VERY DISAPPOINTED. This book starts off like you’re halfway into a story already. You’re basically given no back story on either character yet 50 pages in their having sex without exchanging names and meeting maybe 30 minutes before hand???? There’s no buildup no real romance…. It just feels all around lacking.

Col and Naomi. Overall rating: 5 It only took a hot second for me to get pulled right into this tale! Action, suspense, and oh so hot attraction between characters, this truly is a slam dunk 5 star read complete with beloved dragons! Col and Naomi truly made this an exciting start to hopefully more! Kudos to this amazing author

Great new series!. I have loved all of Ms. Shannon's books and now I am in love with the start of this new series! Col had to flee his homeland and takes a portal to earth. He had no idea where he was going at the time. All he knew was that he needed to catch two dragons that killed his entire family while they were all getting ready to leave his home. He just happens to run into his mate? Yeah and she's human. Loved their story and can't wait to see what happens next! Thanks to the author for providing me a copy of this book. Knock Down Dragon Out. I enjoyed it but was a little out there in believability. I’ve read other dragon romances that made you believe the story was possible. This one doesn’t come close. It also ended abruptly without any real closure. I did like the characters so that was a plus. It just felt like the story was missing something.

Knock Down Dragon Off. Thanks for the enjoyable shifter book. It had a couple different problems that made me laugh and woke up my dog. She isn’t used to me laughing, so she woke up barking at me.

Love!. Loved this story so much that I read it too quickly. I was not ready for it to end, but thrilled to read what’s next. Would recommend this to everyone that wants a smooth read and an entrancing story line.

Entertaining read. I really enjoyed this one. It was interesting and held my attention from beginning to end. It had plenty of action to keep me engaged as we watched these two get to know each other in the midst of everything happening. Things move quickly but it’s fated mates and Col knew from the first time he saw, as things work differently on his world. I am excited to read the next book.

Shifters and snow. An adventurous book with lots of excitement and plenty of romance. One huge dragon hell bent on revenge. He’s chasing two other dragons who are murderers. What he didn’t expect when caught them was a small human woman lying unconscious in the snow. The story brings alien shifters to Earth and they are definitely not prepared for our world or the snow of an Alaskan winter. Action, romance and some hot soulmate action. Knock down dragon out. This story I downloaded for free as the first in the series not expecting much, but it caught my attention and held on with often laugh out loud events. If your looking for a funny , witty, heartfelt book give this one a try. I know I’ll be purchasing the rest of this series

“Knock Down Dragon Out” - great read!. I was quickly pulled into this story from page one! This has a unique spin from other shifter romances I’ve read which engaged me from the start. Great characters, action, suspense, hot shifters and hotter sex scenes all make this a great read. While I admit I’d like a little fuller HEA, I hope some of that will flow through to the next shifter story in the series. I highly recommend this book.

Such a fun read!. Exactly as the title said, this book was such a fun read! I enjoyed the characters and am looking forward to seeing their stories continue! This story also had a shifter twist that I haven’t seen before. Definitely worth the download!

From refugees to family. This is such a cool story. Former enemies from rival shifter tribes find a portal to Alaska. In this book, Col the dragon shifter looks to take revenge on the rebel dragons that killed his tribe, and ends up with Naomi, a human woman with a sad past. It's a great adventure, a red-hot romance, and a fun shifter serried in the making.

Better then I thought. I would definitely like to here more of there story in the future

Loved it. Knock Down Dragon Out is the first book in the Soulmate Shifters in Mystery, Alaska series and this was just a great way to start off a new series. I was just drawn into this story with its amazing characters. I just loved getting to meet Naomi Parker and Col and see them interact with each other. It was just such a great story and I just didn’t want it to end. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

Great story. It was a lot of fun to read about Naomi and Col. This book was a perfect blend of adventure, fantasy and romance. The story is also a great reminder how love and family can help us heal.

Hot!. A great start to a new series! It starts with a dragon fight and had me enthralled from the beginning. I love it when characters who are new to earth don’t automatically know everything. Col and Naomi are fun together - there is lots and lots of hot steamy sexy scenes, action, drama, a possessive dragon protecting his mate.

A disappointing mess. The story was rushed and had no real tension, or plot things just kind of happen. Naomi accepted things too easily and quickly (despite the back and forth survivors guilt she was battling initially...? It was a little middled and confusing. And also felt like an issue she should have sought help for, should have been ENCOURAGED to seek help for). The ‘Bad Guys’ had no sense of fear. Like were we supposed to fear them and the moment they would strike? Because mostly I assumed they were going to bite it big time it was just a matter of the MCs getting their act together to get it done. Which was HELLA annoying. Also you never really learn much about Reylea or Col so why should I care at all that the world was on fire and his family had been ganked? Because I really didn’t. Also Naomi’s family was a bit blank spot and didn’t really leave a good impression overall. 10/10 would NOT recommend. This book needs some serious review and editing.

Knock down dragon out. Krystal Shannan has done it again. I love this new series set in Alaska. Col and Naomi’s story was just so good. A beautiful and funny love story and I can’t wait to see how they continue on with the other characters in the coming books of this series.

Naomi and Col. The last thing Naomi expects to see while she is photographing wildlife is a pair of dragons. Little does she realise how much her life is about to change. This is a great start to a new series and I look forward to seeing how the new residents adapt to living with humans and how the locals cope with the shifters.

Good book. I feel like this book was rushed in parts plot line was alright I feel it was hurried I didn’t get a good description or feel for the Characters until the end of the book. I am enjoying her second book though

Good romantic suspense combining the Primitive and the Modern. Knock Down Dragon Out by Krystal Shannan is Book 1 in The Soulmate Shifters in Mystery, Alaska series. It’s a new Paranormal Romance suspense series by Krystal in which she creates a new world for her characters to roam in. This book provides a sound introduction to that world where she manages to create a great balance between the Primitive (Col’s world) and the Modern Naomi’s world). I have read most things by this author and have enjoyed the stories she has created and this new series is bound to be another one to look forward to as it is filled with intrigue and amusing story telling. Sexy paranormal series: Good concept and a fun read, but the frustratingly ridiculous behaviour of the girl running outside into mega danger for no good reason, plus a big storyline flaw bring the score for this book down. Dragon shifter Col escapes his burning world through a portal while chasing two dragons who murdered his family. There he saves a human woman who is his mate. Other hunky types of shifter from the various tribes also escaped through the portal before it closed, and they are confused by the snow covered terrain of Alaska, human behaviour and human technology. Col’s mate turns into a dragon shifter from his bite.

Knock the dragon out. Great read and enjoyable. Characters were great and fun to read. Recommend this book
