WOW!!!!. Wow!! Lili Valente did not disappoint me in her new book Hot as Puck!! It was a sweet story I could identify with. Libby is a shy kindergarten teacher with a best friend that is a professional hockey player. Libby and Justin shared so much growing up next door to each other. Justin is a hot bad boy and when things get crazy in his life with women he always turns to Libby for help. Libby is always there for him but when Libby realizes she has failed miserably at dating she asks Justin for help to overcome her sexual issues. Well, they solve it alright!! I loved every word in this book and look forward to the next book in the series!

They became really good friends when Libby taught Justin how to crochet when he fell ill and needed something to pass his time. Years later... they are still the best of friends. Justin is now a successful NHL player and has his pick of woman. Relationships... he's had them, but when things get too serious he is ready to move on. Libby is a lonely, unexperienced kindergarten teacher. Her last serious relationship ended up dumping her and becoming a priest. So her self esteem and sexual inner goddess, non existent. I felt connected to them from the very start. It was refreshing to see both Libby and Justin's vulnerabilities and how they each complemented and completed the other. Like two broken hearts mending one another to make one. Well written Lili Valente, you keep awing me every time. I can't wait for Brendan and Laura's story in Sexy Motherpucker.

Lives up to it’s name!. Lili Valenti remains Rom Com royalty with this latest book which is aptly titled as it is most definitely hot as puck!! I really loved this book! Between the storyline, the laughter, the sexts, the sexy times, and just Justin & Libby, well you get the gist, I loved it all!!!! Justin is a super hot and sexy hockey player who get this, knits! Not only that but he poses on social media with his knitted items. Sometimes with just his knitted items, wink wink. He is an amazing player both on and off the ice. Libby is an adorable school teacher who does not have much experience with men, she is very innocent especially in Justin’s brand of off-ice activities. They have been friends for years though so she finally asks Justin to help her get some experience. Of course this arrangement goes so well that soon there is more than just a friends with benefits vibe happening and real feelings are involved. Will they go their separate ways once her lessons are finished? Or will they make a go as a real couple? You need to find out in this 5 star Rom Com from the amazing Lili Valenti.

Absolute Must Read!!! Great book. Hot As Puck is just WOW. So sexy, in your face funny, and the characters just leap off the pages for me. Libby is young, sweet, funny, so awkward, and so neurotic she drove me a little bit crazy as she decides to sign up for a sex ed course with none other than her sexy professional hockey player best friend Justin. Their assumptions about how the other person feels had me yelling at the book, you cannot read this book and not fall head over heels in love with them. Her characters have great human flaws, she drove me crazy and kept me laughing and enthralled the entire time. This is my second Lili Valente book I’ve read and she is my new addiction. I love the way she writes. She definitely deserves all five stars.

Hot As Puck. Funny, sensual and great characters! It didn’t only center on the hockey career, book focused on being a Kindergarten teacher as well. I liked that, usually it’s just mentioned in passing. The characters were relatable and at times, funny. I enjoyed this book.

Is it 'hot as puck'?. When anything has only good reviews you should be skeptical. 😒 Libby & Justin has been friends forever but the words from some outsider make her question him (but not directly of course)nice friendship. I'm just not feeling this author anymore. The plots reel me in & then it's corny, cheesy, schmaltzy bs. It's a way to pass the time & that's about it 💆🏻

Review: Hot As Puck. Hot as Puck by Lili Valente is the first new standalone in her new collection of hockey stories. This book focuses on the friends-to-lovers story of Justin and Libby. Justin the hot as sin hockey player and Libby the innocent kindergarten teacher. Two friends who have known each other AND been best friends since 7th grade, these two are clueless about the passion they have for each other until the exact moment they're not. It is like an awesome meet-cute when they've already met. Minimal on drama and angst but with enough tension to keep it VERY interesting, this story is romantic, sweet, steamy, and heart-warming. Well-written and well-paced. I absolutely love when my must-read authors keep on proving exactly why I love them so hard! Enjoy!

Hot as puck. I’m not a sports fan at all but it seems like all the hockey romances are hot. I haven’t read a bad one. This one is where Justin and Libby are friends who become lovers romance. It is sweet romance with humor and steamy love scenes. Definitely an enjoyable book.

Good but feel like an element is missing. I enjoyed this but I feel like the feelings part on either side was rather sudden and her feelings for him wasn’t as fully explored as his feelings for her in the end especially with her lack of experience, otherwise it was good read. I found myself very interested in what happens next.

