The Night Fire. Connelly is simply the best!
Best of the series so far. Although not the best of his books it was the best of this series a little to contrite.

Too much scatalogical language. F’ing and blinding for the vocabulary impaired- the writing otherwise is great. What a shame!
Excellent book.. This is my favorite Michael Connelly book in years. This was a terrific read. I could have finished reading this book in a few days but I took my time because I loved it so much and didn’t want it to end. Both Bosch and Ballard are great in this and they make a very good team here. I like that there is more than one case being investigated. Excellent book!
Outstanding. 5 Stars. Really enjoying the Ballard books. I really need to get further into the early Bosch stuff. I think I’m only 5 or 6 in. Connelly is outstanding. I loved the way he wove the stories together for this one. Both were great mysteries. I have a lot of catching up to do with his catalog.
The Night Fire. It seems superfluous to describe a Michael Connelly book as one great read. The master has published, therefore the reader reaps the reward. This one deserves more than only five stars.
Ballard & Bosch Do It Again. As someone who has read every single one of Michael Connelly’s books, I really love how many cases and people this one covered. Ballard already feels like a character that I’ve been reading about for years even though this is only her third book. She fits so well with Harry and Mickey and Michael does a tremendous job with the character development. The Night Fire ranks right up there with Connelly’s best.

The night fire. Excellent. Although I am stressed to see Harry getting old and written out of the story. I aged right along with Harry as I read his stories. So, I also, must be getting old.
One of his Best. I read every Connelly book...the minute they come out. As usual, he features sophisticated plot, and this book was no different. I kept me reading, finishing it faster than I wanted. There is constant action, and best of all he succeeds where lazy detectives flailed and ignore him on a case be ends up solving. Great fun read. Go for it!

Delightful. I surmise that, like me, many of you read several series like the Bosch series. Whether it be Child or Flynn, they have all provided enjoyment. Through the years I have found that the Bosch series continue to thrive and delight its readers while the others have become formulaic and boring. Mr Connelly provides interesting story lines and full character development. Still a joy to read.

Just when I thought crusty old detective Harry was out the game, Connelly puts heavy hitter Ballard in the game and successfully refreshes the series. Excellent!

The Night Fire. I have long loved the Harry Bosch novels. This one did not disappoint. Harry Bosch is a very real character; he ages, he makes mistakes, gets embarrassed. I really appreciate that. The stories of the cases are always interesting. I will keep reading.

Great Story Lines. Several intriguing cases going on at the same time. Great connection between Bosch and Renee’. They work together and independent. Have read several Bosch detective stories and they don’t disappoint. A MUST READ.
