Trust me….DON’T DO IT!!. Sorry not sorry but one star is one star too many. Can ANYBODY explain to me why chapter 50 page 451 is the start of day 5?!? She got to the school on PAGE 12 CHAPTER 2…..make it make sense!….So the author wrote 571 pages for only a week to less than a week to go by? Im asking because I couldn’t finish it, I stopped at chapter 50 page 451 (the strength I had to call upon to get that far, Lord). red flag #2 there isn’t a single author of another book quoted on the cover of any of these books (how can you say these books are good when not even an actual writer of ANY book will say these books are good). Red flag #3 all these books were written In 3 to MAYBE 4 months because they all came out 5 months apart, I’m not even a writer and even I know that’s really really fast.

Read it. Just do it just read it. Yes it’s a slow start but bam 7 days later I’m done with all current 4 books. The cliffhangers and TWISTS are wow. This is not Twilight like at all. I don’t get the resemblance at all and while I liked both they are both good in their own different way.

Absolutely breathtaking. This book is one of my favorites. The author puts so many fun twists to this supernatural romance. It’s like twilight and legacies on a mixed multi dimension. There was action, jealousy, romance, and so much more! I never thought I would see half the plot twist coming. Definitely a hard book to put down.

Do not bother!!. Garbage book. Horrible writing and it’s a bad copycat of twilight and vampire diaries

Super fun read. This book is like a delicious meal. It’s so good you want to gobble it all up but if you pace yourself and take small bites and savor them - you really enjoy them. Characters are great, writing is descriptive and easy to read. Story is a little reminiscent of another vampire love story but has its own twist. Can’t wait to finish the whole series!

Better than I expected. After first reading all the reviews I was hesitant to purchase and read this book. However I really did enjoy it. It had a few similarities to Twilight (Denali Alaska, age 17, alpha wolf vs vampire) The Twilight series was even mentioned and compared to Grace and Jaxon. (Including an Edward quote) but that’s about all the similarities I saw. Great story and looking forward to the next book. Hopefully it’ll be written without the 25+ mention of eye rolling. If you’re on the fence and loved Twilight, then download this series.

A stellar read.. Fans of twilight will surely enjoy this. I read other reviews that said that they just could not stop turning the pages and wanting to read more, and I agree whole heartedly. This book was absolutely addicting. The ending shocked me and I am so excited for book two. Well done. I am thrilled that it had some similar vibes to the Twilight saga, as well as that romance that I love, but that it had its own style and story going for it.

Twilight but a different title. The nearly exact story of Twilight. Same characters, same flaws, same royalty. Weak, average girl, two gorgeous superhero guys, the whole bit.

Had me in the second half. This is a pretty easy read for an avid reader. 3 stars because it is painfully SLOWWW for the first half, but just get through it because the last half and the following books are worth it!! I will also comment that this book is nothing like the twilight series (except for mythical creature) and the rest of the series is worth the monotony of this one.

Annoying. Wish I wouldn’t have purchased this. I don’t mean to come off too harsh, as I’m sure the author worked very hard on this series. The main character, Grace, and her experience in Alaska is laughable. I live in Alaska, I’ve lived in Fairbanks, driven through Healy countless times. It’s not nearly as shockingly cold as the book describes, or at least puts so much attention on. The books makes the weather sound super dramatic. One star for the character, Grace, who seems like a decent main character. I like the internal voice she has. Book flows decently well but as someone whose Alaskan Native, the emphasis on how “crazy” Alaska is.. is exhausting. Also, you don’t fly from Fairbanks to Healy, you drive. It’s a two hour drive. You can google maps it for heavens sake. Sheesh.

Decent YA book. Fun and quick read. Reminiscent of Twilight.

Vampire love 🥰. Ugh I loved this book. I shouldn’t compare my relationship to this fiction book but I can’t HELP it. I want vampire love.

You know it’s good when you have digital & physical copy. This book is just too good. Tracy’s attention to detail is out of this world. I daydream when I read this. Love the dynamic with characters, love the witty comments and charming personalities. Hard to put down and stop reading. I truly enjoyed this and I highly recommend.

