Enemies to Lovers - NSFW. We finally get Charlie's story - I loved her in Play although you don't need to read that to enjoy NSFW, but why miss a Piper Lawson book. She never disappoints. I never thought a uptight bossman could be so sexy, but Avery was this and so much more. He is all business and rules climbing the corporate ladder as his assistant Charlotte/Charlie pushes his buttons. She is full of pranks that keep him on his toes until he turns the tables on her. I loved the banter and sexual tension between them. Once Avery hits her with you're fired a new game begins. From boardroom to bedroom these two have you laughing, rooting, swooning and wanting more and more! I can't get enough of Piper's writing and her characters. She is definitely a must read!!!

NFSW. As with everything else I’ve read by Piper Lawson, this one is fantastic! Avery and Charlie are the perfect mix of crazy, obsessive, and perfect for each other.

NSFW. Great story! I love the plot, loved Avery and Charlie the most. I didn’t like the many grammar and occasional spelling errors. But other than that, it was still a great read. The kind that you can’t put down. Highly recommend to other readers. It’s a great romance story. Hope it gets edited better for the next reader. ❤️ it!

A really fun read!. I loved the female lead character, Charlie. She was fun and sassy, not a pushover at all. I'd love to have her as a friend. The story moved at a great pace...and the writing was excellent. I'd definitely read more of Piper's books!

Wah wah. When anything ONLY has good reviews you know something's wrong. 😒 Charlie & Avery have no chemistry. Charlie is a brat, an irresponsible worker & is surprised when she gets fired. The book just flatlined for me, I kept waiting for it to get better & didn't. The first book in this series was good though.

Ugh. Charlie changed so much! Her character development is the definition of a downgrade. I had higher hopes for this book, but that was a complete bust. The drama and climax of the story was utter trash. If you are looking for only romance and no substance this is the book for you. Ending result the book was too conventional.

5stars. This book is everything! I loved it so much. I love the characters, their chemistry, everything about them. Ava and Nate have always been my favorite couple of Piper's but I think I may love Charlie and Avery more. This book should be on your TBR list.

Loved the sass and chemistry. Great characters, good story, loved the sass, wit and chemistry between Avery & Charlie. Banking industry and the different levels of business and finance it encompasses all play a part, the author did her research well or has worked in it..... Either way, thoroughly enjoyed the book. 👍👍👍

Great Book. I haven’t read a book in about 5 years and only decided to read this as I was catching a flight- I am so happy I did! This book is so captivating and had me not being able to put it down! Definitely a must read 😊😊

I’m red and you’re yellow. This is by far one of my all time favourites. I love Charlie’s sassiness and outrageousness! She makes me smile and want to be her friend. I’m so glad that Avery is a nice person at heart, especially after seeing what he was like in PLAY. I can’t get enough of the smartass banter and extremely hot scenes, and wish the author will write a few bonus chapters. Love the angst in the story and the flawed characters, as well as the idea of finding yourself and your calling in life. I highly recommend this book. It can be read as a standalone but may benefit from reading PLAY first.

Ok read. I was kind of hoping some external influences would cause some plot and not just internal, emotional issues. I mean it wasn’t a bad story, but nothing really… happened. I realise this was a character driven narrative with all the change happening within the characters, but at the end it all felt like nothing had changed except for the fact that they were dating now. I wanted to see them working together more the accomplish things. I wanted to see them overcoming larger obstacles. Because it felt like when external problems happened one or the other already had a solution ready. Also it felt like there was no real lead up to her decision to work as a promoter at the club. The only real idea the reader got was that she worked on the gala (which seemed to take a backseat right up until it happened). But it’s not something she’s been shown to be passionate about. In fact besides shoes and wanting to make his life miserable at the beginning she really didn’t have much in the way of a tangible personality. Sure her character was developed and grew, but by the end they all still felt hollow, like there were only meant to be reader insert vessels. Don’t get me wrong I liked the book, but there were just somethings that were both to hollow and too much like real life for me to be completely immersed in the story and invested in the characters.

Loved it 😁. I enjoyed the first book but Really enjoyed this one 😁 I loved Avery and Charlotte, their story had a bit of everything and I could’ve carried on reading their story but hopefully we’ll more in the next book, I really need to read Rise now 😉 once again I so wish this author was in KU because I would love to read more of her books! Great book. I had not read book 1 in this series but I found I did not need to have done. Strong characters with a fun storyline.

A lovely, sexy, forbidden, enemies to lovers romance following Charlotte Merriweather as she relays her relationship with her boss Avery Banks, an executive banker who follows the rules and has zero sense of humour. Charlie though, is a bit of a prankster and after 2 years she's finally been caught in the act so to speak. The day that Avery fires Charlie is the day that their journey begins. It's also the day that Charlie comes into her own and faces her challenges head on. I loved Charlie, she had spark and she had sass, she didn't take any of the macho old school, man's world bull that the bank seem to live by, she fought for the women to be equal and she worked hard to ensure that all the staff were acknowledged for their successes. In fact even with her prankster ways her work ethics are impressive. I loved her. Avery is a super hot sexy alpha male, he's also the epitome of successful and professional, until he lets his feelings for Charlie take over. A completely sexy, funny and addictive read. I loved it.
