Enjoyed reading this story. The plot was great and kept the reader interested. I’m looking forward to reading the next book.

Great story featuring strong, smart and fierce warrior women! I will definitely be reading more books by Glynnis.

This is a great Highlands/Lowlands historical romance with the English thrown in for some added intrigue! This is a page turner so prepare to settle in because once you start this book you won’t want to put it down! Wonderful descriptive writing makes you feel like you’re in Scotland with the Warrior Maids of Rivenloch and the mac Giric clan. Love grows from hate and the passion is hot! In my opinion, if you like historical romance with action and passion you can feel, I don’t think you could go wrong with reading this book!

This book had me laughing and crying. I love the emotional books. The writing is so well done. I can’t wait for the next book. Also loved their mother’s stories.

Bride of Fire By Glynnis Campbell ARC in exchange for honest review This was an entertaining read. I truly enjoyed the storyline and the characters. Jenefer was a strong female heroine that you could look up to. She didn’t need her man to save her. I love stories when the woman can be a strong role model and yet she can still be a woman. This story was entertaining and fun. The characters were engaging and the storyline was so entertaining I read literally in two sittings. Worth the read!! Can’t wait for the next two in the series!

I read… a LOT! Probably 2 to 3 books a week. Mostly historical romances with some contemporary suspense thrown in. I repeatedly see the same familiar and tired devices—2nd chances, arranged marriage turns to love, etc. I have to say, "Bride of Fire" was refreshingly different in its plot. Of course it has the requisite HEA, the (for Ms. Campbell) requisite strong female protagonist, and the drool worthy hero, but the twists and turns in the story truly surprised and excited me. I have read Ms. Campbell’s books for a while and her new releases immediately make to my “must read” list. She is also one of the few authors whose books I will reread. I strongly recommend this book, as I believe it is in the rare category of well written, believable, funny and heartwarming romance novels. I received a free review copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
