Million Little Things. Great story of 3 women dealing with making changes to their lives. Zoe is moving forward when a life changing event happens and makes her question everything. Jen is obsessed with her baby but some tough words make her realize some changes need to be made. And Pam,having to learn about acceptance and new possibilities. Three very interesting characters with depth and vulnerability. A great read!

A Million Little Things by Susan Mallery A book that tells about friendship. parenting. and finding out you are pregnant and how it affects you and your family and friends. Zoe has finally realized the boyfriend she had invested 5 years of her life with just isn't the man for her. breaks up and starts dating Steven, who is Pam's son. Zoe finds out she is pregnant with her ex boyfriends baby, she talks with Steven and they decide to keep dating and fall in love. Pam is a widow who loves her children. she has finally started dating after her husband died suddenly, she is dating Miguel who is Zoe's dad, she reacts badly to Zoe finding out she is pregnant by her former boyfriend. and Jen who is a new mom making lots of mistakes, but learns from them through help by Lucas which is her husbands partner on the police force. I really enjoyed reading this book and seeing how the characters developed. it was a great book. I recommend it to anyone looking for a book, it is a good romance that has complex characters. I really love Susan Mallery's writing style. (review crew)

Another hit in the Mischief Bay series. I love the story. We find a whole new side of Pamela who finds the perfect girl for her son Steven. Zoe is the best friend of her daughter Jen, A mother to Jack who is outgoing, sweet, yet not talking at the age of two. Zoe's father Miguel sets his sights on Pam! It is touching and heart breaking at times as we watch each person go through their own struggles. But in the end, love, friendship, and family brings everyone together. Run, don't walk, to your nearest store to buy your copy of A Million Little Things! You will fall in love with Mischief Bay all over again.

Strong Women's Friendships. I know exactly what I’m going to get when I pick up a Susan Mallery Mischief Bay novel: strong women’s friendships and a story that will make me think. The lasts, A Million Little Things, is no different. It brings us back to Pam from book one, focuses more on her daughter Jen, and surprises us with a whole new character in Zoe. At its core it examines mothers and how even when their children are grown they are still mother’s and want what’s best. It is also about letting our children go so they can find their own way in the world and make their own mistakes. Imbued with Mallery’s trademark humor and wit this book will quickly draw readers in. I admit to missing Nichole and Gabby from previous novels; I really wanted to know how they were both doing. I guess I’ll have to wait until next year and my annual visit to Mischief Bay. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this novel.

A great tale of friendships and love. I love reading Susan Mallery's stories because they contain it all: love, friendships, real life. What mother hasn't obsessed about their child at one point or another? In this book you see that happen at different levels: a parent and small child, a parent and an adult child. Life has struggles and Susan tells a compelling tale including those struggles, she writes things we can all relate to at some point.

Wonderful story of love and friendship. A Million Little Things takes us back to Mischief Bay, CA. We get catch up Pam and her daughter Jen, and we meet Jen's friend Zoe. All three of these women are facing new issues in their lives. We join these three as they deal with love, family, careers, and friendship. Will they make it through to the other end by helping each other and reaching inside themselves? This is a great story full of love, humor, joy, sadness and most importantly friendship. You do not need to have read past Mischief Bay books to enjoy this book, Mallery gives enough background for a new reader to jump right in. I loved this book and had a really hard time putting it down. Fans of Mallery's work will will love this as well. Please do note I was given a free copy of this book for an honest review.

Hilarious. Heartwarming. Insightful.. Susan has written a book with some of the best snappy dialogue I've ever read. I laughed for nearly ten minutes at Shannon and Pam's lunch. HA! Steven and Zoe have such great times, too. Loved them!! All those comebacks you wished you could think of at the time are here in this book. The plots and connections are very intricate between the women, such that you wondered how it was all going to turn out in the end. We know there's going to be an HEA, but it's going to be tough to get where we want them to be. There were several plots twists I didn't see coming. We remember Pam from the last book in the Mischief Bay series and our heart broke for her. I loved seeing her get back on her feet again. And this time she meets Miguel. Oh my! I see the Dos Equis guy every time he's on the page. Steven was wonderful, as was Kirk. The men in this book complemented the women very well. But the main point of this book was the women and their friendship. I'd swear I knew each of these women at some point in my life. I cheered for them, wanted to smack them (at times), and loved each of them for the strength and love for each other and their families. I read a lot and many times characters simply mesh together after a while. These characters stayed with me long after I finished the book. I love that! This is probably my favorite book in the Mischief Bay series!!

