Taming Him by Kennedy Fox. I loved this book, especially the main characters Alex and River. Could hardly put it down once I started reading it. The sizzling sex scenes were great. I loved that They had a happy ending! I would definitely recommend this book

8/10. Loved this book, read in 2 days, couldn’t set down! But it can get a tad predictable and I wish there was a little more character relationship development.

Disappointed. I started reading this book a couple of months ago and stopped reading it because it was very slow. I didn’t delete it because it was a Kennedy Fox book and I love their books. I just finished reading Roping The Cowboy and I loved everything about it so I decided to give Taming Him another chance. I was disappointed because my first impressions of it didn’t change. The book didn’t get better for me. For the majority of it was boring. I didn’t connect with the characters especially Alex and River. The Bishop brothers didn’t move me. Normally the sidekick best friend of the heroine is funny and outrageous but Natalie was boring too. The story wasn’t bad. It just wasn’t great. I am curious to read Hitching The Cowboy which is Riley’s story. Riley is Alex and Rivers’s son from this book. until next time y’all happy reading.

Okay. I want to know what is up with the “winks”. It was distracting due to how much this was written into the story. It was way over done and not cute.

Sweet and charming romance!. The writing duo known as Kennedy Fox have given us some great couples we have loved! This time they are giving us stories about sexy cowboys! Taming Him is the first book in their new Bishop Brothers series. What a start it was! Alex Bishop is quite the charmer. He is sexy, gorgeous and a gentleman. He may not do relationships, but he treats the women in his life with respect, even as he tells them let’s be friends. He has a strong foundation from his family and really was an overall great guy. River Lancaster thought she had met the man of her dreams, only to find out he is married. Brokenhearted, she heads off on a two-week vacation to put it behind her. This is about her and moving on. I loved River. She has been hurt in the past and does not trust easy, but she is also sweet, feisty and determined. Alex and River meet when they are both on vacation and feel an instant attraction. They decide to enjoy each other and have fun before walking away. What they did not expect was the need to see each other again. It was so much fun watching these two together! I do not want to spoil this, but they are so good together. I loved that they took their time. Taming Him was a nice surprise from this writing duo. It was a very sweet romance. And I absolutely loved the Bishop family. This book really set-up the foundation for the rest of the series. I am so excited to read about all the brothers. No substance. This book was way too long and drawn out. There was no real conflict in the story. If your looking for something with substance this is not it.

Spoilers. I’m half way through this book & it reads so much like her roommate series. Another surprise pregnancy, another couple who deny their feelings(one of the brothers so I’m assuming his book will read like the second books in the roommate series). The author writes well she just needs more ideas.

Very good. This was a very good story. I’m always a little iffy about stories that have to do with accidental pregnancies but this one made it easy to love. The chemistry between Alex & River was steaming hot even though River was very stubborn. I just wanted them to be together in the end. Not as much drama as some of the other Kennedy Fox box but very enjoyable.

Great story!. I love me a good Kennedy Fox book but I was a little nervous to read Taming Him. Stories of cowboys usually don’t appeal to me but I’m happy to say, I’m a fan now! River and Alex both happen to be on a two week vacation in Key West. Alex and his friend Dylan, both cowboys, are taking a much needed break from the ranch where they both work. Alex, who is a nurse, her best friend Natalie and Natalie’s boyfriend, all travel to Key West together for some much needed R&R. River and Alex meet and sparks immediately fly. They both decide this vacation will be nothing more than a fun tryst and there will be no feelings involved, no exchanging information, nothing once the trip is over. Until the trip is over and everything changes. I really enjoyed everything about this book. How the relationship starts between Alex and River, what happens when they come together again and everything in between! The secondary characters in this book were fun as well and I loved that we got to see Drew & Courtney again! From the little snippet we get for the next book, I’m completely on board with this new series! Taming Him will make you feel every single emotion and the ending will leave you swooning!

Taming Him. Fast paced. A mix between modern and western romance. Fling turns into something more permanent for Alex and River. Only problem I had is that Alex’s character is unrealistic. He is too good to be true. No one is that sweet and nice.

Cute. Cute story, but endings are really similar with other Kennedy Fox stories. Also, please find another word for "chuckle"... It was used near 100x.

Sooo much fun. I would give it five stars for the humor and real human emotion. I laughed heartily at many situations. I am from a small town and could relate to the friction and rumor mill aspects of this story. The characters are well developed and fun. The four star rating is for grammatical errors that frustrated the language arts teacher in me. The tenses in the a single sentence changed and the verb tenses disregarded the subject in many instances. Editing can make or break a story line. If you have the ability to delve into the story above all else, I guarantee you will enjoy this book!!! I look forward to reading the next book in this series and ignoring the grammatical issues.

What?. So first off I love the book, but as a Wisconsinite, River makes no sense. From this point forward it’s just me being triggered so feel free to stop reading. How has cheese not been mentioned? Most of us literally have an entire drawer in the fridge dedicated to cheese. Plus there’s no way a girl from Eagle River hasn’t seen wildlife except “on the side of the road.” We had a deer break into a Perkins where I live and the population is almost 6x that of Eagle River. We had a kid get chased by a turkey in Green Bay. Turkeys, deer, and sometimes even bears wander through my front yard. I’ve almost hit a porcupine driving to my mom’s house. We once had a “lock down” at school because there was a bear in a tree by the playground. Don’t get me wrong, Milwaukee and Madison are cities, but once you head north, we ain’t city. Oh! And there’s absolutely no way Natalie could be that wastes in Florida. River may be a light weight, but we can hold our alcohol.

Taming Him. The storyline was way drawn out. Liked the main characters but it was the characters of the bishop brothers that make this novel manageable to read.

Vacation fun with a surprise. Cowboy Alex Bishop just wanted to get away for a vacation and to have a little fun. River Lancaster just ended a bad relationship and want to get away for rest, relaxation and to forget about men! Alex and River happened to be staying at the same resort and decided to have a fun, 2 weeks adventure with no strings attached. They went their separate ways but were drawn back together. This was a fun, hot and angsty love story.

A good romance read. 2 strangers on vacation, chance meeting, a deep connection, and the story just rolls on from there. Is a good love story. Had me wanting to know what’s next. Did not disappoint.

Look out Texas. Very interesting to see how a newcomer to Texas can win everyone’s heart!
