Quick, fun read.... I’m a fan of both authors, especially MacKinnon so I had to check this out. Thankfully, I was able to borrow it from my local library. It was a fun read, interesting, mostly fast-paced, full of sexual tension, mystery, some mythology and aquatic life. If you enjoy slow-burn RH and intriguing, paranormal reads, I expect you’d enjoy this one. May not read on in this series, as I feel I’ve got the gist of it from this installment. But an enjoyable enough listen to keep me company at work—no complaints. Overall, 3.5 stars. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ Audio: The narrator sounded fine—and that’s fairly high praise coming from me. I cannot listen to most people read at all. However, throughout almost the entire book, there was a bit of background noise. Sorta like lowkey static. It’s mild but … most audio productions I listen to don’t have this, so I worry that the production team could’ve done a better job for the authors & their artwork.

Deep. First, this book continues on, so no HEA, with that being said... I really liked this adventure 7 Wardens book, loved the romance and the characters and plot. I was highly disappointed in the fact that the book ended! It is a must read, now I have to be patient and wait for the next book to come out to find out what happens. Steamy Paranormal Reverse Harem. This is the first book in the Seven Wardens series and only the very beginning of a multi book series. It's a reverse harem supernatural romance. This series is filled with Scottish folklore, supernatural things like wraiths, shifters, mages, etc. You're introduced to Macey a Kelpie shifter who is on land for an adventure unfortunately her father blocked her powers and send her two older brothers with her. Her adventure begins when Camdan kidnaps her, where she then meets Flint and Jared. She learns she's one of the seven wardens, Jared, FIint and Camdan are also wardens, and they must find the other three to fulfill the Prophecy. Macey is unsure of her life and not sure what's expected of her but as she bonds with her three men you start to see a change in her. Great!. I don’t think I have ever read about kelpies - but they are awesome! Macey is a Kelpie princess who ends of accidentally/on purpose kidnapped :) Macey is a strong character. I liked that she doesn’t immediately buy into the prophecy the guys tell her, and questioned everything. The guys are great too. Each is unique and brings something to the story. I can’t wait to see what happens next :)

Incredible. Incredible start to a funny, sexy and adventurous series! I love that a glossary is given at the beginning so you know what things are as soon as you come across them in the book. I am excited to read the series as it develops.

Different. I really enjoyed how this book took aspects from Scottish mythology. The fact that the main character is a Kelpie (which I had to look up) was fascinating alone! I’m on the fence about the book because it was interesting and a good concept, I just struggled getting all the way through. I kinda wish it took a slower pace to get to know the characters a bit more. I do not regret reading it and will most likely read the next book as well!

Great. This is the first book in the Seven Wardens series. It took a few chapters to get into it but now I can’t wait to read the next one. Macey is a princess among the kelpies. She and her brothers are living on Earth. This story follows an old legend about seven wardens that must work together to save the world. Lots of action, danger and Heat among the main characters. Warden. We have Macey who was kidnapped, but yet wants all the guys. She is having a hard time believing everything that is said to her, but yet she follows along. I feel that it needed more action, more knowing about characters. I will read the rest because it is interesting and I want to see what happens. Love it!. This was a very interesting and unique read. I've never read anything with a kelpie before. The authors do a great job of creating this world and introducing everything. I love Macey, she's sassy, strong, and questions everything. Macey, Cam, Flint, and Jared are 4 of the 7 elemental wardens, i'm very interested to see where the story will go with all of them. The story moves at a good pace and i'm really excited for more.

Wardens. In the first book you meet six of the seven wardens. Macey is attacked and saved by Camden, along their travels she learns she has strong magic and is the Warden of water. There are seven wardens and they are to protect everyone. There is an evil after her and he has already kidnapped one of the seven. This started out slowly but got better as it went along, you meet a lot of new characters and learn that the path between worlds is in danger. A prophecy with intrigue and mystery surrounding it. Great magical journey. Absolutely loved this book and the start of Macey’s journey with the Wardens. Lots of new adventures, magic and love in this story filled many mythical creatures on a journey to fix the Staran and a battle against the Voice. With a side journey of finding waffles for Macey.

From The Deeps. This book keeps you turning the pages. Great characters and story. Now I’m ready for book 2.

Strong start.. This is the first book in a series and I found this a great start. Love the new take on the Nessie legend and intertwining the elements with this was fun. I found this a fun book to read.
