Fantribe: Plantwings Abilities: They have venom in their claws like thorns and injectable paralyzing venom in their fangs, they have hooked claws so they can climb trees, they have long elegant leaf shaped wings and they have two short antennae that can detect vibrations so even if their eyes are closed they will know if there are dragons near them or not because they sense their vibrations. They have a deep connection with plants and can actually communicate with them using an ability called leafspeak, they are very good gardeners. They can absorb energy from the sun like rainwings. Theres an extremely rare ability that allows Plantwings to control plants (example they can order a vine to grow out of the ground and strangle their enemies) but its very rare and no Plantwing with that ability has been seen in generations also only Plantwings in the royal family get the ability. They are suited to living in a very dangerous jungle. They are slim but muscular like a hivewing. They are swift agile dragons that can dodge attacks easily. If a Plantwing breaks a rule they get executed, even the tiniest most minor rule gets broken they will be executed. And I am not talking about a normal execution im talking Daganropa level execution and every Plantwing in the kingdom is forced to come and view it to remind everyone to follow the rules or you’re DEAD. Other than that they are a pretty friendly tribe. In my au the weak Leafwings were replaced by the strong Plantwings and in the war between Plantwings and Hivewings the plantwings won! So the Plantwings rule over both silkwings and hivewings. Plantwings are first class Silkwings are middle class and Hivewings are at the very bottom. Appearance: They have the same color variation as leafwings Naming: Named after plants Weaknesses: They have delicate wings that tear easily sometimes they get ripped off entirely but luckily the wings grow back quickly, they have a poor sense of smell but very good sight and hearing, they are very weak to fire Royalty: Queen Vine and King Bush, Princess Branch, Prince Tree

WOW!WOW!WOW!. Omg, this was so good. But….. SPOILERS. So if you haven’t read the book, don’t read this review. First of all, I LOVE how Wren can talk. I’ve always dreamed about this happening, but I never thought it actually would!! It’s very exciting that humans and actually gonna BE in this series- yes, humans, not scavengers. 😂 Second, Jerboa’s chapters were so interesting!! I was freaking out thinking that the original Jerboa was the one present in these books, but those two chapters really made you understand Boa and why she doesn’t use her magic. Also, the Darkstalker thing, like, when Turtle saw that “SandWing that disappeared!” Connection!! Third, Snowfall is freaking epic. She’s hilarious. Fourth, (omg 😅) #SKYFALL4LIFE. Lynx and Snowfall’s dialogues are absolutely hilarious, and I live for Mink. Also, Tui has confirmed plans for an arc 4! Okay I do have one problem. The plot sorta revolves around the vision ring, and Snowfall’s visions were the only thing that furthered the plot. So like… here’s a (mostly) complete guide because y’all look like y’all want it. Straight - MLW/WLM, viewed as the most common. Not exactly a part of the LGBT community, but they can be allies. Gay/lesbian - MLM/WLW Bisexual - Attraction to both genders Pansexual - Personality with slight gender preferences Omnisexual - Personality with no gender preferences Demisexual - attraction forms over extended periods of time Asexual - no attraction Aromantic - no romantic attraction Aro/Ace people can still experience love, just platonically. That’s the biggest misconception. Polysexual - attraction towards multiple people Abrosexual - Fluctuating attractions (ay it’s me) Trans - change of gender Non-binary - neither gender Bi-gender - both genders Neopronouns - I dunno how to explain them, but stuff like xe/xem Gender-fluid - gender fluctuates Intersex - born without a gender

Awesome book! Few problems though. This book was awesome! Also spoilers!! Jerboa and Boa’s story was so sad! I wonder what would’ve happen if Boa casted a spell to fix her mother’s soul… Anyways, the people are shipping Snowfall and Sky, but I think it’s just because Sky reminds Snowfall of Minx and Snowfall was away from her for a couple of days. But in those couple of days Snowfall realized she really loved her sister. Also, there is a much bigger ship! At the end of the book! I’m not going to say anything more! Also also, I vote for Snowfall and Lynx.

He had survived queen wasp! He escaped from the leaf wings when he was younger! He couldn’t die at his daughters talons! He couldn’t. “Daddy!” Rose called. “I’m sacred. I don’t wanna die!” Ghost cried. “I don’t either. I don’t wanna die.”

Great book. This is Coming from a ten year old who thinks it was a very good book with vey good detail.