Kind of boring at first, gets better towards the end. Some parts were pretty good and descriptive writing, but overall, Crave is not a very good read. Many of the main character Grace’s thoughts seemed immature, like what a 12 year old would think. I can’t see why the mature vampire Jaxon would even be remotely attracted to her. In the last chapter, he finally thinks she is hot, but then why did he make no moves on her beyond kissing? I found that hard to believe. It's lacking in romance beyond immature childish ideas of romance. Grace is an insufferable character who keeps thinking irrational thoughts and doing whatever she feels like with the attitude of a brat. It's tedious to read pages of her internal thoughts without anything happening. On a positive note, it is interesting trying to figure out the mystery of who is trying to kill her. The battle scenes were pretty interesting. I liked her strength towards the end. I wished she developed powers sooner though so she wouldn’t be the weakest person.

Characters. One of the best books I have read, Grace's character is very well developed. I wasn’t expecting the outcome.

Don’t listen to the bad reviews!. A must read. Loved the entire story!

MUST. READ.. This was an amazing book. Never a dull moment and kept me reading at all hours, consumed by the characters and storyline. Loved every second.

Good read. This book did have elements of “vampire Diaries/legacies” but more on the “ vampire knight” description of vampires. Even with strong comparisons I really did enjoy reading this noval and plain to read the others.

Honest review. I wholeheartedly got this book thinking it to be a knock off version of twilight. Needless to say I was blown away. Twilight will always have a spot in my heart, but this was amazing especially for the first in the series. It’s a very slow start to develop the story like and the main cluster of characters but it really combines all of the things that make twilight, vampires diaries, and legacies good and puts it in one place. There’s never a point where it gets too serious for it’s own good the way twilight does, and it gets along with the story right before it gets almost tedious to continue the way I wish the other 3 would’ve (to be frank). It’s definitely a book that teens and young adults will enjoy all around.

Swooning. This booking is an up and down roller coaster of emotions. It’s brings the highest of highs when it comes to love and the the lowest of lows as well. It will have you wanting everything as grace and jaxon do!! Love this book!!

Ehhhh. It has its moments where it’s amazing but then she goes on for 100 pages narrating nothing and i just skim past it to get to the point . I wish it was written a little better with the plot in mind not every single side conversation and body movement

High hopes dashed. I was referred this book and had high hopes. I read this and got about 1/3 the way through the second book and I could not get passed the immature writing, the bad plot, the way too stereotypical love of vampires and how the main character who is 17 was “in love” in 4 days with her “mate.” Gag. I hate not finishing a book or series but I don’t think I can stomach another chapter.

Why is this book so goddamn long?!?. I think it’s enough to simply say: this 1,000 page book takes place in a singular week. To call the writing claustrophobic is an understatement. Also the extremely white main characters have both no personality and no chemistry.

I mean it’s ur generic vampire story and it’s hard not to compare it to twilight but in my opinion it’s more like Vampire Diaries but ANYWAY I don’t enjoy this book for the fact that my main character Grace is so stupid and selfish I mean oh my god. Only reading this first book because I’ve heard really good things about the second one.

Weak story. Weak story, flat characters, flat love story. This was not a good book. This seemed like it was written for 6-10 year olds. Nothing inspires me to read the second book

Okay. Not the best book i have ever read but not the worst either. It has potential if you are willing to stick it out. The middle gets a whole lot of long and murky and the book would benefit from some editing of nonessential text. But still worth a try if you are up for it.

Crave Rating. I rate this book a four out of five because of the dark plot twists. I actually threw the book because of one of the plot twists (but I do that with almost all my books). Not good. There’s to much of the basic stereotypical good and bad love interest and the characters have no interesting points about them there just basic with nothing to keep the readers interest.

Love this. I really loved this story of jaxon and grace! I have been desperately searching for a vampire paranormal romance book and this just did it for me! The mystery of what is going to happen next has my constantly thinking about when I would go about my day (can only read at night) and I would say it’s my new favorite series and I can’t wait to read more!! Also Jaxons view at the end really made it so exciting to see his side of it!! Thank you so much Tracy for brining me back to reading again as I haven’t done it in a long time!

Cringy. So much kissing it was GAG - like I love romance don’t get me wrong but it was TOO much. There was so much unhealthy relationship. It was just weird all over for it to be plausible. And “oranges and snow”? What does snow even smell like? And “deep water”? It was just laughably terrible. The puns. The interactions. I will not completely down this book in the fact that the plot twists are actually legit. The cliffhanger at the end totally got me. And the whole fight scene was actually interesting and had me sucked in from start to finish (and I wish I could say that for the whole book but hey I at least finished it).

