I do love all of Amelia’s books ♥️

Hooked!. Read this very quickly and was immediately pulled in. Things move fast and the characters keep you flipping pages! Some of the dialogue is repetitive but I only see that as a minor flaw. May or may not have binged the next 3 books because I couldn’t quit!

😈❤️‍🔥🌶. Wow! I’ve never had so many emotions ever, reading a book. This series had me getting angry, be swooning, crying and laughing! And these emotions happened, within ONE chapter. 😂 I love Amelia and hope this series goes on for a long time!

Great idea but lacking. I tried to keep reading because I’m actually interested in the world, but the author needs to cut 2/3 of the descriptions and show the world instead of telling. So pedantic and not great writing. Also, way too much rough sex. Couldn’t get through it.

Good but not. I liked the story line and the mystery behind the characters. It definitely held my attention and was hot and steamy. However… you can definitely tell this is self published, and conformationally lacking. The cadence between characters is off. These story’s could use an experienced editor. It would elevate these from good to great.

No. Just no.. This book was, without a shadow of a doubt, THE worst book I have ever read. The writing is horrible, just sloppy and repetitive slush that leads nowhere. The constant grammar mistakes are jarring, and the fact that the characters can’t get through a single interaction without rambling off a ridiculous monologue made this a painful read. How some people actually gave this book more than one star is bewildering. Honestly, it doesn’t even deserve one star at all. The warning from the author at the beginning was a huge red flag that I sadly ignored. Don’t bother with this one unless you really hate yourself.

Not worth it. The plot was not very well thought out and repetitive. I found myself very bored despite the ample amount of smut.

Genius!. This book is a work of art. You’ll immediately beg for the next installment as soon as you’re finished. Knox and Aria are a force to be reckoned with. Amelia Hutchins is a goddess in her own right! Her writing is unmatched when it comes to paranormal romance. She keeps you guessing every chapter! 🖤

Amazing book. Some of the story was a bit cringy in the beginning, however it grew on me and I fell in love with the different creatures and adventures within it. I also love that Aria and Knox aren’t the typical boring romance😉

Disturbing, Misogynistic and Violent. This book was terrible. Period. It was a nonstop mix of every slur against women you can think of, horrible sexual violence towards women (and NOT in a hot BDSM way), and disgusting sexual descriptions. Now, I am in no way a prude when it comes to romance and paranormal romance, even tending towards books with super spicy ‘romance’ scenes. But this was something completely different. It was violent, brutal, often gross and disturbing assault disguised as consensual sexual encounters. There is constant talk and descriptions of rape, and the slurs against women are endlessly prolific. And, to top it off, the writing was pretty awful too. Definitely don’t read if you’re not interested in disgusting accounts of rape fantasy and violence.

AMAZING. I’m not sure why someone would say this book is the worst they’ve ever read. This book is amazing. Amelia you have outdone yourself once again. Nothing was what I expected it to be and I love the multiple plot twist that happens.

Omg. Was not sure about the book at the beginning but then I started reading. I love the way Aria develops. All she has to go through. She is exceptional. The end is just the beginning. Loved it!

If I could give it 1/2 a star I would. I fell into the trap of the rave reviews before buying the book. I can not believe how bad this book is, it was like watching a car crash and I just kept reading hoping to get more of a story line. Plot twist there is no story line just every two sentences a new and raunchy descriptive way to describe the female anatomy. And there is more then one book in this series! How did this monstrosity of a book even get published, have rave reviews and get a series out of it? I gave it half a star for trying to get to somewhat of a plot…maybe?

Ammmmmazing. Amelia is such an amazing writer but this series has to be my very favourite!!! So hot and so amazing!

Great plot very spicy. Love the story and characters but the author tends to be very repetitive with her adjectives and it lacks a refined adult content vocabulary.

Good story, but poorly written. Saw this book recommended by two separate people on TikTok, and I’ve got to wonder, did they ever actually read it? I think the story and characters show definite promise: I like the spunk of the female protagonist and the moral greyness of the male lead. I enjoyed them so much that I might have been tempted to continue reading the series, had it not been for the fact that this entire book reads like a first draft. There are major issues with continuity in the plot where you think one thing is happening, only to get thrown by the very next paragraph. Consequently, you never really “enter” the story or world because you’re constantly having to re-read sections to understand what’s happened. Plus, the dialogue is just lacking, particularly the inner dialogue. The heroine never really explains why she does things, and if an explanation is given, it’s given so poorly that it doesn’t really have any weight. For instance, she’s a sexual rarity compared to her sisters, but she’ll sleep with someone she doesn’t know or like because they don’t repulse her? Honestly, these sorts of things should have been caught in a re-read. I hope since the author self-published (respect on that) and is therefore making a larger profit, that she’ll invest in hiring an editor moving forward.

The best ever.... No matter how many books I read that are written by Amelia Hutchins I never tire of her stories and characters. This book is no exception. This book is a sit on the edge of your seat never want the story to end compilation of characters who draw you into their lives as if you are part of them. Another example that proves that Amelia’s books just keep getting better and better. Can’t wait for book 2 in this series. And, if you haven’t read her other books please do because they should not go unread if you are a fan of this book.

Freaking amazing. Fantastic start to what promises to be an amazing series. This was a riveting read. Knox is the anti hero that you love to hate and Aria is a powerful feisty heroine. Magic, drama, humour, steam this has it all, with a great supporting cast of characters as well. Loved loved loved this book and can’t wait for then next in the series.

Amazing new series!. Dark new series from Amelia that will keep you intrigued! If your into dark, possessive alpha holes, you will definitely love Knox. He’s out for revenge against the descendants of witches that killed his family and he is brutal to a fault. In comes Aria, sister and a part of one set of twins descended from Hecate herself. A direct line, royalty even. Smart, sweet and she has a part of her that is an unknown, she is also an alpha hole when that unknown part comes out to play. Their battles are chaos. She gives as good as she get with some humor thrown in with the steamy scenes that were written. Amelia did a great job starting this new world and sucking us all into it with her!

I could not put this book down it was one of those books that you really sink into from beginning to end!! The characters were absolutely amazing!! I am in love with Aria and Knox!! I cannot not wait for the next one!! I laughed, I cried, I got angry, I got tears in my eyes!! I learned to start drinking pineapple juice lol!! If you haven’t read this book!! You need to read it !! I fell in love with another author and yes I just purchased all her books!! You are a queen Amelia Hutchins!! I’m a fan for life!! I’m part of this crazy tribe!! Amelia Does it AGAIN!!. Amelia has an amazing way of sucking you into the worlds that she creates. I’m a HUGE fan of her series The Fae Chronicles, and her Monsters series as well. I love Aria’s fire! And, I definitely have a love hate relationship with Knox. I’ll be waiting on pins and needles for the next book to come out.

Exceptional Story. This story is captivating on so many aspects. The world building is amazing. The storyline is amazing. The characters are amazing. And not just the main characters but the secondary ones, as well. You can tell Hutchins is building them up, laying the ground work for each of us to fall for her characters. She makes them come alive off the pages. The romance is chaotic and brutal. You can already tell their story is just the beginning, and it’s going to be crazy one. Aria is strong and fierce and inspiring; she’s an amazing female lead character. Knox is...*sigh*. You hate him but you’re also falling for him. You can’t help but to go back and forth with your feelings for him. Hutchin’s talent is more than amazing. You won’t regret starting this series. 5+star rating.

Flames of chaos. Really good book! Main characters are interesting. Knox’s and Aria’s characters aren’t the only interesting characters in the story. I liked all the characters. The story is really set up well. Ending leaves you wanting more.