Um.. Um. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been a huge WoF fan for nearly five years now and I LOVE the originality of the series (I’m a young writer so I look at stories from a more technical side as well), but this book was different. This is the first book I haven’t gotten digitally or from a library, but I was a tiny bit disappointed, ngl. I love seeing the growth of Snowfall’s character throughout the book, because let’s be honest, we were all mad at her in the beginning. It was just a downer that it was delayed for so long, but it was short and was more of a backstory book. I feel like this would’ve been better as a LEGEND rather than the actual series, but that’s just me. What I would have LOVED to see is a book from Sky’s PoV! I’m so excited about the threat to humankind now, too! That epilogue was 😙🤌. Anyways, sorry I ranted for a while, I just reread the tenth book and remembered about the fifteenth and decided to look at the overview. It’s good but…. I really enjoy all the WoF books but this one… well first things first, this book took waaaaaaay too long to be made, and got delayed for so long, and then when we finally got a new book, it’s just Dragonslayer. Don’t get me wrong, Dragonslayer was great and kept me entertained for a while (because its the longest book in WoF, with I think it’s like 500+ pages?) but like I was really hoping to read an actual book in the main series. So after years of waiting, we get a short anticlimactic explanatory book (in English that means: not very much action and just explaining stuff book). And then the whole book just goes: “oh yay everyone meets each other, let’s go do something exciting in the NEXT book”, but after waiting for so long, it would have been almost impossible for this book to live up to my expectations, and the book wasn’t terrible either. Also I really liked that they brought my fav ship back (btw it’s RiptNami) Anyway that’s what I think of the book. Good book. I liked everything. Also skyfall and lynxfall are terrible ships in my opinion. If you like either, I will find you and hit you with the biggest book in proximity. Part 36. Snapper was taking another team of Reaperwings with Riot to scout the forest. ‘Stupid patrol. I want to do something.’ She thought. It was just her, Riot, Venom, and a few others suddenly her antenna flew upwards. She turned her head and she could see many of the last dragons were fleeing. Which means that her fellow Reaperwings weren’t far behind. She heard the roar of the I-rexwing and Snapper instinctively climbed to the trees. And she could see more Reaperwings chasing them. ‘Yes! A chase! And I can’t wait to ambush them.’ She waited for a moment. Venom and the other five Reaperwings the were going to cut them off and Snapper and Riot were going to attack from above. They slowed down a little but she could tell that they could fight them off. But their job was to simply slow them down. ‘One more step… NOW!’ She and Riot jumped onto several dragons. She jumped onto Deathflame. ‘See Riot! I’ll show him I’m not weak when I take this one out.’ She dug her sharp teeth into his shoulder and dug her claws into his back. He roared with fury and whipped around and grabbed her. But she refused to let go. “We need to fly! It’s the only way!” A dragon shouted. Everyone lifted into the air flying away. And so did Deathflame. “Snapper! Let go!” Riot called. But she didn’t want to. She was never going to let go. “Get off me.” He hissed when he was in the air. But she clung on tighter. Another dragon tried lifting her off him but he yelped as she dug in her claws. “That things got a death grip.” She stated. “And nasty claws are teeth.” He grumbled. Snapper retracted her teeth but kept her claws in. “Excuse me! I keep my claws and teeth cleaned! They are not nasty! But you scales are! Yuck! But I still won’t let go till you die! That’ll show Riot I’m not a baby or weak!” She hissed and bit into his neck. “Ow! Hay! Easy with those teeth. For a small thing you’re teeth are sharp.” Snapper smiled. “Why thank you.” She said. “Maybe if I…” the other dragon said. She felt two talons pressing against the corners of her mouth. She was forced to let go immediately. “Hay! Rude!” Snapper growled. “Well we have a prisoner. Maybe she’ll tell us some stuff.” Deathflame said rubbing his shoulder wound. Snapper let go immediately. “I’m nobodies prisoner!” She shouted. But she was grabbed by several dragons. They landed on top of a hill overlooking the forest. “So the I-Rexwing is your new alpha?” A dragon snapped. “For this planet.” She answered. “Who is in charge?” Deathflame asked. “Our queen! She lives on a desolate planet somewhere and she gives the orders. But she is guarded by the largest Reaperwing army. And you can’t set a single talon on the ground of that planet without stepping on a Reaperwing. She is the biggest of us. She is even bigger then the I-rexwing. And has more weapons and is extremely strong. If you can even get close to the planet.” The dragons glanced at each other. “What if one of us kills the alpha?” Deathflame asked. “Then you are in charge. Although…if you’re a bad leader. We will eat you. We need to feast of of you large creatures. Dragons, Rhinos, elephants, space octopuses, gelps, Aliens, you name it!” She answered with a yawn. “What do you want with us?” A dragon asked. “To eat you! Duh! We are hungry! You can run from us but you can’t hide. And we will cover the entire galaxy eventually. All of you will be dead sooner or later. You are no match for us! You will all die.” She smiled feeling proud of making this moment feel very terrifying. “Let me at her! She served her purpose!” A dragon snapped jumping at her. “No don’t!” Deathflame shouted. But it was too late. The dragon dug his claws into her sides. “Run!” He shouted. Suddenly almost as immediately as he dug his claws in he jerked back. He started a high pitch screech along with five other dragons that couldn’t get back in time. “We cannot leave them!” A yellow dragon shouted. “Do you want to die?” A dark blue one snapped dragging her away. As all five dragons exploded. And many young Reaperwings took their place. She turned to a small purple one. “Follow them.” She whispered. He nodded and bolted away after them. “The rest of you follow me.” She orders. She enjoyed being in charge. Yeah I am a Star wars fan. And a Jurassic park/ World fan. Ruby is coming with her but will not go exploring with Pyrite and will instead work on freeing the others. Suddenly she feels a warm breeze and smiles “Ruby do you feel that breeze? It feels like freedom.” “No it feels warm.” Ruby replies. Pyrite rolls her eyes. Sometimes Ruby can be a pain in the tail. After they say their goodbyes Ruby heads off to start digging a escape path for the other dragons.Pyrite decides to head on south. My opinion and a few questions. Tui, great book and outstanding addition to the Wings of Fire series. Love the cliffhanger and the addition of Sky and Wren to the main series. Also cold there be a sequel to Dragonslayer, Please? Also, would be really cool to have Sunny and Ivy see each other again in a future book. -One of your very loyal fans, Storm the Stormwing Questions: 1. Will book 15 be the last book in the series? 2. Will there be graphic novels for all the books? 3. Will there be a sequel to Dragonslayer? (Very sorry for being repetitive) 4. Will there be a book giving a glimpse into the future? It would be cool to see what happens with dragon-human relations, and if characters have been shipped will actually become mates. (A possible addition to the Legends series?)

