A Riveting & Heartfelt Story! Brilliant Listen🎧📚🎧. I loved this book, it is a beautiful written story of two people who suffered from tragedy and loss. Malik was on a mission with other members of Jameson Force Security, it was supposed to be an in and out rescue mission but things went bad when they were ambushed from behind, two members of his team were killed and he was taken hostage, held for five months in an hole in the ground somewhere in a Syrian desert. He was tortured and was not sure what his future held, he was doubtful he even had one. Jameson Force Security lead by Kynan, did not give up on finding him, it took them months to locate him but they did and the team went in and rescued Malik. Kynan, one of my favorite characters in this series, looks out for his men, he wanted to make sure Malik got the help he needed not allowing him to go back to full duty until he was cleared. Anna Tate’s life was forever changed, she lost her husband and gave birth to his daughter several months after the loss, a bittersweet moment for her. She is learning how to live again, she is now working at Jameson Force Security and coming to terms with being a single mom. She was happy to hear that Malik was rescued, she only met him briefly before he left on the mission so she was not expecting to feel such a strong connection to him as she did. I felt the two were perfect for each other and together. Two wounded souls with broken hearts, hers for losing her husband his for the guilt he felt for the failed mission. I love how their story played out, it is beautiful plotted with plenty of drama, a bit of angst, many heart filling emotions and the start of a wonderful romance. Sawyer Bennett did a great job covering survivor’s guilt and PTSD. I loved how realistic and relatable the characters are, it is easy to see and understand what they are going thru. Also loved Malik’s connection to Cold Fury Hockey. Thank you for another awesome book, I know I said it before but this is definitely one of my favorites of yours, one of many. I listened to the audiobook edition, Aaron Shedlock and Virgin’a Rose are talented narrator and versatile voice artists. They bring the characters to life naturally and with ease, giving each their own voice. They do an awesome job portraying each characters, I loved Aaron’s Malik, he captured his true persona and sounded just as I pictured him to sound. His Kynan was perfection too, great job with the British accent. Virginia’s Anna was spot on too. Both are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen🎧

Great new series. Code Name: Genesis is the first book in Sawyer Bennett’s all new Jameson Force Security series. This is Kynan and Joslyns story. We met Kynan in Bennett’s Wicked Horse series and now we are finally getting his story!! A decade ago Joslyn broke Kynans heart when she left him to pursue her career. Now she is back with a stalker after her. Kynan reluctantly agreed to help her but still hasn’t forgiven what she did. What happens when he finds out the real reason she left? With a stalker on her trail will Kynan be able to keep her safe or will he lose her again? I really enjoyed this book and can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

Between three and four stars.. Good characters and story. Sex scene were a bit too S&M for me. But maybe that’s just personal.

Great read!. I have been anxiously awaiting Kynan McGrath’s book and it’s finally here! It was everything I had hoped for. The characters are amazing and you get a glimpse of who future main characters in the series will be and I can’t wait for them. The intrigue is and story line keep you on the edge of your seat. And the sexy times are hot! This is an amazing standalone spin off of the Wickex Horse Las Vegas series.

Code name genesis. Kynan was introduced in the wicked series and I could not wait to read his story. However it fell a little flat for me. It was still a good read and decent book but nothing like the wild man in wicked that scenes with his friend Jericho and his girlfriend.

Dynamic chemistry and emotions. What do you do when your former love appears in your life twelve years later and needs your protection? Do you punish her? Do you forgive her? Or do you say sayonara? Kynan and Joslyn are a dynamic pair with a lot of chemistry and emotions. With this being book one in a new series, I find myself wondering about all of the other characters that were introduced and will be introduced. Cruce and Saint, Bebe, and lets not forget Malik Fournier. Fabulous way to cross over two different series and I look forward to more about him. Kudos Ms Bennett for kicking this series off with an explosive story with lots of excitement, intrigue and of course love.

a great romantic suspense. This fast-paced book will keep you on your toes! In the past, I have only read this author’s sport romances so I went into this book not sure how I’d feel. Let’s just say Sawyer Bennett can write a great romantic suspense! Kynan cannot help but let his protective instincts take over when the girl who broke his heart 12 years ago approaches him for help. He is a sexy, strong, clever character that you cannot help, but love. Joslyn is no wilting flower as you will see throughout the book even though I wanted to shake some sense into her as she pulls something very bone-headed. Even though things ended horribly between them, she trusts only him to keep her safe as she battles with a stalker intent on destroying her. They were so young when they met and things were not always as they seemed back then, but the intense chemistry between them is still there and it is clear that they never stopped loving each other. There is a good deal of suspense and action which kept me entertained until the very end. Code Name: Genesis is a great first installment to what is sure to be an entertaining series.

