Beautiful story. I enjoyed this book very much. True love happens a lot. It happened to me 63 years ago. I met my husband in San Diego where he was stationed on the USS Ajax. I believe it was love at first sight. We were together over 57 years. I lost him 5 years ago.

Mine, All Mine!- (series Fated for Love, book 1. I think this was the 1st book I’ve read by this author (never quite sure since I’ve read so many books for so many yrs covering several genres🤓)— & I’m glad I gave her a try. I love historical romances & this one didn’t disappoint. It is well-paced, with like able characters, some intrigue, & some sex (I’m well into middle age & squeaky clean doesn’t hold as much appeal as it once did😘). I read this book in less than a day, & am definitely purchasing the next one in this series

Cute Story. A quick and enjoyable read

.. The plot felt rushed in some of the more important parts of the story. Also, Dominic’s character was all over the place. One moment noble and honorable, and the next weirdly possessive and almost rapey. I like a dominant leading man, but there were a few times the character just felt icky. There were some interesting seeds throughout the story line that made me interested in a few other characters and their stories though. All in all, not a horrible read, but definitely a story that could have used more patience and attention to character traits.

Mine All Mine. Dayna Quince Y. Mine All Mine 2/10 Free iBook. Regency. A light read with sexy scenes. Lilly is the daughter of a Duke, but her mother remarried a wealthy commoner who turned out to have a black heart and dubious business practices. Her mother died in suspicious circumstances soon after, and her step father was denounced as a traitor, leaving Lilly rejected by society. She goes into hiding as a kitchen hand, and the master of the house, an Earl, tries repeatedly to seduce her. What I didn’t like was that somehow she thinks he is a good guy despite him repeatedly pushing himself onto her - an employee who keeps saying no, and who, if the dalliance is discovered, could lose her reputation, reduce her marriageability, be dismissed from her job and end up pregnant and on the street. Then, when he realises she is nobility he is sorry!!! Argh. So it’s okay force yourself onto your staff and ruin their lives. And she thinks he is a good person and wants to marry him! This kind of story perpetuates rape culture in our world today, and glamourises the belief that repeatedly molesting a girl who says no is not only morally okay, but a guy who does this is seen as virile and “romantic”.

Yikes. Bad plot and questionable romance. There was NO set up so everything just sort of… happened. It was messy and hard to follow and then they just sort of started kissing. Also it wasn’t all that good of a plan on her part in the beginning. There was mention of a disguise but it was never explained (I assumed it was just a change in the type of clothing). Also they said it was reason but never explained. The big bad didn’t even show up until the end and then was just beaten easily. This was just a steaming pile of nonsense. Also the ending was abrupt with no follow through on all the plot threads being solved like the “aunt” or her mother’s obvious murder. I could go on… It was an interesting concept, but I hate how this story (like so many others) depict female characters as a slave to their hormones, like they live as slaves to their libido when in reality that’s not true. I’m sick of reading about women who say no and then jump the guys bones and then get all huffy like it was his fault for inciting her base urges when she’s the one who had the control in the first place. Same goes for the reverse when the guy blames the girl for being attractive to him. It’s old and getting older by the day. If you can’t think of another way besides alcohol or unconquerable hormones to get your two leads together then they SHOULDN’T BE TOGETHER!