The main character choice was amazing and how Snowfall drastically changes from a ferocious irritated grumpy queen to a calm, knowing-what-to-do, less-panicked, less I HATE YOU EVERYONE IS EVIL (still ferocious) queen is amazing . This time the cliffhanger doesn’t claw your brain for the next book (unlike book 13) but makes a serene, awesome, SNOWFALL IS EPIC, ending-but you still want to find out what happens next. Definitely one of THE most amazing books in Wings of Fire. I also like how this time we have the main character as a queen. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Waiting in here for book 15!

Interesting book. I am a big fan of wings of fire and I waited so long to read this. There are some really moving parts especially when glacier died and snowfall was upset the other point of views were cool and fun to read 👍👍👍 Great book, ties together plot holes. Underrated. I thought this would be a good book judging that it was from the point of view of a queen that has been an antagonist previously and that there had been a character like that called Peril whose book actually turned out very good. But I hadn’t expected it to be this good!! I love the twist at the end and how everything fit so perfectly and I feel like this book actually taught me a lesson unlike quite a few of the Wings of Fire books!

A superb entry in the series.. The Dangerous Gift exceeded all my expectations. Going into it, I was expecting a fairly average WoF book, since I didn’t know much about Snowfall and wasn’t sure if I would like a book from her POV. In short, upon finishing the book, Snowfall is now in my top 5 favorite characters in all of Wings of Fire. In fact, I was all ready to give the book 3rd place in my WoF book ranking list, but then the last 40% or so messed things up a little. The plot started to become a bit ridiculous, and I didn’t entirely agree with some of the (arguably radical) messages in the last few chapters. However, I didn’t let these things ruin it for me, and the book’s pros far outweigh its cons. As such, I ended up giving it 5th place in my ranking list. My exact rating would be 4.6 stars.

Totally recomend. I love all of Tui T. Sutherland’s books! They give you all of the information you need and more. Especially in this one, she gives us an exiting plot,with tons of different characters and expressions and scenery.

