Hunger Games Redux. If you loved the Hunger Games, you will probably like this just fine.

Not sure the title matches the story line. I fell in love with the characters almost immediately. I had to buy the second one immediately.

Unoriginal. Breezed through this book! Quite an easy (and short) read. However…. I just could not shake the feeling of having already read this exact story. This book had so many similarities to Wither by Lauren DeStefano and The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. From similar names, to similar supporting characters, similar storyline, etc. I unfortunately read the reviews of the next few books that spoiled a major part of the series, so I might not continue reading.

Could not put this down.. What an interesting journey this story will take you on.

Surprisingly good. I am an avid reader and I’ve been a bit disappointed with some of the reading material lately. However, this book and the second book did not disappoint. I like the idea of the storyline and it was well written. I wish each book was longer but it definitely leaves you wanting to finish the story. I am looking forward to book 3 and 4! I could also see this book series as a movie one day. I would definitely go see it!

Worst twist ever !!!. This book has the worst twist.... at first I thought the ending was fake but when u move on to book four u realize the ending really happened the prince dies !!!! Booo !!!

Eh it was alright. I liked the storyline, but it definitely needed some more fleshing out. Also I feel like the main character, we didn’t really get to know, she was just a really pretty face...like what else. I know she survived her tow but there was no spark for survival besides keeping her head down and then randomly punching a guard? This has potential but definitely needs to be edited more.

Captivating. I read it from start to finish in one sitting. Very unique but a lot of unanswered questions.

I liked it.. While I loved the characters and the story was easy to read, I wanted more. I found myself waiting for something truly awful to happen, but it never really came. I guess I’ve read too many tragedies for this book to pull at my heart strings!

Another breath holding page turner!. WJ May has not failed to disappoint me yet! This series is incredibly creative, and I cannot wait for the rest to be released. Already pre-ordered the others in this series! A page-turner that makes you hold your breath in anticipation with every detail. I’m left needing more! Thankful for the imaginative story tellers like WJ May, and cannot wait to see what kind of future beholds characters like Elise.

Great Read!. Like many of W.J. May's books, the characters quickly capture your attention and don't let it go!! While the book does have a Hunger Games feel to it (and despite my constant comparison), the characters quickly build character and evoke feelings from the reader. Can't wait for the next book!

Loved it!. I really like that this book was different than your average run of the mill stories. It’s also a page Turner keeping me reading until late in the night. I couldn’t put it down for wanting to find out what came next.

The Price for Peace by W.J. may. Interesting. If you liked The Hunger Games or the Divergent series you might like this. My only criticism is that there was very little in the way of action. The entire book felt like it was giving the background for the rest of the story to come in later books.

Worthwhile Reading. This contains a surprising amount of good reading.

Nope. This was a big nope from me. The stealing, enslaving, and bidding off of children, to adult men, or women, is gross and incredibly, morally wrong.

Fantasy at its best!. This story has a cliffhanger to beat all others. There is so much mystery, fear and character development, all set in a fantasy world that is superbly described and there are so many lines waiting to be understood and tied off, along with the cliffhanger, that the not knowing is driving me crazy. I MUST have the next book!

Kept me reading until dawn. Loved this book. The build up was great. I kept thinking of the hunger games provinces, imagining they would be like described in the book, instead of called up for a deadly game in the capital.. they are called up to live in the capital, paired up with those crazies
