A war that will force her to make an impossible choice, thanks to the magic tied to her bloodline—magic that could save the entire human world, or potentially unleash a monstrous force unlike anything it’s ever seen.

Missing information. There are some grammatical and punctuation errors but overall a good storyline. I had some issues with missing information. Like Kael masquerading as a werewolf we later find out who his father is but no one brings up the fact that they think he is a werewolf not a lycan. Same for Alex’s sister. They are worried for her health at the end of the book, she takes off and badly hurts the doctors but no one says anything about her being turned even though her behavior has done a 180 and she is really strong? Just a couple things that I feel should have been clarified a little better.

Good. This is actually interesting
On the fence. Intersting plot, but I found the irrational actions of the main character (and some of the other higher-up people) to be more bothersome than exciting. Anger seemed to be central to this book and it made it hard to read in long sittings. In saying that, I would recommend this read if you’re looking for a new type of fantasy book. I’m definitely going to try the next one in the series.