Tbh. And I’m just saying here.. but I think if after this is a pause of books there better be next generation and they fail in the peices of their parents(and we can see who actually became a couple)LONG LiVE winter Watcher

DiamondWings Color: magenta to light magenta Kingdom: Deep diamond mines underground in both Pyrrhia and Pantala, which is why they are unknown. Queen: Queen Moonstone Skills/abilities: Withstand high underground pressure and better heat resistance. Long, sharp claws to cut gems and sculpt them (duh, their name.) exhale moondust that blinds enemies (not forever, its like mist. Its also very tiny particles of diamond)

WhAaaaat?!. This book is amazing. Just got it today and finished it in a solid two hours, Wren and Sky are back! Snowfalls perspective is so similar to Perils except less insane, but amazing nonetheless! NEVER LET THIS DIE! at my school it won best series of 2021!!!!!

Absolutely wonderful.. IDONT READ THIS IF YOU HATE SPOILERS! I am a complete bookworm, I got the book last night and I’m on the epilogue. Just a work of art to read, and I can’t wait for the next book! Bravo! Snowfall’s POV is amazing, especially with the gift of Vision. Opal must have been a great dragon. Snowfall was stressed and grouchy, but she is now a compassionate queen. I now have 14 books to use to re read the series. For the 15th time, possibly more. Call me crazy obsessed with books if you want ;)

Thinking ahead Maybe first Sky and Wren can help Daffodil and Ivy find Sunny then, at Jade mountain Sky meats Peril. Also I get the idea about Ocs but what does it mean? Also(again) umacat I watched both Raya and the Last Dragon and Wolfwalkers! In my opinion, Wolfwalkers is better cuz the type of animation and dialogue in RatLD(Raya and the Last Dragon)is not really my thing.

It’s going to be a long wait for the next book.. Some of the best writing from this series but not the best plot. Keep writing Tui, you’re doing a great job. When the next book comes out I’m going to immediately whip out my phone, buy it, and probably read it in the first hour or two. These books are too good. AAAAAAAGH (major spoilers). SO GOOD!!! Snowfall’s point of view is so interesting. Tbh, she reminds me of myself a little, expect MUCH angrier. The whole plot just makes me go: AAAAAAAAAAAGH! And there’s Wren! And Sky, and Daffodil, and all the Pantala dragons, obviously. There were some plot choices I might not have made, (hem hem, no more animus magic EVER, hem hem)but I think it’s ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!!!! Tui T. Sutherland, judging by what you did with animus magic, it kind of looks like you’re wrapping up the series. I say: PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DON’T. This series needs to live forever. Make it like warriors, but with less corny humor. WE NEED WINGS OF FIRE TO LAST FOREVER. Edit: Raya and the Last Dragon is better, on my opinion.🐉🐉🐉 ANOTHER edit: So, I reread the words, and Jerboa only said the CURRENT animuses wouldn’t be able to cast anything else. An Amazing Addition to an Already Amazing Series. Excellent character evolution. I enjoyed this immensely. Truly a novel regarding the potential for goodness within the hearts of all souls, dragons and scavengers alike. 😌

For those of you wondering... ⚠️SPOILERS AHEAD⚠️. Here’s how the first part of Jerboa III’s last spell was worded: “I hereby enchant this candleholder. When I shatter it, I shatter the power of all CURRENT animus dragons.” This most likely means that, while current animus dragons, like Turtle and Anemone, can’t use animus magic for the rest of their lives, a future animus probably can. Also, this book was amazing. Please don’t end the series. 🥺🤞🙏 Edit: Opal was a GENIUS.

Awesome book! Few problems though. This book was awesome! Also spoilers!! Jerboa and Boa’s story was so sad! I wonder what would’ve happen if Boa casted a spell to fix her mother’s soul… Anyways, the people are shipping Snowfall and Sky, but I think it’s just because Sky reminds Snowfall of Minx and Snowfall was away from her for a couple of days. But in those couple of days Snowfall realized she really loved her sister. Also, there is a much bigger ship! At the end of the book! I’m not going to say anything more! Also also, I vote for Snowfall and Lynx.

🐉 vs 🐺. I’d say wolfwalkers, but it’s a very close call! Such an entertaining storyline and very nice animations. Obviously not as good as RALTD. But it felt nice to see a different theme of colors and background!

Just Finished and It’s SO GOOD. Ms. Sutherland delivers smashingly again. This time it is from the main point of view from Queen Snowfall of the IceWings. Her development as the newly crowned queen is perfectly written.

Love it but one issue. Love the whole book but whyyyy turtle or anemone could have just said “all breath of evil and infected dragons will be normal and queen wasp will not want to take over all the tribes” lol