Kynan spent a decade trying to forget Joslyn. When she calls asking for assistance, he declines. Turns out, he’s still angry and doesn’t want anything to do with her. Joslyn, understanding his reluctance to take her case, pleads with Kynan until he finally relents. Just because Kynan’s taking her stalking case, doesn’t mean he wants anything to do with her. When I started reading this novel, I wanted to slap Kynan across the face for the way he treated Joslyn. He was extremely unlikeable! Kynan had so much anger towards Joslyn, I wasn’t sure Sawyer Bennett could make him likable, much less lovable. BUT I was sooo wrong! I loved Kynan! He was supportive, loving, and heroic. He was the ultimate “White Knight”! Joslyn started off meek and mild, as she should due to her stalker. BUT she turned into such a strong, powerful, empowering woman. I couldn’t put the book down and read it in one sitting. The twists and turns left me guessing until the very end! I can’t wait to read the rest of the series! I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

Very Good!!. 4.5☆ I really enjoyed Code Name: Genesis. Joslyn and Kynan are interesting characters and I've been curious as to what happened to them in the past 12 years. They've always had a strong connection and that's still the case in this book. I also enjoyed the storyline; it kept me interested and wanting to know how it was going to end. The side characters were good additions and I'm hoping for more from them in the future, especially a certain brother to some hockey players.

I was really sucked into this story from the first chapter and read it all in one sitting – I had to finish it as soon as I started reading! Kynan and Joslyn were in love over ten years ago and thought each other was their true love, but after a misunderstanding, Joslyn runs to launch her career, leaving Kynan in the dust. Fast-forward to 12 years later and Joslyn runs to Kynan’s security business after she was attacked and almost killed by a stalker. While Kynan is initially not interested in helping her because of his feelings attached to their previous relationship, as soon as he sees her and the bruises around her neck, all his feelings come rushing back and vows to do protect her while taking her stalker down. Like most first books in a series, a portion of the book is introducing us to the other characters that will fill the next books within the series, but I found that I was excited to get to know who we would see in the future. The flow of this book was great, and the climactic moment was so big I was on the edge of my seat anticipating what happens when Joslyn’s stalker gets to her. Overall, it was a great book, which I totally expected from Sawyer, and I can’t wait for the next installment in this series. I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

A great read. Such a great story of love lost and rekindled. A little scary, a lot swoony! Don’t pass this one up.

Sooooo close, and yet. Thoroughly enjoyed this book except that our hero’s line of work doesn’t (IMO) mesh with the HEA plans the he and the lady have. I’m happily moving on to the next book, but with questions and doubts in my mind.

Story Time. Needed a good romance to chase away the boredom of the holidays, this did the job perfectly. Sets up for the full series without being obnoxious about it. The romance is a good balance between angsty/cute/steamy. Overall 5 stars!

Action packed romantic suspense. This book was SO freaking good! Kynan McGrath is the new owner of Jameson Force Security. Joslyn Meyers is an actress/singer who is being stalked and needs security. The only problem is that these two have a messy past. They were once in love, until something went wrong and they went their separate ways. Initially, Kynan doesn’t want to have anything to do with her. But he relents and decides to not only protect her, but figure out who is harassing her. This story was very well written and full of drama, action and suspense. I devoured it pretty quickly because I always wanted to know what was next. Code Name: Genesis is the perfect start to a new series. I’m hoping all the books that follow are just as wonderful. I love mixing suspense with my romance.

Fantastic romance suspense. Squeez!! This is my jam all the way! A new series, terrific writing, fabulous characters, a dangerous mission and a steamy romance. Everything I've come to expect from this amazing author and her wonderful storytelling. The owner of the new group, Jameson Force Security is Kynan, a hunky Brit with a sexy accent, a dominant personality and killer skills. His first mission is keeping a former flame alive and try to avoid left over feelings. Not happening when the former flame is a beauty and his only love. Joslyn left Kynan based on bad information but she trusts him to save her from a devious stalker out to kill her. She's also never gotten over Kynan. They're a sexy couple with real feelings. In the midst of his mission Kynan is also setting up a new office and hiring personnel for his new group. Great secondary characters in this story especially the super hacker, Bebe. Exciting action that takes the reader on a thrill ride while trying to catch a dangerous killer that challenges the JFS group. Not to be overlooked is the sizzling romance between Kynan and Joslyn. A fantastic romance suspense! I voluntarily reviewed an ARC.

