Ask Again, Yes. I really liked this book. The characters were well developed and likable. The plot was believable and complex enough to keep my interest in how the story would resolve itself. I felt it was well thought out and very satisfying. I would read another book by this author.

Ask Again, Yes. Loved this book! Every character was believable. The span of time worked very well. This book tugs at your heart and keeps you engaged from start to finish.

2.5 stars. The prologue brought me into this book because that was interesting but the rest of the book did drag on and on. The message that the book gives is great. Forgiveness. Growth. I believe there should have been more memorable moments in the book. Memorable moments is what this book is lacking.

Could not put it down. Kept reading it, and when the iPad needed charging I kept reading in the phone, made my coffee while reading….. I was hooked

Boring. It just goes on, and on...and on. Just when I think it’s going to get exciting it becomes boring again. I think Jimmy Fallon is the only reason why anyone decided to read it.

Ask Again, Yes. For me it was depressing. It did end with hope.

Completely accurate character development. The author understood what is like to be family member of someone in law-enforcement. There were times that I felt I was reading about my own life and identified with Kate so much. The author also understood mental health issues. This was an excellent read but a bit emotional. I was grateful that she ended it in the positive because as many difficulties as we have in our lives, we can look back and realize difficulties don’t change who we are.

Unputdownable. This story was immediately engaging, and accurately highlighted struggles in life including mental illness, alcoholism, devotion, and forgiveness. I am really looking forward to Keane’s next novel. She is a brilliant writer.

Beautiful story. A real pleasure. Couldn’t put it down.
