The Perfect Block. Because of the first in the series being so interesting, I listened to the second one which also did not disappoint.

Captivating. I didn’t know what to expect from his novel as it was free, thus anticipating a not so good read. However, I couldn’t put it down! Started out slowly building the storyline and although I was forming my own suspicions about characters the twist this novel took actually had me stunned. Great read and can’t wait to read book #2! I love a series!! Captivating author with much talent!

The Perfect Wife. I’m in complete agreement to the review that questioned if any one proof reads anymore. This is not the first nor I suspect the last “e-book” that has many typos. Sadly, it is a sign of the times. Now for my book review. The beginning was a bit slow and I put the story down more than a few times before the “plot” started to thicken. After that I thoroughly enjoyed the book. I look forward to reading more in the series.

Good follow up.. I like a lot of Blake Pierce’s and was considering buying the third in this series. The However, after reading the reviews, I’m gonna pass. While it’s great the author puts of the first one or two in a series free, I can’t seeing paying anything when there’s no proof-reading and editing! I’ve yet to find a book by this author that doesn’t have typos, miss spellings and the like. Fix your work if you want to people to pay for it. Be proud of it and maybe we’ll buy more of your books. Error I caught: Kat is referred to as Kate.

Ok reading but…. So many grammatical mistakes: was this ever proofread? A glaring issue for example was the friend’s name: ‘Lacey’ in book 1, ‘Lacy’ in book 2.

Does anyone proofread???. This book series has so many typos it’s embarrassing for the author and editor. I’m on book 3 and they are still all over the place. This will be my last one I read.

Not Worth 3 .99. I like the first book better.. The second book didn’t really go anywhere. I’m tired of them making Jessica alway week. A lot of errors and mistakes. Some of the words don’t make any sense. This will be my end for me .!

Similar to book one.. There are too many spelling mistakes, missing words and grammatical errors. The proof reader (if there was one?) needs to be replaced.

A gripping tale. Fast paced and many interesting characters

Great series, however editing leaves a lot to be desired. Enjoying this series a lot but a bit put off of buying further books due to the poor editing which makes the author/books hard to take seriously! So many spelling/grammatical/repeated word errors that it takes a lot away from the story... not the only Blake Pierce books I have read with similar issues either 🤷🏽‍♀️

Edge of the seat stuff!!. The female protaganist is clever but can be stupid at times, particularly when she takes unnecessary risks. The plot is interesting and it keeps me turning the pages. A recommended read, and I am intrigued enough to read the next book in the series.

Gripping. Well written. So loved these first two books. They are very well written. You don’t want to put the book down. The characters are believable and you really get a feel for them.

4.5*. More of what I’ve come to expect and enjoy. A quick and easy read. Best not to think too much about the plot. It’s a good story but some people are just so... unlucky? Recommended.