Easy to Fall in Love Again. We first met Kynan and Joslyn in Wicked Force and Genesis picks up 12 years after Wicked Force ends. I'm not going to lie, Kynan was an a-hole when Genesis first started and I would have liked to have seen that behavior hang around for a few more chapters, but when faced with your first and only love it's hard to stay mad and not give into the feelings that simmer below the surface. I like Joslyn and Kynan's relationship, the seamless introduction to future characters ( Fingers crossed for Bebe's book), and the drama in the form of a psycho. Wonderful start to a new series and a suspense book that holds it in own in the genre. **ARC provided for an honest review**

Kynan’s Story At Last!. I have been waiting for Kynan's story since first meeting him in the Wicked Horse Vegas series. He's always been a mystery, so I was eager to understand this sexy Brit. This series is a spin off of the Wicked Horse Vegas series, but you don't need to read it or the crossover prequel novella Wicked Force to enjoy this book. I am a huge fan of second chance romances, and Kynan and Joslyn's story of young love gone wrong was right up my alley. The suspenseful elements kept the story moving and I loved getting to meet this new cast of characters. Kynan is 100% alpha male and though I wanted to throat punch him a time or two in the beginning, once he opens his heart again, he goes all in. I liked that Joslyn was a fighter and didn't just act like a damsel in distress the entire book. She certainly makes some mistakes, but she really shows her strength in the end. As much as I loved Kynan and Joslyn together, it took me a bit to really believe that their limited time together 12 years ago could stand the test of time. They certainly have chemistry though and once they reconnect, the sparks really fly! This was a great start to the series and I enjoyed the action as well as the romance. I'm excited to meet the rest of Jameson Force Security! 3.5 - 4 stars *I voluntarily read an advance reader copy of this book*

Genisis. This book should have been rated R. Did not need all the explicit love scenes and definitely not the f... word in every sentence. After I glossed over the worst the book was about 3 chapters long. Clean your next one up .

Awesome new series!!. Awesome kickoff to this new series by Sawyer Bennett! I am 100% satisfied as I always seem to be after one of her books! I have been anxiously awaiting Kynan's story and only fell in love with him more at the turn of each page! Kynan has not seen Joslyn for a dozen years since she left, breaking his heart in the process. He has never let himself be that vulnerable with a woman since. But when Joslyn is in trouble Kynan is the only one she trusts to help her so she reaches out to him. Her safety becomes his number one priority. Clearly they still care for each other, but they have both changed so much. Only time will tell if that chemistry and attraction is enough to cut through the hurt and maybe find a future together and the love they once had for each other. I loved this book! Can't wait for more!

Love second time around. Code Name: Genesis is a romantic suspense story. Kynan and Joslyn both met when she was a 19 year old up and coming star and he was on her security detail. They fell in love but parted on bad terms. Twelve years, Kynan is hired again for her protection, they pick up where they left off. The story is fast moving and steamy. This second chance has a very satisfying conclusion. This book is the first in the new Jameson Force Security and can be read as a stand-alone. A review copy was received for a honest opinion.

Danger & Desire!. This was an adrenaline rush filled with intrigue, danger, desire and love, that captured my attention from the beginning till the end. I have been waiting for the conclusion to Kyan McGrath and Joslyn Meyers’ story and this did not disappoint. A absolute fantastic start to a new series. Twelve years ago they fell in love when he was her bodyguard. Now Joslyn needs his help to protect her from a stalker, but at first Kyan doesn’t want to help. But he is all in, once he finds out that the stalker almost killed her the night before. The chemistry between these two explodes off the page, as they try to lure the stalker in to try and catch him. But this stalker is relentless and clever with every move he makes. A thrilling and sexy ride you don’t want to miss. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Second Chance!. Possible spoilers toward the end. I was so excited to get more romantic suspense from Sawyer Bennett and this book was not a disappointment. I alternately wanted to punch and hug Kynan, but I loved the way it all came together. What I love romance novels and a good alpha protector. What I loved most about this book was the message: You can do it by yourself. When Joslyn had her dream, I almost lost it. I truly believe we’re all looking for that person who is going to support and enable us to achieve anything we pursue.

Code Name: Genesis is the continuation of Kynan and Joslyn's story. This story had lots of angst to it and was interesting to see, and have confirmed, what had happened to cause the split between Kynan and Joslyn. I am glad these two got their HEA with each other. Code Name: Genesis is the first book in the Jameson Force Security series by Sawyer Bennett which can be read as a standalone or as the first novel in the Jameson Force Security series and is written from the point of view of Kynan and Joslyn. I recommend this novel and give Code Name: Genesis 4 stars.

