Desperate Measures. This is a very good book to read, it has suspense, lots of sex and a ending I didn’t so coming but it is good. I would like to see these character in another one of your stories.

It’s okay. I was really excited to read this book, as I loved Neon Gods. Unlike Neon Gods, sadly, this book lacked deeper plot and character development. I was quite disappointed, I think there were good opportunities to make this book great, but some scenes and areas missed their mark. I would have liked to have known the back story a little more, “more of a warm up”, before jumping into the story. Additionally, there were a lot of repeated phrases that just fell flat for me. I NEVER rate books but this is not for me. I couldn’t even finish it. However, I do have to say I’m excited to read her newer books in the upcoming months, as I can tell her writing has developed since this book!

Hot!. I’ve read Katee Roberts’ books before and they were good books but this one blew my mind. The dark subject matter and kink could have gone sideways in the wrong hands but Katee nailed Jasmine’s empowerment arc and consent was always well handled.

So good. It is not what I was expecting but dame I could not stop reading. It’s so good and I’m not going to lie I loved the ending.

Scorching. It’s modern day gangs in the form disney villains. I liked it even though I dislike daddy kinks that’s the only part that ruined this for me but if that’s your thing this is your book.

Not as good as Kate’s other books. This one seems like it was squeezed out due to some obligatory contract fulfillment. I couldn’t feel Jasmine and Jafar’s connection and the pet names were so cheesy. “Please Daddy”?!? This was probably Katee’s worst book.

Spicy Disney. Say less! I absolutely love her writing style and love the little spicyness of this Disney retelling. Especially the the fact that everyone is a villain in some way.

Oh my gosh. I’m going to be brutally honest, this is the first book I have ever fully read. I started reading the book yesterday and finished it today. It was FANTASTIC. The ending is AMAZING. I definitely saw it coming though, but overall I loved this book and I cannot wait to read the other books!!!

Yes please!. If you want smut this is the book for you, I have a whole new light to my favorite Disney characters, it’s like mafia meets Disney! 10/10 recommend! Couldn’t put this book down!

Amazing. Amazing story

The idea isn’t awful. So the plot is there but it felt like the outline of a book instead of an actual story. It was definitely very smutty, which I know is a part of the point but I don’t think I can read another book in this series. In addition to the story feeling rushed and empty, I feel as though there was a lack of variety in describing things or interactions between characters. Certain words or phrases were repeated way too frequently and it ended up distracting me and taking away from the little bit of story there was.

Highly recommend!!!. This story was wonderful for an adult twist on the Disney movie we know and love “Aladdin” but it focuses more on Jasmine and Jafar’s relationship… I love how it turned out even though it is a short read for me, I read it in one sitting. But still I highly recommend if you love the Disney Princesses with a little R Rated twist to it..

Not what I was expecting. But good for what it is

Meh. It has a lot of sex which may be what you’re looking for, but that’s really all it has. It bears little passing resemblance to the original story and just steals the names. The plot is predictable at best, and even the sex isn’t well written. There are leaps in logic and relationship developments that are hard to follow. In the end there is a lot of telling, but no showing. Thanks for telling me she had an orgasm or telling me she realized she loved him, but there was so little illustrative language that I wasn’t invested in the characters or plot at all. There are better books with just as much smut at lower prices.

Love this book!. Could knot stop reading !!

All Smut and No Story (No Spoilers). I had high expectations after seeing people going crazy for this book on social media. It is just 100%, all over the place, disorganized smut. The story is just not there. There’s not much backstory as to how the main characters established their relationship post-“palace” takeover, so I was having a hard time understanding where it came from. It seems like there’s just hatred and attraction out of nowhere. It continued to be a trend for all characters involved, all sex and no depth. I’m seriously disappointed. If you want just basic erotica, this may be your speed. I was just hoping for more.

Eh. I’m all for reading smut books but this book was nothing but smut. I’m not big into the whole daddy thing so sadly I skipped most of the sex parts.

Whew Chile!!! lol. I felt like the ending was rushed but only because I wanted more from it. That doesn’t take away how great the book was though, I loved the steaminess and the chemistry between Jafar and Jasmine. Very great erotica from katee!!!

Lacking. I loved the idea behind the book but was sadly disappointed with how it was written out. One of the biggest issues was that there were major jumps when it came to character development. It felt like none of the characters stayed consistent with their development throughout the story and would drastically change without an explanation. These constant changes caused these characters to make decisions that didn’t flow with the story and made it hard to read through. The second major issue was that it lacked in the aspect of what I would consider a decent smutty book. There are plenty of sex scenes in this book but as another reviewer stated — these scenes lacked deeper details and you’d probably find more in depth smutty stories on Tumblr, AO3, or on here for a lower price. I wouldn’t recommend this book to you if you’re looking for an amazing smutty book that has a plot you’d be able to follow.

Steamy.. This was a fun sexy read. Good steamy scenes, but it’s missing ‘magic.’ None of the characters have powers of any kind, which is what I expected reading about “Jafar.” I would have enjoyed it more if there was a fantasy element in more ways than one.

Contact Katee. This book on iBooks didn’t download the entire book, so I emailed Katee per the instructions on the last page. I got a copy of the book and can’t put it down. This is the second writer I have seen this happen to and both handled it well. iBooks needs to fix these problems faster and compensate readers. It hurts the writers reliability and their reviews suffer. If you do not get the entire book contact Katee ( email is inside of the book). You will not regret it. Great read!

Wow!!!. So it takes a lot for me to be interested in a book, I love Disney so that what hooked me. To have something I love turn into something so spicy and sexy is phenomenal. On to the next.

Decent book! No spoilers. All I’m all a pretty good read. There were some seriously major jumps towards the end when it came to character development. Instead of developing the characters and story lines more there was a whole lot of repetition. There were also a ton of editing errors towards the middle and end, a few of the sentences I couldn’t even understand

Hot new twist !!. I did not know what to expect when I first started reading this book and woah! Katee Robert did not disappoint. This story was exceptional!! It pulls you in from the start and keeps you hooked until the very end. I love reading modern fairytale retellings, but this dark new twist of the villain as the hot, sexy alpha antihero was mind-blowing!! I loved every page of it and could not put it down. Jafar, the power hungry as always, dominant, sexy antihero, claims Jasmine and her territory during a hostile takeover. Jasmine, the submissive, bratty and underestimated heroine, fights her attraction to Jafar and is tired of being a pretty pawn in man's world tries to find freedom. It was great seeing Jasmine find her inner strength and find her own footing. Jafar and Jasmine's white hot chemistry jumps off the page and makes the push and pull between the two characters more entertaining. I love the idea of Aladdin as the bad guy. Overall, I would recommend this story and cannot wait for the rest of the Wicked Villains series.

Amazing. Absolutely loved this retelling ! Really enjoyed the tie ins to the classic story but how different of a take it is on the characters ! And definitely lots of nice spicy moments !!!
