“LOVE LIKE THIS creates a world of emotions and turmoil, describing superbly the mind of a young lady (Keira) and her struggles to balance her social life and her career. Sophie Love is a natural storyteller. LOVE LIKE THIS is very well written and edited, and I highly recommend it to the permanent library of all readers that appreciate a romance that can be savored during a weekend.”

“A very well written novel, describing the struggle of a woman to find her true identity. The author did an amazing job with the creation of the characters and her description of the environment. The romance is there, but not overdosed. Kudos to the author for this amazing start of a series that promises to be very entertaining.”

LOVE LIKE THIS (The Romance Chronicles—Book #1) is the debut of a new romance series by #1 bestselling author Sophie Love.

Keira Swanson, 28, lands her dream job at Viatorum, a slick magazine in New York City, as an aspiring travel writer. But their culture is brutal, her boss is a monster, and she doesn’t know if she can last for long.

That changes when Keira, by a fluke, is handed a coveted assignment and given her big chance: to travel to Ireland for 30 days, witness the legendary Lisdoonvarna festival of love, and to debunk the myth that true love exists. Keira, cynical herself and in a rocky place with her long-term boyfriend, is all too happy to oblige.

But when Keira falls in love with Ireland and meets her Irish tour guide, who just may be the man of her dreams, she is no longer sure of anything.

A whirlwind romantic comedy that is as profound as it is funny, LOVE LIKE THIS is book #1 in the debut of a dazzling new romance series that will make you laugh, cry, and will keep you turning pages late into the night—and will make you fall in love with romance all over again.

Good. Ok I love this book but will not read the rest of the series..because I think it’s so dumb that she doesn’t stay in Ireland goes off to other countries and falls in love with other guys! Like what the heck was the author thinking...?!? Poor Shane. I’m so disappointed..

Ok then just me

Love Like This. Enjoyed reading this captivating book. Keep them coming!!

Eh. This character was so immature, hopping from man-to-man falling in love so easily then moving in in an instant, come on let’s have a little reality. Sorry to admit I fell into the by the next book by the next book well I stopped at three I’m not wasting anymore of my money

Kitty Swagger

Not worth it. Cute love story. Ends with the girl getting the sweet guy. That she dumps in the next book (won’t read it). Then in the next she dumps the new boyfriend. (won’t be reading that book either). This character is clueless. And flaky. No thanks. Deleted the download so I don’t even have to look at it again.

Love like This. I hated this book when I first started reading. I almost deleted it. I detested Kiera’s personality, she seemed very self centered. I really liked the cover so I pushed threw. I’m glad that I did. I liked the complete 180’ in Kiera’s attitude and she became human. The story made me want to see the different shades of green, the cliffs, and even the smelly sheep. The author helped me see the beauty of Ireland threw her writing. If you push threw the beginning you will enjoy the read.

SpazztasticHobo

Vapid telling of what could have been a great story.. Keira’s character is as shallow as a shower. Absolutely no depth as a person at all, only a feeble attempt to make her seem more realistic that just didn’t do it for me. The only good thing about this story was the (spoiler ahead, read at your own discretion) fact she left to go back to New York because that’s what a sane person would do in this situation. Those stories where women toss their past lives into the wind are ridiculous, so I give the authors props for pushing through with something less expected. Otherwise, I wouldn’t recommend this book. I felt physically ill reading it.

Tney

Horrible. Just awful. Reminded me of a high school student trying to write a romance novel for an english assignment. Juvenile and stupid. I couldn’t get past the second chapter.

Brennalover21

amazing book. I absolutely LOVE this book!!!🥺 It showed what true love really was and the adventures of two people who fell in love

VaKatie

No ending, just a pause in continuing books you have to buy !. My bad! I did not realize that this book was not a complete story. It seems that the main character just goes from country to country, falling in “love” with her tour guides in subsequent books! I was so disappointed at the ending of first book, I have no desire to read three more books to see what happens to Keira. I love book series that are stand alone stories, yet weave characters from past stories into current books...but having the same character, book after book, falling in “love” with a different character, or even book after book with same characters who never seem to get their happy ending in one book, gets boring really fast!

NewEarthorBust

4 stars. Fun, inspiring love story.

Melodone

Now I’m a hopeless romantic!. I loved every part of this novel, although some might think it’s a bit typical but I’ve got to say the author really knew how to keep the plot interesting while satisfying the romance part that I crave. I absolutely loved it!

Liz674532

Don’t bother. It is very rare for me to leave a book in the middle, but I couldn’t finish this one. There was absolutely no character development, nothing to get you invested in caring about them. The premise of the story was it’s only positive quality.

Dr Trivedi

Love like this. In the backdrop of Ireland , this love story had its ups and down, but through out interesting.

Gmapavjla

Love Like This. This was a great story. From beginning to end. I couldn’t put the book down. Interesting characters with a great location for them. I felt like I wanted to be there with them. Thanks for bringing me into your world of writing.

Enchanting. A sweet romance book that began eerily similar to a movie about an American visiting Ireland. And yet, the storyline semi-classic, I felt myself embracing each page of the story and happened to finish the book in less than 2 days. A lovely read and perfect for anyone looking for romances without explicit sexual reads.

honestly... it was better than i thought. at first i wasn’t too sure about this book but then i kept reading and it ended up being so good i loved it!

Bec.OinTX

Love like this. This story line was great and held my interest to the very last page.

Loved it. Un expecting plot twists, fun read.

Disappointing to say the least. In total this book is a distressing portrayal of characters lacking depth couched in an unrealistic modern fairytale format. While perhaps intending to be a celebration of love in spite of cynicism the book instead oozes melodramatic oh poor me tactics and whiny internal dialogue. Kiera is a vapid, immature, self-absorbed character who somehow grows a backbone at the end of the story after spending chapter after chapter in a wishy-washy self dialogue of mean girl vs true self. Shane, Kiera’s love interest, is a weakly written underdeveloped dolt who despite godlike looks and supposed maturity from life experience as a widow falls for teen-angst filled Kiera. If you like whiny, vapid, teenybopper melodramatics read this book, but if you are looking for a story about the majesty of Ireland and the beauty of unexpected love with depth and maturity look elsewhere.

Hope. I could not put this one down! Great love story for today’s career oriented 20-somethings. You have to search, but true love is real.

Pat from Connecticut

A Page Turner!. Once I started reading this novel I could not put it down. I fell in love with Kiera beginning on page one. Once she met Shane I felt as if they were a couple to be remembered. Can't wait for Book 2 in this series.

Love Like This. An interesting romance

Mindylou505

Page turner. Cute characters who captured my heart. Good pacing-story moved along. Curl up with a cup of tea and read straight through!

Feel Ireland. Sophie Love makes you feel like your experiencing all things Ireland. Her descriptions of the country side and small towns made me want to book a trip. Williams the matchmaker match for Kendra was not revealed until the end of the book but I loved his remark about when he originally made the match.

Too immature. Sorry, I couldn’t finish this book. She was too immature and he didn’t seem desirable at all.

Very amusing. Fond memories of Lissdoonvana

Ive never felt "love like this" for a novel in my existence. Warning : spoilers!! It's a soppy, yet funny story of a young writer that gets an exiting opportunity, to travel across the Atlantic, to do a piece on a festival of love in Ireland. Her boss wants her to produce a menacing product that completely debunks the whole festival, and the idea of love ,which the young woman thought would be easy due to her past experiences, and her current relationship problems. But from the day she gets to Ireland, she starts to feel her walls lower and crumble, as she experiences true love for the very first time. Overall lovely story, relatable characters and a soppy romance theme with a hint of back and forth banter from the modern world.
