A rich tapestry of wit, grit, and humor…

Twenty-four-year old Phoebe Hawley is on a quest to find her family a home. On the road with two siblings, twelve-year-old Maydean and five-year-old Willie-Boy, Phoebe is out of money, out of gas and out of patience. The only things she owns in abundance are backbone and pride—neither of which she can trade for food or gas.

A collision with Gage Morgan puts Phoebe’s mission in even worse jeopardy—until Phoebe discovers Gage owns the perfect place for her clan. However, she soon discovers that Gage is the unlikeliest man in the universe to offer a helping hand.

Phoebe wields all the country smarts she owns to worm her way into Gage’s heart, but nothing works. With time running against her family, she plies one last inducement—her scarce feminine wiles.

Finding Home. I had a rough start reading this book but now I’m glad I finished it. Also, I’m glad you write clean romance. This is one I won’t forget soon. It was actually cute! JK

Chelan read

Finding Home. This is the second book I have read by this author and I absolutely loved it ! This story had everything, especially humor. I so admired Phoebe’s loyalty to family, and her “do what you have to do” attitude. What a match she and Gage made. No foul language or explicit sex scenes, but I promise you won’t be disappointed. Going back for more books by this author.

Relate to the Author. I am so impressed with this book. It was funny cute and educational. I am also amazed with the author a lot a lot about her story at the very end of the book.. Let’s just say without saying too much she and I have something in common. With being a disabled person. I recommend this book 📖

Finding Home. You just have to love this story of family, love, and life!

Couldn’t make it through the entire book...UGH!. The characters were awful. The language went to a stereotype level of low IQ illiterate southern white trash. Maydean was a spoiled, selfish brat. Phoebe only cared about getting Gage for his house, land and money. Phoebe was constantly threatening her sister and brother. Gage was rude, dirty and uncaring. True, I did not read to the very end, but I just didn’t want to waste my time with those awful characters.

Wonderful Read 5stars!!!. First of all I loved the language of this book! The down home style of easyspeak rose and fell like music playing to my spirit as I read this delightful book. The natural way of family looking after family members reminded me of a way of life we are losing in society today. The characters are so believable I can easily picture them and relate to them. I felt the emotions of the written word and at times I could even smell the salt laden air of the salty marsh.

Slow start but wort the wait. The books starts slow with need to get into the lyrical rhythm of the rural southern use of language. II struggled with Phoebe - focus on family and willingness to shelter and provide at all cost. Gage appears as a physically large over burden man with the need to find a connection and be loved. Interesting struggles to be better than your past and still retain the legacy of family. The reader will grow to love the characters the simplicity of accepting and honoring a good days work and respecting old fashion values. This author is new to me and look forward to reading other books.

Finding Home. This was one of the best books I’ve ever read. It’s simplicity of life, love and its story is great making me wish I could live my life over again. I can’t wait to review and read all your other books.

Dahkar

Finding Home. The order of physical intimacy. Get married 1st. Then have sex.

Pins4

Finding Home. Different approach to life and happiness. Great read. I recommend it. Great ending.

Lynn Koukls

Finding Home. Fun,witty read. Didn’t want it to end!

Silver squriel

“She said” “He said”. Interesting tale with a twist! She backs out of a parking space and hits the truck behind her. He needs help at his inn so she works off her bill that way. Then sparks start to fly!

AKgirlinlasVegas

Loved It. Loved this book. Took me back to my teenage years when I’d curl up with a soft cover Harlequin Romance! Such a great writer, looking forward to reading more of her work.

A fantastic ❤️ story. I highly recommend this story. I found phoebe and gage such a great couple. I found the descriptive text and plot excellent. I enjoyed reading the American south way of talking and found I could imagine all the scenes.

Hana12300

I laughed out loud. Inspiring and joyful, I could not stop reading this book. The characters are so original I want to know more about them.

Miss Indigo 1

Unexpectedly good!. Fantastic. Highly recommend.

Readeeergirl

Couldn’t continue. Dislike the style of writing -character names, the dialogue between characters, the setting. Finding it hard to understand what is happening. Only made it through 4 chapters then couldn’t go any further.

Nakiesha

Meh. Honestly... I don’t know why I finished this book. Felt like it should have been set 200 years ago before the civil war. I couldn’t relate to the mentality of the characters and their choices. Wasn’t worth the effort;

Finding Home. A truly enjoyable book. Well developed very real characters who I’d love to meet and live amongst, for their honesty, their integrity and down to earth lifestyle. I loved not reading about a silly heroine who apparently has loads of time to do nothing all day, but miraculously has a career that pays her loads. I loved reading about a hero who doesn’t ......, Well, no more spoilers, you’ll have to read this wonderful book yourself. I’m settling down to read another book by this amazing author, whose own story is as inspiring as it gets.

Bunbury Champ

Country feeling. I just loved the book, having the feeling of being there with them. I couldn’t put it down. Had a nice relaxing day reading.

PopsTheSpark

Finding Home. A really great feel good story with a superbly spirited warm hearted heroine at its centre.

Garthmarenghi

A must read. I absolutely loved this story. I found the descriptive text and plot excellent. I enjoyed reading the American Southern way of talking and found I could imagine all scenes. I thoroughly recommend this book.

Leahb6

Lovely book. Such a good story with a refreshing plot and fun, lively, interesting characters. I started this book thinking it was set around 40s, 50s due to the characters circumstances and the imagery and language used. However, as the story progressed I noticed there was mention of modern technology such as a computer and the female characters clothes where more modern. I stuck with thinking the book was set later as that was the imagery I had in my head. Loved the chemistry between the couple, would of loved more insight into Gage through the use of his pov. Gave it four stars as I felt it was a little rushed towards the end, although really enjoyed reading. Thank you.