Warmhearted story.. I love the different stages of love & friendship Ms Mallory weaves in her stories and A Million Little Things did not let me down. Zoe's character at times made me laugh and cry! Strongly recommend this for anyone whether they've read the Girls of Mischief Bay or not. But if you haven't, you should!

Women's Constant Crossroads. Three women at three different crossroads in their lives. Family and friendships are challenged, expanded and utlimately the result is a new beautiful and realistic story by Susan Mallery. Very contemporary "A Million Little Things" happen everyday in our lives that change us, annoy us, reward us or simply prevent us from taking a moment to see how truly strong and wonderful we are, as women. This book explores women and the men in or around their ever evolving world. Our excuses and motivators are questioned in a very modern approach. In the end exploring mothers, sisters, lovers, and friends through our heroines, Zoe, Jen and Pam, motivates us to think, while being delightfully entertained in turning each page of this lovely story of three. The writing is clean and the images are crisp. The best part truly was the varied reactions from each on the same issues. So true to so many of our families and relationships. Each is valued and distinct. Emotions, reactions and words can unite us or divide us. Loved going on this journey with these ladies. Hope you do too!

A great book by a great author!!. A great book by a great author. I loved reading this book! I started it yesterday and finished it today. It was great! The books talks about real world problems that everyone has gone through or someone in their family has gone through. Susan Mallery knows how to write a great book. I have always been a romance reader and I was really skeptical about the Mischief Bay books because I would not really consider them romance but they really drew me in. All of the Mischief Bay books have been good and I look forward to more!

Beautiful story of friendship. I have loved the Mischief Bays series & this book does not disappoint. A Million Little Things is the 3rd in the series but can be read as a stand alone. This book follows the life events of 3 friends, Jen, Pam, & Zoe. Each are finding their own path & Susan Mallery does a fantastic job of making them fun, strong, sassy, & determined women.

Thoughtful, Compelling and Humorous. A Million Little Things is a captivating and heartwarming romantic fictional story. Pam, a fifty-something-year-old widow, was kicking herself after setting up her son with her daughter’s best friend, Zoe. Zoe, Pam discovered had a major complication in her life, and now Pam was afraid that her son Steven would become hurt because of it. Pam tried without success to break up her son’s relationship with Zoe. She was appalled that Steven, could choose Zoe over his own mother. If Pam were honest, though, she would have to admit that since her husband died, she had become a bit controlling. Pam was also at her wit's end regarding her daughter, Jen. Jen was obsessed with her toddler’s welfare. She was convinced that there was something wrong with him. And since Pam couldn’t seem to keep her thoughts to herself regarding the lives of her children, Steven and Jen, stopped talking to her. A Million Little Things has several perfectly interwoven plots. People are not always whom they first appear to be; sometimes they are even better. Jen found this out, first hand, when the man she had secretly despised, saved her husband’s life, and in actuality, her own as well. Lucas was a straightforward type of guy and told Jen without any sugar-coating, that she needed help. In the end, Jen was glad that he did. Zoe was re-inventing herself after wasting five years of her life on a good-for-nothing boyfriend. She was determined not to allow another person to control her life, and that included, Steven’s mother, Pam. Pam had some hard lessons to learn, one of them involved, moving on, and letting herself enjoy the company of another man, a man whom she had become quite fond of, Zoe’s father, Miguel. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this well-written book. It’s thought-provoking, compelling, and humorous. Many thanks to the publisher, and NetGalley, for my advanced review copy. I loved it.

A MILLION LITTLE THINGS by Susan Mallory. I loved this book by Susan Mallory. The characters were very believable and interacted with one another very well...as the story played out. The ending, for me, was too abrupt. I wish there was a sequel in the future, as I was left wanting as to how the lives of the characters were going to turn out in their future. The story held my interest throughout until the ending...which happened in the blink of an eye. Too fast a closure for a much enjoyed read. Susan Mallory’s style of writing is uniquely superb! I look forward to reading many more of her books.

Good Read with Many Surprises. I enjoyed the book. I realized I am the same age as Pam, but could relate to all the female characters. I thought I knew what would happen between the characters, but was surprised by the unexpected twists and turns. All these twists and turns in the storyline kept me involved and intrigued in the outcome and made me want to read faster, so i could see what was going to happen. I am sad that I finished. I am ready to move to Mischief Bay.