Addicting!. It’s been a long time since I’ve allowed myself to indulge or rather immerse myself in a book, so when I finally found a title that sparks some interest....let’s just say I’m happy it popped up. Crave took me two days to read and can I just say I’m obsessed with this world. This is not another Twilight copy cat but in my personal opinion another universe for a Vampire/supernatural fan obsess over. I love the setting, the plot, the chemistry between the characters and the overall introduction to a reimagined look into the super natural world. The only thing I’m upset about is that I read the book too quickly and too soon. I will be waiting as patiently as I can for the second book (pre-ordered already) to come out so I continue to follow the journey of Grace and friends and see how the new obstacles and conflict unfolds.

Sis, read this book. Picture X-Men, Harry Potter, and Twilight crossing paths and BOOM, you’ve got crave. Also add some sexual tension to the mix, Game of Thrones vibes?? (Not the weird stuff just the divided factions and dragons), a heroine who readers can look up to (we love an unproblematic queen), a non-toxic romance (what Bella and Edward COULD have been if Bella was confident and Edward wasn’t straight up creepy), and a plot that is just *dramatic chef’s kiss* MWAH. This book literally INVENTED the term “page-turner.” And the movie’s gonna be lit—you can’t convince me otherwise.

Twilight fanfic. I honestly dont know how this story got published. Its decently written for a highschooler, but not a published writer. Theres no depth to it. Its quite literally jusr a wattpad fanfic about Twilight and Legacies (Vampire diaries). Its good if you need something to pass the time, but thats about it. It’s a cute story, but couldve been written better. If you like cliché, been written and rewritten a million time stories, this is for you.

I wouldn’t call this a replacement for twilight because I feel like twilight is the standard for all books “vampires” but this book definitely is great on its own and has its own plot and story line that makes it beautiful and unique. This book got me back into reading!. I could not put this book down! After several years of being in a slump, feeling no motivation to read more than a few pages here and there.. I picked this up at Target. I finished it in a weekend and was left craving more and immediately bought the sequel, Crush. From the moment I opened the book I was sucked into it the story and chemistry between characters. 5 stars!

Made it two chapters. The author loves the work "pretty". "Pretty sure", "pretty freaking (cold, hard, scary. Honestly take your pick) and, of course, "literally". Lazy writing, lazy editing. I am curious to know who is giving this book 5 star reviews. It's written like a pre-teen twilight fanfic, devoid of original thought and effective writing.

I can’t get enough of this book!!!. This book was recommended by a close friend. I didn’t think much about buying it, but when I was told I would love it much more than I love twilight... that was far from the truth. This book surpassed any and all expectations I had for it and I simply cannot get enough. I want all things in this book!!! There’s nothing else good I can say besides read it. Just read it. It will pull you into a fictional world of your own where it feels like you’re right there in Alaska with everyone else. Absolutely amazing and I cannot wait for book number two and three!

The cliff hanger at the end is so unexpected that the next book needs to come faster so we can find out what happens.

Cute. Got personality. Like a PG Twilight.. A fun read, you grow to like the characters. Definitely catering towards teens/preteens, and the development of the relationship could have been deeper. While I enjoyed it, it was easy to put down and unclear if I would continue on to the next book. The end of the book has an interesting twist/cliffhanger though that has a major redeeming quality, so I will continue with the series.

Please. stop.. I keep reading reviews about “Twilight this” and “Twilight that.” Almost everyone in the review section for this book keeps relating this to twilight. What if I never read twilight? Yes this book has vampires, but that doesn’t mean you should compare it to one of the most “popular” in said sub-genre. I read this book and I loved it. The characters were interesting and I ultimately loved the plot line. I couldn’t put it down. After reading this book I then read twilight. All I have to say is...don’t go opening a book and get upset because you’re comparing it to something else.

