Rocking!!. Definitely a different twist and not the story I was expecting. Love the sexy sweet main character and the lovable sweet genius. Couldn’t put the book down last night!! Can’t wait to read the rest of the series!!!

Not worth the time. Weird story that lacks a decent ending and interesting characters. There are two follow-up books that complete the storyline. But the characters continue to be uninteresting and the plot never flows.

Plotless. Just a thought journal

Book 1. Book one , in a series. Haley is 20, a whiz and just landed on tour with Jax, an older rock star. Not your usual rocks star genre and its brilliant and deep.

It was okay. It was an okay romance between Jax, the famous musician and Haley, the college student intern who works & goes on tour with him. It had an interesting lead in from the time Haley unintentionally interrupted Jax’s recording session at the Wicked recording studio when she first came in for an intern interview. Their first meeting was an rocky start and Jax’s treatment toward Haley was not that great. He would call her ‘babysitter’ because she was told by the head of the recording company to keep an eye on him during his tour on the road. The only romantic thing he did was giving her one of his hoodie to wear when she was cold and lost her jacket. Even though it was short, it was sweet.

Phenomenal read!!. Piper Lawson does it again! She has created characters that just draw you in and make you want to be a part of their story. Haley and Jax are phenomenal and I couldn’t put any of their three books down. There is a massive cliffhanger, but Bad Girl is available now too so no waiting there!

Pretty Darn Good. I really liked this book, it had an amazing plot. I do feel that it was a bit rushed. Haley and Jax should of had a bit more build up but I am definitely going to buy and read the rest of the books in the series.

Meh. I received this book for free for an honest review. I liked the characters, but there was a little backstory missing. I wanted this to be a steamy romance, but it missed the mark. The book contains no sex. 😞

Excellent read. I loved reading Good Girl. The characters were well developed and the storyline perfectly plausible.

Read it in 1 night. I love a book with a smart, strong female character. I was able to read this in 1 night, never putting it down. Easy read but kept you wanting to know more about each character!

Confounding Read. The idea and concept of the book is good sounding, a college student working their way through schooling while getting a once in a lifetime job opporitunity of going on tour with a band, except I found the book to be dull and with no flow. I kept feeling as if I was missing something when it can to scenes or character interactions, though I appreciate the different character perspectives. The female lead Haley is admirable in her determination to attend school and work while still healing from a tragety, her quick wit and kind disposition a delight, though Haley has a stalker or obsession feel and a bit of a pushover when interacting with male characters. Jax is a protective and responsible male lead, sticking to his tour rules but also very disconnected feeling and extremley unforgiving to his female lead. Hoping that Jax matuers more as a character and conquers his inner demons. The growing romance seemed so confusing, they had complementing personalities that would be great together but the vibe was nonexistence seeming more like a lot of sexual tension. I hope the characters work their communication issues out as their relationship grows. The supporiting characters are fun and seem interesting though they didn’t have much air time their advices to the main characters were encouraging.

Sweet Rockstar romance!. Good Girl is a sweet, rockstar romance with angst, secrets, and a cliffy that will leave you wanting to know what will happen next. This is a new-to-me author, and I look forward to reading more books in the series.

Good Girl. Hate it when your left hanging! Have to buy the next book to find out what happens. Will not buy any more books by this author because of that.

Loved this. At first I was hesitant to read because I thought it wouldn’t have very much storyline to it and just be about sex some musician. I do enjoy books with extra ✨spice✨ however, I love that the characters each have developed storylines. Haley is more than just a dumb college girl, she’s actually a computer genius with her own demons. Jax is more than some meathead musician that only cares about sex. They both try for more than most of the book to actually keep their relationship on a professional level and even when they finally do kiss, it’s not just about sex. I’m very excited to start the 3rd book! I really loved the author‘s little note asking to simply leave a review so she can become a full time author, I hope you see this and this encourages you just a little 💕

Fabulous rock star romance. What do you do when you are suddenly on tour with your favorite band of all time? Haley needs an internship for school and when she goes to Wicked Records, she suddenly finds herself sent on tour to assist the sound technician and directly in Jax Jamieson’s world. Jax doesn’t know what to make of Haley, she is honest, odd and captivating. I devoured this rock ‘n roll romance, loving the connection between Haley and Jax. Jax is carrying some deep demons. Haley is coping with the loss of her mom but has an amazing strength and drive to get what she wants. I love her savvy tech skills as she works to develop a software program. What happens when the biggest secret of all is revealed? I have been totally pulled into Haley and Jax’s journey and am anxious for part 2! I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

Good Girl. Not a stand alone and I wish I had known that before I started to read it.

4stars. I’m completely irrevocably in love with this new series. Who doesn’t love a rockstar? And Jax is the ultimate rockstar. He’s everything: a little naughty, a bit of a jerk, a little arrogant and a dash of sweetness. I am also fan girling over Haley. She’s just a little bit of a nut and I love her. Can’t wait to read the next book.

Hooked!. This is the first of a three part series and I loved it. I was immediately intrigued with Jax, the hot, sensitive rocker, and Haley, the smart and reserved techie. Their story had me hooked from the start!

Good Girl is amazing!. I loved this book. I was invested in Haley’s and Jax’s story from the beginning. Haley is amazing, smart, talented and a true friend. Jax is talented, badass and caring. The way Haley and Jax meet and interact is next level spiritual. Piper Lawson writes well and she captures your attention from the opening pages. This book was a joy to read. I can’t wait to read the next book, Bad Girl. I recommend this book to other readers.

Good Girl. I enjoyed this book, I really did. What I didn’t like was that it is a cliffhanger. I would have scored it higher if it was a full length

Disappointed. This story definitely has potential but the writing was too confusing and her thought process should’ve been explored more, I couldn’t really tell what Hayley thought about a lot of things because the writing was too vague and The dialogue didn’t make sense a lot of the time and everything about jax and Hayley’s relationship felt too forced and stiff. I did like the plot but the inconsistencies and lack of description in the writing let the book down.

Buckle up and enjoy the ride. Got to say this book was a ride and a half, well worth taking! Excellent characters, plot and quirky, enthralling twists in this roller coaster of a story.

Addictive and compelling. Once I started reading Good Girl, it quickly pulled me in and I couldn’t stop reading. Believable characters, with an unexpected plot twist, can’t wait to read more, I bought the lot from the author’s web site straight away.

Just wonderful. Book 1 in this Wicked trilogy has really upped the anti for the next two book, and for rock star romances in general. I was hooked from the get-go. Wonderful characters (mainly, super sexy bad boy rock star Jax Jamieson who actually has a heart of pure gold), and the wonderful, innocent Haley Telfer, Graduate intern and super computer geek. Haley, purely by fluke (or is it), ends up touring with rock band ‘Riot Act’ assisting the ageing sound technician, Jerry (who I loved by the way). Haley attracts the attention of lead singer Jax, and not necessarily in a good way. Remember tour rule number 3 - thou shalt not fraternize with the crew or with the artists - disobey and you’ll get fired on the spot!. Let’s see how that works out shall we? Wonderful writing, fab story and a few little surprises on the way. Oh, and Hayley, I love your backbone. Not too bad of a cliffie, and not too long to wait until book 2, thank goodness. I’m so so excited to see where book 2 takes us. I received an advanced copy of this book from the author. This is my honest review.
