Great read for busy people!. This is a great book to read if you’re busy with life and need to “unplug” before bed. It’s an easy read, but the story is still captivating with a few unexpected twists. Plus the chapters are a nice length to read in under 30 minutes. I’m not a fan of books that don’t get me hooked quickly, and this one definitely did!

Extremely boring and not a believable love story.. This was a rough one to get through. I gave it two stars because the ending wrapped up nicely but I truly did not enjoy this book. Which is out of the ordinary for me with Nicholas Sparks. I almost DNF in the middle. The two main character’s love story was not believable in any way. They fell for each other very quickly - after one or two meetings. Then how much the main character, Trevor, fell apart after they split was over the top. Who does that after knowing someone for such a short time?? Callie’s story was more interesting than Trevor’s. A bit shocking to me, didn’t see it coming, but definitely a better storyline.

The Return!. I enjoyed this book, it was just what the doctor ordered after reading a compelling biography documenting the 45th president in his final year in office. This book was a bit sophomoric and I always knew what was going to happen on the next page but it diverted my attention long enough. Thanks for that, Nicholas Sparks.

Much like his other books. I enjoyed the book, but it was easy to predict what would happen in the story.

Hard to get into. I kept reading this book as I’ve always been a fan of the author. It was, however, tough going and not really worth it in the end. This was certainly nowhere near the level of his previous works.
A fine read but I wish I wouldn’t have purchased. I’ve read just about every Nicholas Sparks novel over the years, and it bums me to say that I feel the quality of them is declining with each one. This story was short and sweet, but didn’t really need to be written.
Great Read. This is a wonderful human interest story coupled with a romance that isn’t trashy as so many are. Sparks has left the ending to the reader’s imagination.

So boring, great book to put you to sleep. I had high hopes for a Nicholas Sparks book, but this was as dull, slow, and uninteresting as any book I’d every read. I thought he was a romance guru, but this one lacks any momentum and excitement. The plot is very slow to work out, it takes forever for anything to build. Don’t waste your time, seriously.

Great Read. I absolutely love Nicholas Sparks. His books are romantic but also have another meaning to them. This is a great read, and the way he built the characters was great. He did a wonderful job at walking you through the characters lives and all the things they need to work on and grow to learn. Wonderful story about love and forgiveness. Definitely recommend

Love and a Mystery. A lovely story about love, loneliness, with a little mystery thrown in to make it exciting. I didn’t read the first two books, but I sure am glad to have read the third. Stick around to the end, it’s also a mystery.

Great Book. I love how this book took me to each person’s situation. I could empathize and see a little of me in all the characters. I spent some time contemplating how I’d react in these situations. The book describes my PTSD symptoms. I know that it is a fictional character but it felt good to know someone felt the same way I do. This book is a reread and that’s the highest praise I think a book can get!

Not up to par. This was not anywhere near what I expect from Nicholas Sparks! Not anywhere near the same level as The Notebook or Every Breath, if I didn’t know, I wouldn’t think it was the same author. Very disappointing, if you’re only going to write one book a year, make it a good one. Not enough romance, a strange story line and Sparks seemed to lose his way as he tried to weave the mystery and wasn’t able to pull me in like he has in the past. Sad
