Raina Sun Mysteries. I enjoyed the first of the three books, sort of liked the 2nd and was thoroughly confused with the 3rd. I still don’t understand the ending. I know Chinese families are big and complicated as I have Chinese friends so I’m taking all the blame for my misunderstanding.
Nice light read. Reference to underwear almost in every chapter....the actual word “underwear”
A nice cozy mystery. This set of 3 was a good read. There were some things that the editing missed to correct or make more clear, but it was good.

Raina Sun Mysteries, Books 1-3. The author has a tremendous sense of humor. I enjoyed reading about her grandma being a fun part of the series. Interesting to learn about Chinese culture a bit, too.

Enjoyable read. I loved the characters Raina and Po Po, the grandma. You never knew what Po Po had up her sleeve, or what her next ninja move was going to be. The story line kept me turning the pages to know what will happen next. I could not tell who the killer was till the end when it was revealed. Must read the next volume to find out about the journal...

Enjoyed this boxed set.... Interesting to read, when I would get confused... I just continued reading until it made sense. I am one that doesn’t believe in praying to dead ancestors... or receiving their help... don’t believe in ghosts, etc... but I find learning of different cultures... interesting and sometimes comical.
