Nope. Weak female main character, even though she’s supposed to be young, she comes across incredibly immature. Repetitive and boringly descriptive writing that did nothing for the story.

Don’t waste your time. Ends on a cliffhanger just as the romance starts and the build up isn’t as big as the let down

Not a stand alone book. Reader should always be told upfront when a book is not a stand alone book!

✯✯5 Tragic Stars!!!✯✯. Kennedy Kennedy Fox. What have you done to me again?!?!?! Kennedy Fox are the Queens of the duets. I already know when I get to the last few paragraphs, ESP the last one, few lines I’m going to be left with a rushing heart, blood boiling and jaw dropped. Baby Mine was no different lol. If you read Forever Mine you know Hunter was in a tough situation being so close to the one person he wanted but was untouchable. But, now we get the story in full. Hunter meets Lennon while bar tending. The instant feeling he gets from her is unlike anything he’s ever felt before. But, before he got a chance to get to know her she meets Brandon. Brandon’s Hunters best friend and roommate. That moment changes Hunter’s life. Hunter loves, respects and cares about Brandon the same he does for his brother Hayden. He’d never do anything to hurt Brandon. He never tells Brandon he met Lennon first or his feelings for her. Only Hayden knows and Hunter plans on keeping it that way. When Lennon moves in Hunter can’t take it. Between her singing in the shower, them eating dinner together, her insistence on the apartment being clean he’s loosing his mind. Hunter does everything to piss Lennon off. Making her stomp her feet, storming out of the room, he’ll do anything to make her hate him. As long as Lennon and Brandon don’t know his true feelings he’ll survive somehow. Sure Lennon felt something when she met Hunter. But past relationship made her guess herself against Hunter. When she met Brandon he was unlike any guy she’d ever met. Their relationship developed quick. She definitely didn’t wanna live with Hunter but until he either moved out or her and Brandon could afford their own place she’ll deal with him. Lennon doesn’t know what she did to him to make him treat her the way he does. Brandon assures her that’s just Hunter and not to worry. She loves Brandon and wants to spend the rest of her life with him. Then one night there’s a knock on their door and Lennon and Hunter’s life will never be the same. These two are distraught, angry and beside themselves. Lennon lost the love of her life. Hunter lost his best friend. They’re left living together, grieving and trying to figure out what to do next. Hunter takes care of Lennon. Making sure she’s eating, sleeping and everything else. Their relationship changes drastically. They start to become friends. Best friends. Their feelings are all over the place. Lennon’s sisters are telling her it’s OK to move on and Hunter’s friends telling him she’s off limits. A baby is is coming and there’s a stage five clinger in the picture. It’s a full on crap shoot. I’m not sure what’s next. I read this in one day. Hunter and Lennon’s story is heartbreaking and beautiful at the same time. I’m dying for Baby Yours bc these two are in desperate need of a HEA after everything they’ve had thrown at them.

Baby mine. Loved it! Usually i prefer a standalone bit i saw this and wanted to give it a try. Not knowing if it was a series or not. I am actually considering the next book.

Hunter was attracted to Lennon from the moment he saw her but he never pursued her but someone else did: his roommate Brandon, who never knew how Hunter really felt about Lennon. His nightmare came true when she moved into their apartment and the close quarters became even closer and she was there every time he turned around. Hunter changed his life for Lennon through the death of Brandon and with her unexpected pregnancy. He was acting like a martyr; allowing his guilt over his feelings for Lennon to cause him to drop everything and care for her. He truly loved her and every decision he made was out of devotion for her and his friendship for Brandon. Sometimes Hunter didn’t seem happy being with Lennon because he wanted forever and he knew he didn’t deserve her. As I was reading I felt bad for Hunter because living with Lennon, the girl of his dreams, was like being with your favorite book boyfriend, who didn’t know you were alive. You can only dream about being together, never touching, never making memories. You long to be included in just a tiny aspect of their life but in the end you keep quiet, and go on alone. Hunter’s longingness for Lennon was heartbreaking and I kept hoping that he would shout to the rooftops how he felt about her. He existed only to care for her, go to work, and dream of something he could never have: Lennon’s love.

Annoying. It literally drags on and ends in a cliffhanger just when it gets good.. don’t waste your time

I highly recommend this epic tail!. Where to even start. In short if you’re looking for a phenomenally developed plot, with amazing characters, angst, heartbreak, and so much love it hurts... Baby Mine is the book for you! Imagine meeting the girl of your dreams in passing. And her ending up with someone else... Imagine thinking have found it all and it’s yanked away. Imagine having a front row seat for someone you think you should be with, watching their happily ever after happening with someone else. Imagine it all changing on a dime... I laughed. I cringed. I cried. I adored this book!! I cannot wait for book 2.... the cliffhanger was HHH-eavy.... this book has it all and had me all in my feels. Highly, highly recommend this epic tale!

Didn’t finish it. Slow moving and repetitive, got 1/4 of the way through it and quit.

Stopped in the middle of the plot line. I understand that the author would like the reader to purchase the next book in a series, but it’s a pet peeve of mine when the original story is not even partially concluded.

Loved it! Emotional and captivating!. Once I was done reading Baby Mine by Kennedy Fox, the first book in their Roommate duet, I needed time to regroup. This story blew me away in so many different ways. It was full of emotions, heartbreaking and so freaking full of angst I could not breathe. I could not stop reading and just wanted to yell at anyone who interrupted me while I was reading. This will story will consume you. Hunter cannot help wanting Lennon. Everything about her calls to him, but she belongs to someone else. His best friend and roommate. It kills him to be so close and yet so far away from her. My heart just broke for him repeatedly. Hunter will steal your heart. If you read Forever Mine (which is not a requirement) but is a quick and charming romance about Hunter’s brother, you have met him already. He is such a loyal kind of guy for anyone he cares about. Lennon was such a sweet and caring girl. But when tragedy strikes, Hunter and Lennon are broken in unbelievable ways. They learn to lean and comfort each other. And then they are hit with more surprises. Let me tell you, I COULD NOT PUT THIS BOOK DOWN. This book will wreck you in so many ways. These two authors are incredible writers and put everything into every book they write. I cannot recommend reading this enough and I am literally waiting in a corner for the second book! Really complicated!. This book is a very complex love story with 3 people who are tied together through deep friendship, romantic love, and love with lots of guilt. Sweet and sad at the same time.

Hooked!. I don’t like reading but I finder this in 2 days! Amazing book. I recommend any of her books 10/10

Outstanding!. Baby Mine by Kennedy Fox has packed a punch and delivered a story so consuming, I never wanted it to end! Hunter, Lennon and Brandon’s story was so riveting, I could not put the book down. A love/hate story so full of emotion...hope, love, friendship, pain and anger with the unthinkable thrown in? I was simply fascinated with every aspect of this story and cannot wait for book two. Kennedy Fox has simply outdone themselves with Baby Mine!

Sweet but Generic. To start this off, I will say the writing itself is good. If I rate it just on that alone, I’d for sure be a higher rating. The reason for the two is because, although it may be sweet, it’s really generic and basic. I read a lot so I’ve read plenty of stories with storylines like this one. If you don’t really read a lot and are looking for a sweet, super cheesy read then this is for you. The inner dialogue of the first 10 chapters is extremely repetitive and I almost stopped reading several times. After that it got better and I was able to finish the book. It ends on a cliff hanger but I have no desire to continue the series.

Pretty bad. Completely unrealistic. The characters don’t make realistic decisions and the emotions don’t make sense. Doesn’t wrap up the story at all and ends on a cliffhanger that I had no desire to see the ending to.
