The Bequest. Absolutely one of the best books I have read. The characters were so real and imperfect that I felt like I knew them. The plot kept me turning the pages and finally the writing was just amazing.

The Bequest. Oh my gosh!! This book was fascinating and the hits just kept on coming. Rafe—what a special child who had endured so much the first 10 years of his life to still have such a wonderful spirit and soul. Cheyenne and Will were perfect together and a force to be reckoned with, each teaching one another to trust and believe they deserved something better. I enjoyed every page of this book and the perfect HEA at the end.

Wow!. The writing is magnificent and the hate/love/hero/strong willed/love story is great! Double-crosses, CIA, military hunky men, strong amazing woman and broken spirits made this story amazing. It has a hot HEA and all the twists explained with shocking surprises. Must read!

Loved this book. Fast paced page turner that’s hard to put down. Loved Rafe, Will, and Cheyanne. The plot of this book will quickly draw you into their lives and the adventures they have to stay alive. Great book !

Awesome. This was a really good book. I enjoyed it very much, it was not boring and had some amazing characters.

Excellent writing. I’ve devoured two of Hope Anika’s novels in the last two days. She writes emotions the way abstract artists paint them, fluidly, breaking all the rules, but still conveying them perfectly. Here’s an excerpt: “Black and white—that was how his world had reshaped itself. Right and wrong. Life and death. But with her had come color. Heat. Temptation. When he’d assumed himself immune. Hollow, an empty tomb gilded in ice. Vengeance had become his sole definition; his only fantasies embodied screams and pleas and blood that ran thick and black” It’s what this author does best, and she’s as good as it comes. Her plots are suspense and action with a relationship at the center, and her characters are solid and complex, which fits with her gift for painting emotions. Overall, she’s a writer to savor and watch. She’s going places.

Couldn’t put it down!. One of the best reads in a very long time. Characters were engaging and real and I felt was right there with them. Found myself holding my breath in a few places which is a rare feat! Quick paced story line had me guessing until the end. Will read many more by this author!

Action Packed. This book was awesome! I really enjoyed the plot twists- the beginning was a little hard to follow but so worth it because this was a fantastic read.

5 stars!. Such a good read, it keeps you going until the very end! It is hard to imagine rooting for such unlikable characters, especially Cheyenne. But it doesn’t take long to be drawn in to the tight web of Cheyenne, Will, and Rafe as they work to stay safe from hidden enemies. I loved it!

Ok. The story was good but it was unnecessarily long and drawn out. The actual plot would have been half of the book. Too much anger and hate for most of the book which made me not like the characters, except Rafe. I found myself wanting to give up many times but did a lot of skipping instead.

Bequest. Great plot! I enjoyed the book and will probably get the next one.
