Booty Call

Booty Call by Ainsley Booth Book Summary

Alison Dashford Reid wants three things for her twenty-first birthday: a trip to New York City, a break from her steeped-in-scandal family, and for her sister's much older bodyguard to take her virginity.

Scott Mayfair—ex-Navy SEAL, ex-spy—doesn't like losing control of his life. So when his accounts are locked after a dust up with the British Government, he doesn't turn to his family, of Mayfair Enterprises wealth. He gets a job running security…and Ali Reid twirls into his life.

She's lovely and light, pure goodness, and is hell bent on seducing him. His life is complicated to say the least. But when she texts him at four in the morning, he can't say no.

This is a standalone novel in a complete series. The other Forbidden Bodyguards books are: Hate F*@k, Dirty Love, Wicked Sin, and Filthy Liar.

Good story, Thank You

- A tugboat of feelings!5 star

I wanted to laugh, cry, and hide under the covers as I read the entire book in one night. If you are on the fence about reading this book, make like Humpty Dumpty and fall into it.

- Easy, quick read!4 star

Easy to follow and had a good baseline plot. The relationship between the main characters was strong and it showed in the words. I do wish there was more character development/back story for Ali and Scott. Overall, it was a quick easy read!

I don’t know what it was about this book but I just couldn’t get interested in it. I guess it could be the fact that I just couldn’t relate to Ali’s character. I really didn’t like her from the get go.

- Amazing5 star

Couldn’t put it down!!! Read it in less than two full days if it wasn’t because of work.

- Just ok3 star

Just felt lacking. It was just an ok book for me. Something that really bothered me was the main relationship hurdle that they had to overcome. Ali & Scott have a booty call relationship and that was entirely Ali's idea. She didn't want close & personal. Yet, despite their relationship being strictly sexual, she gets crazy jealous when she finds out Scott was previously engaged? They don't speak for months because he was engaged and didn't tell her? Really? I don't know why, but this being the will they/won't they survive this and fall madly in love & have a HEA moment of the book just irked me. I expected more.

- Oh, My!5 star

Scott and Ali's story is hot, sexy, and sometimes funny. Scott is definitely an alpha but Ali is more than capable of standing up to him. They agree to a booty call relationship but are each fighting that they want more.

- an incredibly breathtaking journey5 star

Booty Call is an incredibly breathtaking and mesmerizingly heart-stopping journey of two hurting people who find both balance and solace in each other. This story will have you checking your own pulse along the way because once you get into the heads of these characters, you will lose track of time, your heart, and at times your mind. This is not a neat little story that is easily packaged and cleaned up at the end. This is a full-tilt, in your face, not caring about perfection kind of journey that closely mirrors real life. Your heart will be a goner as soon as you open this beautiful book, so prepare to be completely taken over in the best way possible. This is something that will crawl into your very soul and open your eyes to things you never imagined. Scott is looking for something solid and stable. He is pretty set in his ways, and he doesn’t need his life turned upside down again. He has dealt with drama, and he is so over it. What he wants in his life right now and what he needs are two extremely different things. Dealing with Ali and her family is just a temporary job, so he is trying to keep his mind and himself from getting any more entangled with them then necessary. However, what his heart wants is something that is never convenient and never ever easy. He wants Ali, but she is the opposite of what he wants in his life, right? Trying to figure out what he wants only end him falling deeper into her rabbit hole. Can he figure out what he wants before he is left with nothing but his beating heart in his hands, or will Ali’s past beat him to the punch and send her running away from him screaming? Having no prior knowledge of these two, I was able to form my own opinion of them, and I found that they were a very unique pair that when it came down to the wire only worked perfectly with each other. They made no pretenses of who they were, but they had to fight for every inch of ground they laid claim to. It was the threat of losing everything they had fought so hard to gain that had them realizing that they needed to lay claim to the other’s heart in order to move forward and to win their ultimate prize of love and fulfillment. Ali and Scott were two very stunning and unforgettable characters that I enjoyed getting to know and watch open up to the other. Their journey was a true battle of the heart, and in the end, the heart scored an all-encompassing victory. Ainsley Booth is such an amazing author who writes with a fierce inner fire that won’t be quenched and is left burning in order to start a wild fire of passion and hope. We are the tinder that she can use to spread the dreams of her heart in order to show others that they too can reach for and claim their own aspirations. We are a being that requires a purpose and a method to accomplish that purpose. Once those pieces are in place, there is no limit to the goals that can be attained.

- Loved it5 star

It seriously doesn't get any hotter than this! I couldn't not put the book down. The steamiest and most sensual scenes, an older man and graduation co-Ed fall into what they think will be a great casual arrangement. But once again sparks fly and the pages light up with the heat. Can't wait to read more stories from the men of the Horus Group.

Sfhh1969 - “Booty call” (forbidden bodyguard 2) by Ainsley booth5 star

Normally I wouldn’t even consider reading a book that features a young girl (20) and older guy (14 years older) because .... eew! But I loved Ainsley Booth’s books “Hate F*@k” and “Personal Delivery” and so against my better judgement, I gave this book a try. The book was surprisingly amazingly good. I think what alleviates the “eewww gross” factor is that Scott is very much against sleeping with Ali because of the age factor. You get to know his character and personality and realize he’s not a dirty old man. 34 years old is hardly old man territory but in comparison to a naive, innocent 20 year old, it can be. In this book, it’s not. So I’m really glad I gave the story a chance.

Well written romance. Rich girl going to university staying under the radar. Her sister body guard...a much older man. Lol if you think 34 is old. She only 21 and a virgin to booth but she has the hots for him...

Yes I've been warned in the foul language and sexiness in this story. Definitely hot stuff to handle and missing a good plot at the end. Although it's expected, the ending is so romantic.

effinguselesstech - A Great Read would highly recommend5 star

I found this book free. Not read anything by this author before so I thought I’d give it a try. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED 😁😁😁 Well written with no errors or spelling mistakes, because so many books I’ve read lately are so poorly edited/checked and it ruins the experience. Definitely not the case with this one. Good characters and a decent story. Plenty of steamy scenes which were believable. Absolutely nothing to complain about. I think it links in with other books but was also a stand alone which I very much appreciated. I get fed up with a lot of authors not finishing a story ......, unless you by the other 500 books in the series which is slightly unfair to readers. GOOD BOOK, WELL WRITTEN, NO ERRORS SO I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
