😖. The story and the characters were not developed at all, it just didn't pull you in. It was disappointing. The main female character was meant to be a strong female but she just ended up being obnoxious and loud, I really don't get why any author would think that a female character in order to be strong has to be so annoying and loud, oh and has to act like she hates men, as a woman I find that a bit offensive. The book was just not worth it.
The Marquess. Captivating story line! A hero in the true sense and a delightful quirky heroine! Great read! Loads of adventure!!

Delightful. Patricia Rice has a true gem in The Marquess. The characters are beautifully written and easy to love, or hate. The plot brings laughter, groans, sighs, tears, and undying enjoyment. I loved every word and highly recommend it.

The Marquess. The Marquess by Ms. Rice was an adventure, mystery, and love story all rolled into one. I found this book a page turner, in that the main characters came to life as you read. You could just see the awesome Marquess and his little shrew coming together to solve the mystery! A wonderful book to read on a rainy day!
