Another winner from Piper Rayne. Piper Rayne is one of my go to authors for a fun contemporary romance. This is the fourth in the Bailey series, each book highlighting a different romance trope. Savannah Bailey is the second oldest of nine children. When her parents die suddenly, she at the age of 19, along with her brother Austin, take on the responsibility to raise her siblings. While Austin taught at the high school and took point on raising the other siblings, Savannah took on the responsibility of running the family lumber mill. Since she had to grow up so quickly, she needs order and suppresses her own needs. Liam Kelly is Savannah’s younger brothers’ (twins Rome and Denver) best friend. He has had a crush on Savannah since is was twelve and she was seventeen. While Savannah is attracted to Liam, she doesn’t want to act on it since she is five years older and he is her brothers’ best friend. Through the first three books, Liam and Savannah keep sniping at each other, so you know there is some pent up attraction there. Liam is a great character, and he brings out the best in Savannah. Piper Rayne has written another winner. I received an arc of this book from the author for my honest review.

Best book in the series. This has been the best story yet. I laughed and I cried!!!

Favorite Bailey Book. I love Liam and his unwavering love for Savannah! I liked the slow build to their romance and how they just can’t deny each other. I didn’t really care for what Savannah did to Liam towards the end, but she made up for it. Grandma was a little much in this one, but she means well. Liam might be my favorite guy in this series.

Finally, our girl got a man!. So happy to finally watch our girl Savannah get herself a good man. This relationship has been teased to us throughout the series so it’s so nice to finally have it come to fruition. I’m so hooked to this series, I’ve been breezing through the books. I cannot wait to see what else the Bailey Siblings have in store.

My favorite so far. I think this is my favorite couple in this series so far. I loved reading about their friendship/relationship and how it blossomed from when they were younger to now. To see Savannah opening up more and more with each chapter is amazing. Great read!

This is Savannah and Liam’s story and how Liam had been in love with Savannah most of his life . Read this story to find how they finally find their HEA .

Falling For My Brothers Best Friend. Great characters and continuation of a family story.

Take off Grandma Dori / Warning: Spoilers. This is the fifth book I have read in this series and I have loved them all except for Grandma Dori’s character. Meddling isn’t even the right word for her. I hate that she is the character in every single book that feels like she can manipulate, yes, manipulate her grandkids into doing whatever she wants. What happened to the characters’ freedom to choose? You can give advice without being manipulative. When she moved into Juno’s place to stop her to stop Savannah from moving out of Liam’s I lost it. Your grown up granddaughter is hurting and you are manipulating her into doing something against her wishes. Takes away any ability I could have of relating to her character. Hopefully they tone down her character in the next books cause everything else I love in these series.

Oh the Baileys are back!!. Oh how I have waited for Savannah and Liam's story, and Piper Rayne did not disappoint. This story starts out fast, no long drawn out minutiae and I loved it!  You get to the good part, the day after...the fallout from the wedding! Now if you haven't read any of the stories in this series, don't fear.  You can totally read this as a stand-alone, but trust me...you are going to want to read all of them. I loved the reverse age gap!  As Savannah wrote in an autograph.."The future is female" and I embraced her girl power. It's sad that there is still a stigma on the whole older woman, younger man and I admired that Piper Rayne wrote this story the way they did. It was refreshing to see that Savannah has vulnerabilities.  I empathized with her feelings of being overwhelmed and losing herself.  Nobody really saw her.  Well nobody but Liam. Oh Liam, this is a true man...he is fierce, he is flawed and he is the soft place for Savannah to fall when she needs him.  He too has his fears and he struggles with them just like everyone does. Thank you Piper & Rayne for writing this story, heck for this whole family!  You have really outdone yourself with the town of Lake Starlight and all of it's inhabitants.

A must read!!. I’ve been dying for Savannah and Liam’s story since book one, and these ladies did not disappoint!!! The chemistry between these two was amazing. Whether it was the banter and dirty talk, these two were amazing. I loved how they seemed to bring each other out of their shells. Liam has this side to him that will have you swooning throughout the entire book. Savannah is a strong, feisty heroine who has so much on her plate, but keeps going. I loved catching up with one of my favorite fictional families, and I can’t wait for the next book in this series!!

Liam 😍😍😍. Completely obsessed with Liam and Savannah. I was skeptical of savannah from previous books but Piper Rayne DID. NOT. DISAPPOINT!!!

Liam & Savannah. Loved to FINALLY read their story. It was great to get a look into Savannah’s character and understand why she is the way she is. Liam is such a great guy with everything he does for her and the extra bonus material at the end is great!!!

The journey to love is worth it!. I loved this book! This by far my favourite Bailey book! Thank you for weaving your magic with Savannah’s and Liam’s story. The journey and acceptance of their love for each other had me in tears. I do not think I have laughed so much or said “oh no!” Thank you for poking fun at all the stereotypes! Seriously who cares what people think- they talk no matter what! I have friends and family who have partners, boyfriends or husbands that are either younger or older than them in different generations. Seriously, if people are judging they need to build a bridge and get over it!

A Lake Starlight book worth waiting for!!!. I’ve wanted Savannah and Liam’s story ever since we met them in the first of the Bailey’s books. Time has crept along while waiting but it’s finally here and boy was it worth the wait. Savannah has been the one holding the family together, along with her older brother Austin, ever since their parents died in a car crash more than a decade ago. She’s shoved her own needs to the wayside while becoming the face of Bailey timber. Liam is Denver and Rome’s best friend, he’s also been in lust/love with Savannah since he was a teenager. He’s a lot younger than her and she’s reticent about them even hooking up, never mind anything more serious. But, Liam’s decided it’s time to bring back the old Savannah. He’s got a plan, all he needs is for her to listen and agree. It’s all fun and games until they fall. Savannah has more reservations and fights the attraction harder than Liam. but when it’s meant to be. It’s meant to be! Liam was hot, sexy with his tats and his desire to be seen. Savannah, strong-willed but sensitive underneath her armor. A great couple we’ll want to see more of, I’m sure. Next up, it’s Denver’s turn to get ‘Baileyed’ and I can’t wait.
