Great Read—Despite Having Some Predictable Steps. When I first started “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder” I was captivated by its presentation. A Nancy Drew-esque protagonist decides to make a hometown murder whose case was closed-to-soon her senior capstone project. Being honest I did quite enjoy this page-turner as I was captivated to see what plot point would come next. With that being said, I yield from providing a full five-star review as there are quite a few tropes in this story that are all too common for Young Adult whodunnits nowadays—many that lead to this story feeling semi-reminiscent to the Pretty Little Liars series. I am eager to dive into the rest of the series to see what is to come for Pip, and her kindly-written sidekick Ravi.

10/10. I couldn’t put this book down I loved it. It definitely was a thriller and had a very good plot.

Good but hard to keep up. It’s a good book but over 25 characters and their relationship to the story were introduced within the first three chapters. Way too much at one time. The next time a character was mentioned, I forgot their relationship to another one and had to go back and find where they introduced them. Overall, not impressed. I do not get the hype.

A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder. This book will have you on your toes page after page. It was a quick and easy read that had many unexpected twists and turns. Loved it!

Favorite book!. Okay this is going to be long but just hang on for a little! First thing, this book is my absolute favorite book so far! The character development is outstanding. You have to read the other books in the trilogy to see more of Pip and the others in order to get a better grasp of her life and her passion but overall in the first book they were amazing. My friend read this book too and she said it was a little hard to keep track of the characters so just keep that in mind while reading. Second, I love this book so much it took me less than a week to finish and maybe one and a half weeks to finish both the first and second book. (Good girl, bad blood-2) the third took me a week and a half to finish because it was a lot to process. Last but not least, definitely keep a tissue box next to you because I cried at least 5 times! So grab a drink and a blanket and get cozy cause this book sends you on a emotional roller coaster! Make sure to look up the trigger warnings before reading but other than that get ready to follow Pip on the biggest mystery in Fairview!

Gripping thriller with a twist. Hands down one of the best books I’ve read in the last few years. It doesn’t drag on, has a good pace, and you get to be so involved that you’ll feel compelled to take your own notes. Just when you think you’ve got it figured out Holly Jackson throws you for another loop. The plot twist are perfectly timed and don’t leave you confused. I can’t wait to read the sequel.

Wow. This book is very suspenseful, well-written, and just amazing in general. I loved every aspect of it, and I really don’t usually read that many books. But this book, I could not stop reading. It was like it was attached to my brain. The whole series is just my absolute favorite ever.

Hard to put down!. Such a fun and enticing read! Great characters and winding plot, I finished it pretty fast. I was trying to follow the clues too and I did not expect the ending, it really did feel like listening to the Serial podcast. Also, one of the last chapters had such a beautifully descriptive and creative section in it (definitely my favorite writing part of the whole thing). Awesome YA mystery story! I could see it as a show or something for sure.

Crazy Plot Twist. This book is absolutely amazing and can’t recommend it enough. I read this book in 3 days because of how interesting it was. If you enjoy mystery novels, I think this book is probably one of the best out there. I’m going to read the sequel.

Five stars. This book was so intricately plotted that it had me on my seat literally reading every chapter waiting to see what would happen next it’s an action packed book something new happens in every chapter pippa is a great detective and there’s always something new to find. The story follows pippa in third person and I normally don’t read third person books but this one was fantastic the way the narrator tells the life of pippa and the way she is and the other characters in the book. Overall the writing style was 10/10. The plot is so so good. Roughly it’s about the senior pippa fitz amobi doing her capstone project on the disappearance of Andie bell and her alleged murdered and boyfriend sal singh but pippa doesn’t believe this. When she goes hunting for answers though it seems that someone in town doesn’t want her snooping and digging up answers. It’s thrilling and very entertaining to read highly recommend!!

it wasn’t that bad. maybe is because the prota is a teen but her actions and others were predictable also the way everything was going her way made the reading a bit boring but still good edit: just recently heard that the original one (Uk version) is more detailed and the prota isn’t annoying as this one, so i’ll read the whole serie

Finished in record time. A very good book!

WOW. My jaw is still on the floor. I was hooked from the beginning to end!! I went back and forth the entire time about who I thought the big bad was. If you’re reading this review wondering if you should start this book… DO IT

Talk about a page turner. This story had me guessing until the very end but also convinced I knew who it was the whole time. It did an amazing job tying together all of the characters and also providing so much evidence for each one that you think it’s them all at one point or another. The relationship that bloomed between Ravi and Pippa truly made the story special. Her helping him and him helping her. Loved this read and can’t wait for the next in the series!