I liked this book to begin with. I really liked this book when I first started, but it struggled to keep my attention as I read further. I was annoyed at the male leads lack of communication regarding unprotected s*x. Just because he wanted to didn’t mean it was the right thing, it was so disappointing to read in a novel from the 21st century. I also found it grating that even though the female lead got herself free she was still grateful that ‘he told her to’, come on! She can take credit for her own actions for heavens sake. Quite frustrating to be honest, and the ending was rushed but I was glad to be finished with it.

Fantastic read. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I am already anticipating the rest of this series. The Jameson Force Security team is made up of a group of people with a very specific set of skills. All with their own unique backstory and character flaws. Code Name: Genesis sees a broken relationship get a second chance, wires uncrossed and truths confessed whilst circumnavigating a crazy guy. An exceedingly busy story that is well devised and succinctly executed.

Suspenseful Romance. I loved the suspense romance and action of this book and how each character became involved. Entertaining and well written.

Epic start. Wow what an epic start to a new series! Completely devoured this book, the second chance trope isn’t normally my favourite but this was so well done. I loved the Evolution of Kynan and Jos’ love story. Cannot wait for more in this series!

Missing something. I like the author. I like the writing style. I like the character development and chemistry. I even liked the general storyline and if I hadn’t of encountered Kyan at the Wicked Horse I would have been happy . But I did and I’m not. I’m not satisfied. I feel short changed. The Kyan at the wicked horse is a completely different character to the Kyan in this book and that’s not right, he can’t just suddenly switch that off and go vanilla. I feel a real dimension of this character was missed.

Great start to a new series. I have been intrigued by Kynan since he was first mentioned in the Wicked Horse Vegas series and was excited to read the beginning of his and Joslyn’s story in Wicked Force. Code Name: Genesis picks up many years after Kynan McGrath and Joslyn Meyers first met and fell in love. However outside forces managed to keep them apart and thanks to lies and treachery they parted ways. When fate brings them back into one another lives, will the connection and love they once shared still be felt? Kynan cannot help himself when Joslyn comes to him afraid for her safety and he is drawn back in as though the 10 years have never been. As the danger continues to escalate, can Kynan find out who is behind it and in turn save the women he still loves or will all be lost? This book was well written, exciting to read, emotional and at times intense as Kynan and Joslyn struggle not only with their past but with the danger that has become apart of their lives. I really loved these characters and was captivated as Sawyer Bennett wove her story; in fact I was glued to the book from start to finish and I didn’t want it to end. 

Wow .....great start to a new series. We first meet Kynan McGrath in the Wicked Horse Series and I was so excited to see he has finally got his own book and HEA. Code Name: Genesis is book one in the new Jameson Force Security Series and if this book is anything to go by this is going to be another hit for the very talented Sawyer Bennett. This story is everything you would expect in a great read and it certainly ticked all my boxes. If you love a good suspense romance this should certainly be a must read for you but it doesn’t end there this book will appeal to second chance romance lovers as well. Kynan is a swoon worthy hero ho stole my heart and I’m really not sure I will ever get it back, Jos is the girl that walked away from him all those years ago and now she needs his protection but is protection the only thing on the cards when they find themselves living under the same roof ......... I loved all the characters in this book and can’t wait for the guys and gals from Jameson Force to get their own stories, this was a book that captivated me from the first page to the very last line and I’m sure if you one click you will feel the same. A brilliant start to a new series.

Great Read. I have been looking forward to reading this since we first met this couple in Wicked Force. I would say that while Wicked Force is about this couple’s relationship before they broke up (this book is 12 years later), it does not have to be read as a prequel to this book which can easily be read on a stand alone basis. This was an enjoyable read. The suspense element was great and kept me on my toes throughout, it was also a real seamless way of introducing the other characters from Jameson Force Security. This is also a second chance romance and while I liked both Kenyan and Joselyn, I didn’t quite connect to their chemistry like I did in their first book. I think for me, the relationship side of things just moved a little to quick for my taste. That said, when they were together, they were smoking hot. I did enjoy this book and I have to say I am very much looking forward to the next in the series. I was provided with a copy of this book from the Publisher; there was no inducement or obligation and I opted to leave a review.

A full five star read. Oh wow! Second chance romance that had me willing both of these misunderstood stubborn souls to just drop the facade and go for it. I read the prequel to the story in the Kristen Proby Crossover series Wicked Force, which saw their relationship bloom from nothing. 12 years later and Kynan is tasked with protecting Joslyn from a dangerous stalker. Action, romance and suspense with the chemistry I’ve come to expect from two characters written by Sawyer Bennett. A great story, great characters and perfect writing.
