Fun, fast read. The University of Georgia is NOT a Big Ten school. It has never been a Big Ten school. Georgia is a member of the beat conference in college football — the Southeastern Conference. This is a big deal. Other than that, it was a cute and read. This is the second Vi Keenland book I’ve read this week and I look forward to trying some more.

Great read for female football fans. I’ve read a few books by this author and this is one of my new favorites. Started on a Saturday afternoon and finished by Monday morning.... couldn’t put it down. I laughed, I cried, I got turned on... and probably every emotion in between. Very like-able characters. Definitely worth reading. I’m personally a football fan but even if you aren’t you would probably still really like this book.

The Baller. Delilah, a newly appointed sports journalist meets Brody, the star quarterback of the Steel, in the locker room and the fun begins. I totally enjoyed the sexy banter between Brody and Delilah. Their relationship grows steadily and they seem to really enjoy each other. Little insecurities and jealousies creep up on Delilah but, she manages to deflect them. Brody's relationship with Marlene, the woman who is like a mother to him, is so sweet and heartwarming. I love how he interacts with Grouper and the nurses at the nursing home. He is so much fun with them that it seems to help with the realities of aging. The return of Willow is a struggle for Delilah to deal with. Willow is Brody's first love and she is back in his life. Delilah's first love died in an accident several years earlier and Willow's re-appearance triggers some deep emotions. Brody and Delilah's story is a great read!

In love😍❤️. This book was was an amazing read, the story is so well written that it gets's your attention from the first page. I couldn't stop reading this book I finished it in one day, I felt I was going through all the emotions Delilah and Broody we're going through and the end was just perfect. It's a must read, really good book!!!

I couldn't put the book down. Get your ticket, sit yourself on the fifty yard line with drink in hand, and let the games begin, because your in for a heck of a show. Loved it.

Brody Easton..... Swoon worthy 😘. Loved this story. Brody and Delilah's story was totally captivating. I couldn't put it down. Loved the little funnies in the book when Brody would call grouper a flounder and his grandkids guppies. Also loved what a big influence Marlene was to Brody. And now every time I see an oatmeal raisin cookie I'll think of their relationship. This was an awesome read.

Awesome read. Let the games begin!! Brody Easton is a quarterback and Delilah Maddox is a sports reporter sent to interview him after a win,and what does this cocky arrogant man do? Well he drops the towel,and the game begins. This was funny,well written and the secondary characters added to the story.Vi Keeland never dissappoints and this was no exception.If you like sports stories you will love this so get it today!!

New. Brody was known for being a player. In more ways than one. When he met Delilah in the locker room, he horrified and excited her at the same time. Keeping her interest when she is trying to stay professional, is a whole new game. Delilah has to be taken seriously. In an almost exclusively male career, she wants to just be known for her own merits. When the hottest man in tight pants (or out of them) puts the moves on her, she finds herself wanting to say, "yes." This was an amazingly hot read. I loved these characters. I found them profoundly honest and it was refreshing. The heat level in this story was also turned up. Was a perfect summer read.

Brody and Delilah are great!. Sports books are some of my favorites, and this one didn't disappoint. I really like both Brody and Delilah. They're interactions with one another were quite entertaining. They both have obstacles that they have to overcome in order to love again and a lot of the book is their journey to get to that point. I liked the reporter storyline, but didn't always like the Willow storyline. I almost felt like having her perspective took away from Brody and Delilah's relationship. I would have rather had more from Brody's perspective. It sucked me in right away, but lost me just a little with all the Willow stuff. It picked back up towards the end and I really enjoyed it. The epilogue was really cute, I just wish it was longer.

The Baller.. definitely worth the read. It was, as usual for Vi, another great story... just love everything she writes .... starting my next book ... another Vi “Egomaniac “ I’ll be back! Thanks Vi!!

A must read!. Definitely one of my favorites of all Vi Keeland’s books. This is such a well written book with amazing characters and chemistry and funny and smart banters.

Great read. Steamy and a great plot. Love all the books. Literally read this in a day. Really like the charisma and personality of the hot quarterback. *spoiler - would have liked to read about his proposal. How he did it. Just because of the way he is would be interesting

Love me some Brody!. I always love a sports themed romance, and this one is a winner. Loved the sexy football star, with the filthy mouth and the huge heart. Loved the beautiful heroine whose love of the game, brought her all the men she has loved in her life. Both Brody and Delilah had relationships from their youth that helped to shape the way they approached each other and relationships in general. Both had painful past, that were dictating their present efforts toward love and commitment. The story took on a different flavor about half way through, and took the lighthearted, sexy banter and playful mood to become more serious and melancholy. Brody's past came back to play a prominent role in the here and now; he showed a level of maturity and insight that unfortunately Delilah could learn from. Some of the elements of the second half of the story weren't my favorites, but I loved the overall feel of the read, and the HEA in the end, made it all worthwhile. As always, I so enjoy the work of this author, and looking forward to more.

The Baller. I am new to Vi's books but after reading Egomaniac and The Baller I have become a big fan! Brody is the perfect drool worthy alpha male with a tender side. He has been through hell with a previous relationship so he is guarded about beginning a new relationship with Delilah. Delilah has relationship issues of her own. This is a very tender love story, with some hot sex thrown in, of these two working their way to each other. Such a good story so well written. Please read.

Ohhhh man. Easton is super hot and blunt!! D is right there with him the whole way. Vi knows people and can tell a story.

Loved It. She gets you wrapped up in the characters. It was hard to put this book down Another one I would love to see as a film or mini series. I’m definitely going to read this again!

Brody & Delilah…& Willow?. Loved this happy ending, would have loved it more without the 3rd character 1st person POV… if the author had followed up with a standalone featuring said 3rd character, I would have been all in!!!

Amazing read.. I absolutely fell in love with this book. Brody Easton just made a notch on my list of book boyfriends for sure. The writing was great, the chemistry was unbelievable, and the story line kept me on my toes. Brody was the normal cocky jock that Delilah thought he was. Boy, did he prove her wrong.
There were so many aw moments in this book along with some panty dropping moments in this book. It had all of the elements. I just can't say enough about this book and how much I enjoyed it. I'll definitely be looking out for more of Vi Keeland's work.

A little shallow but good. This was a a good read. It was the kind of read where I was sad to see myself reach the end of the pages. If it were a series I'd buy them all. The only thing I would mention constructively was there were a lot of things in the book that were told and not shown which left me feeling the plot was a little shallow. For instance, we were told about all the things she did for Easton to love her but weren't really shown her allure through his eyes...

Loved It. Thoroughly enjoyed the football star and his equally hot lady. They had some issues in the beginning; overall, they worked it and and had their HEA.❤️

Enjoyable. Overall a good book. Predictable and easy read. Not something that I'd be desperate to read again, but I liked the author's style and flow. I would probably check out more of her work. I gave this 4 stars because of a pretty obvious (and annoying, to me, for a paid book) error in the first few chapters. In chapter 1, the author says that security guard's daughter broke her arm, but then in chapter 3 it changes to her ankle and then at the end of the book it's back to her arm. Kind of a big miss from both the author & editor.