Pucking Hot !. Really loved the chemistry between these two characters Steamy spicy and funny as well! This book really has surprised me . Put in my pile of repeat reading list of books . Pucking love it !

satisfactory. I really enjoyed the book. Sadly, there were a few times I didn’t enjoy. Like the political garbage being thrown in. Personally when reading a romance I like to focus on the romance not on gun violence and what the country is going to do about it. However the book didn’t have much of the political crap to make me dislike it. Just enough to be annoying while reading it

A Must Read. Justin is a hot, sexy hockey forward with a reputation as a lady killer. It’s not that he’s bad at relationships, he’s just not good with anything more than short term. His best friend, Libby, is a kindergarten teacher who loves baggy clothes because comfort for the win. So when she shows up at Justin’s Birthday party in skin tight clothes, he can’t stop thinking about how sexy she is. Then she propositions him for no-strings attached sex lessons. What more could a guy want? Of course it can’t be that simple and feelings get involved like always, since there is no such thing as no strings attached. Can Justin prove to Libby that she should be with him? Lili Valente is the queen of sexy romantic comedies. Hot as Puck had me laughing out loud at times. Of course there are super steamy parts as well that are sizzling hot! I really enjoyed this book and didn’t want it to end. Although that is becoming the trend whenever I read anything by Mrs Valente. I’d highly recommend this book to anyone who likes romantic comedies, hockey, sexy heros, and/or sweet heroines.

Libby Collins and her older sister Laura lived next door to Justin as children and she has been friends with Justin since she spent months teaching him how to crochet when he was homebound with mono. Libby had to be home schooled until the ninth grade due to a severe stuttering problem, which also caused her to be extremely shy and introverted. After seeing Sylvia storm out of Justin's birthday party, she decides to ask her best friend for a favor—to teach her about sex and flirting with guys. This is such a sweet and innocent love story that both Justin and Libby will learn from. I thoroughly enjoyed the banter between these two characters and how they learned so much about each other, even though they already knew things about each other that a lot of other people couldn't know. And the honesty they kept front and center in their relationship was awe inspiring. This author knows how to give you all the 'feels' that you want in a couple. 5 Stars just not enough. Fantastic romantic comedy!. Well the queen of sexy romantic comedies has totally outdone herself once again. Often times as I read one of Lili Valente's novels I think to myself “she won't be able to top it,” and then she gives us Hot As Puck which left me completely overwhelmed and full of contentment. In Ms. Valente’s usual style, has delivered a fun and entertaining story which is brimming with laugh out loud moments and replete with steamy, hot and sexy romance as well. Justin and Libby have been best friends for years sharing a platonic connection through family and, well, crocheting. But when Libby decides she is tired of her failed attempts at dating, she knows that Justin is her answer, determined that he is the only one who can help her transform from a sweet kindergarten teacher to a sexual goddess. Although hesitant to cross that line with Libby, Justin reluctantly consents to be her teacher, both agreeing they will not let it affect their best friend status. But as the lesson begins it sets both of their libidos aflame and they suddenly realize that their bond extends far beyond mere friendship. But both Justin and Libby are afraid to tell the other how deeply and quickly their emotions are growing for fear of hurting the relationship they already share, especially if Libby’s sister ever finds out what they’ve been up to. Will Justin and Libby be able to find the courage to share their true feelings for each other before it’s too late? Well I fell hard and fast for Libby and Justin. Their bantering through texting as well as their face to face interactions made me giggle. Even now as I’m writing this review I have a smile on my face as I think back on their story. Not to mention the oh-so-hot and sweltering escapades they share together on the couch, in the bedroom and pretty much everywhere else. Their connection to one another goes so much farther than friendship, and it was so much fun reading this book and watching them both discover how deep their bond truly goes. I’m hoping we get a chance to revisit Justin and Libby with future stories as the support characters were just as fun to spend time with. Lili Valente has definitely scored many, many goals with Hot As Puck and has certainly earned a solid five stars, though honestly it deserves many more.

Hot as Puck. This was a good story. The characters were well written and fun. The steamy parts were so much fun as was the crocheting parts. I would highly recommend this book and the rest of the series.

So sweet and goofy. I loved this book! Justin is so sweet and goofy, it’s a really refreshing change. A hot hockey player who also crochets and ain’t ashamed or attempts to hide it? Love!! The way the author writes is something I haven’t seen before. The descriptions of feelings and emotions are new and outrageous. On top of it all, the chemistry is hot! I recommend this book if you are into hockey romance but want something a bit more unique and quirky. You’ll be guaranteed a few laughs! Book can be read as standalone.

Two chapter read. What started as a good read, I was sadly disappointed to realise that I was only able to read the first 2 chapters after downloading the entire book. Would of like to continue reading to possibly give more stars!!!
