Vivian Arend never disappoints! I throughly enjoy reading about all the Coleman’s and the extended family. I genuinely feel like I’m part of the family. Lisa and Josiah have a great story that continues the Whiskey Creek girls storyline. Can’t wait to read all about Finn and Karen and the Coleman clans continuation. What an explosive kickoff for the Whiskey Creek Coleman's spinoff. Lisa is the youngest sibling. She's been flirting with Josiah for weeks now, but nothing has come of it. Enter two new players to the cast of characters. How will they play into future stories? And let's not forget the unforgettable delivery of baby Tyler. But beyond all of the excitement, the realization that George Coleman is human was a spectacular unveiling. Even though we weren't privy to the conversation, he and Caleb both came to understand that they can't smother those they love for fear of something bad happening. His story was touching and believable. I can't wait to see how the new characters (Julia, Finn and Zach) fit into this community and into the Coleman/Stone families.
I loved this book so much. It’s not just the storyline itself, its the authors writing skills that truly makes the story great. She makes you feel what the characters are going through. I have loved every book of hers that I’ve read and this one is another example of why. I was hooked from the very beginning and did not want to put it down for anything. Can’t wait for the next book in the series!!
This is book 1 in the Coleman’s of Heart Falls series. This was a really good story. Lisa is helping her sister out during her pregnancy. She’s ready to do something for herself and to fulfill her bucket list. But she’s also attracted to Josiah, who is the very busy hot vet. This was so fun watching everything happening between them and everyone else who shows up from time to time. This story keeps your attention and draws you right into the middle of the family. I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys a good story!
Vivian Arend does a fabulous job in writing about ranching families, from the Colemans to the Thompsons to the Stones. It’s like coming home, even if you don’t live in Canada. This story of Lisa and Josiah is no different. She has a way of writing that makes you get so involved with all of the characters without being “too wordy”. The only problem is that I read them too fast and have to wait for the next family member to get their HEA. I can’t wait for Karen’s and Lisa’s stories. I hope that we get to meet Josiah’s family, they sound fascinating.
Josiah and Lisa are awesome together, they completely get one another’s sense of humor, and quirky personalities. I have to say it was a pleasant twist to have the H have self image insecurities regarding himself in relationships but yet doesn’t effect his hot masculinity. And Lisa with her wondering spirit. Some of which is her need find place where she belongs. These two complement one another completely.
I can’t quite figure out what to say without giving a bunch of spoilers but here goes. Lisa is staying in Heart Falls to help her sister and then plans to be off on her next adventure and Josiah is looking for forever and tired of being just not quite good enough or so he thinks. What happens when an adventurer spirit meets home and hearth is an amazing story full of love, laughter and some tears and that’s just the main story line. I loved this story and can’t wait for the next sister to find her HEA.
If comfort food were in book form this is it. Vivian Arend has a way of drawing you into the story with her characters and scenery and you are so invested in the characters it’s hard to part at the end. Lisa and Josiah’s story is sweet and romantic. She’s sassy and strong with a venerable side. Finding her way is the journey she’s on. Josiah is adorable and it’s nice to see a male character with an insecurity he must work through. He’s a veterinarian who needs to find what makes him happy beyond work and learn his self worth. Heart Falls is a beautiful place and I love how we see previous characters make their way beyond a HEA. I also enjoy how introducing new characters provides a glimpse of what’s to come. The dog Ollie is priceless!
I have waited for the whiskey creek girls stores and the wait was worth it. Sweet love story with the perfect touch of vulnerability and HOT NESS. And don’t forget the Coleman secrets. Hold on to your hats people this gets good.

This was a stunning read. I couldn’t stop reading. The storyline was interesting and full of adventure. The characters Lisa Coleman and Josiah Ryder are exciting and fun. If you love a great romance adventure with wonderful characters and a HEA then this story is for you.
This story was a joy to read. Lisa spends almost all her time helping her family with very little left over for herself. Josiah is a busy veterinarian. As they discover each other, they are also discovering and defining themselves. I loved the interaction between these two. It seemed very real; and with the addition of a somewhat demanding little dog, it felt all too familiar. The little scripts they acted out and their sparring conversations added depth and humor to their emotional connection. Tears (mine) were cropping up left and right with a new baby (Lisa’s sister Tamara), injured puppies, a new found family member, a harsh dad finding his heart and much more. Vivian Arend has been a must read author for me since her ‘6 Pack Ranch’ series.

The premise is engaging and entertaining; the romance is sweet, passionate and seductive; the characters are familiar, friendly, fun and energetic. My only issue is the cover which, for all intents and purposes, does not truly represent the story line premise-the guitar is more of a prop for our story line heroine. Yes, I am that cover snob who struggles with the visual imagery when it does not meet expectations of the story within.
Well let me start with I love love love this series. I love the town of Heart Falls and the cast of characters that makes up the town. Josiah and Lisa just may be my favourite couple so far (a hard choice to make). Josiah is the town vet, a man who though self-made and strong on the outside hides a number of vulnerabilities from his past, however, this is no broody hero as he sees the joy in life too. He doesn’t plan to be involved with Lisa at first as he is not interested in temporary anymore. Lisa is in town to help her very pregnant sister and has “plans” to go see the world once the baby is here. Lisa has always been the helper in the family the one everyone relies on and she feels she should do something for herself for a change. The attraction is there and two people who didn’t know they needed each other find that, while the best laid plans can often go awry, they can also lead to the greatest joy. Josiah decides to show Lisa all the fun and joy of staying in Hearts Fall and building a life with him. Fun, funny, hot and sweet, I loved this book and can’t recommend it enough.
What a pure page turner. Thoroughly enjoyed following the life of a country vet and three sisters. A must read.
Another instalment of the wider Coleman Clan and another brilliant read by Vivian Arend. The past meets one character, the Coleman sisters get together and another finds her Happy Ever After. Vivian Arend doesn’t disappoint. Highly recommended.

Captivating, emotional, fun and at times, heartbreaking; The Cowgirl’s Forever Love is the epitome of comfort food and all things we treasure about that felling of coming home. An author who can make a reader release an audible sigh of contentment, has truly written something inspiring. And the cover is perfect! Vivian Arend has this effect with each and every book. Her ability to grab a reader and hold tight till the last page is turned, is testament to the depth, yet simplicity of her world building, the strength of her storylines, and the complex and genuine characters that we find ourselves drawn to time and time again. Readers will easily devour this book in one sitting as the plot and characters make it impossible to put down. Lisa and Josiah are delightful together, and the beautiful depiction of the slow, yet simmering growth of their relationship is heart-warming and realistic. And I’d be remiss not to mention the adorable four-legged Ollie, who lays claim to both these humans as her own. I thank the author for a story that will stay will me forever, and it will definitely be joining the many Vivian Arend books on my shelf to be reread in the future.