Elaborate writing, cool plot, bad delivery. So I love supernatural tropes and plots! Most of the time they’re very interesting to read and drown yourself in. However, if you hate the cliches of romance, especially with teens, then this isn’t for you. If you don’t mind these cliches, you’ll love it! Whatever floats your boat. However, it wasn’t great for me. The character development is good in the beginning but takes a nose dive once the female and male main characters meet. It’s that sudden “omg I look at you and all I can think about are these carnal desires I’ve never had before even though I don’t know your name.” There’s no true romance between the two, just sudden sexual tension thrown in your face. It has that cliche of “wait! Don’t go!” several times instead of any communication development between them. It also has that cliche of “I’m dangerous, you’ll die if you’re with me” and the girl responds with “psh die? I don’t believe you, you’re a good guy.” It’s a predictable book, not the plot kind of predictable, but predictable in the sense of how they interact with one another and how certain events at one moment will turn out. Like if the girl’s in danger, she’s obviously going to be saved by him while he’s all angst and brooding. Not all teenage interaction is like this and although we can fantasize about it as much as we want, the depiction is not realistic. Without the guy, the girl has no spine of her own.

Holy moly. Book 1 is good, book 2 is great and book 3 is PHENOMENAL! I am pre-ordering 4&5 🙌🏼 I love that it’s more than just another vampire book! There are so many different creatures and twist and turns! Book 3 is by far my favorite buy book 1 gets you hooked!

Can’t believe I have to wait a year for book two!!. Im only sad that I found this book so early. I wish I would have found it after book two released BECAUSE ITS JUST SOOO GOOD! I bought this book 2 days ago and I’ve already ready the whole thing. Sure I stayed up late but it was worth it! It was hard to put it down once I started. Obsessed with Grace & Jaxons relationship! Even more in obsessed with the last 3 chapters with jaxons point of view! Can’t wait to get my hands on book two! Thank you Tracy for sharing this story with the world♥️ I will be reading this book again closer the release date of book two!!

Just a Case of Wrong Audience, Maybe?. There have been a lot of comparisons between this book and another well-known ya paranormal romance franchise. While these similarities are obvious and certainly the other series has its own issues, this book fell below even that. Some elements seemed to pop up out of no where; they weren’t foreshadowed adequately enough to feel organic and ended up feeling more like just a convenient detail to suddenly include or reveal. For example, Grace is very interested in art—a significant personality trait—we are asked to believe. Aside from taking notice of architectural details, which I found difficult to believe that a high school student from a public school would even know, it just seemed like she was taking notice of her surroundings, not that she had her own talent and it was an important hobby. At one point she even muses about how she is always sketching (or has in the past), but we’ve never seen her do this, so how true is that statement? Too much narrative was spent on repeatedly declaring how cold it was, an unnecessary statement after the first or second time, and about details that didn’t propel the plot—detailed descriptions of bedrooms, floor plans, furniture placement, and clothing. General descriptions for most would have sufficed. And the eye rolls. Argh. Really irritating how often people rolled their eyes. Completely unnecessary, even if that is what teens do. It’s boring to read. The dialogue did improve as did the arc somewhat but it fizzled out quickly at the end. I am a grown woman, so perhaps this is the real issue. But even taking in account the target audience, it just doesn’t seem done well enough. The pace was also problematic and it ends in an unnecessary cliffhanger. Really disappointed this author also embraced the comparison to the SM series by even having a similar cover. Felt like a cheap marketing tactic, which seems to have worked for her, so kudos? I won’t be reading the rest of this series. Just not worth my time. I haven’t read any other works by Ms. Wolff, are they better? I hope the young readers use a more discerning eye and expect more from ya authors. Just because you’re teens, doesn’t mean you are only a bundle of eye rolls and txt abbreviations.

Amazing book! Read twice in 3 days!. This may be my favorite book ever. I thought it would be like Twilight but it was so much more. There was action and love and mystery. The characters were all well developed and were amazing. The bonus chapters at the end were amazing and added so much more to the book. I can’t wait for book 2.

I did not wanna like this book. I got this book recommended multiple times and finally gave it a go.. and I genuinely did not want to like it because I felt like it was such a cliche, been there done that kind of story. NOPE. SO FREAKING GOOD. Finished it in 24 hours and I’m thankful the next book comes out next week because maaaaan that cliffhanger wrecked me. It is a little sappy/cringe but that’s to be expected with a teen vampire story. If you’re questioning it, DO IT.

Amazing!!!!. I read it twice. And I’d do it again. This book is by far an attention grabber. I finished it in less than 2 days. It’s something about a forbidden love that captures your heart and the way these characters love each other. SWOOOONN! A MUST READ.
