Best Murder Mystery Series. Every book in the series has a plot twist you don't see coming. Characters are so relatable and the mystery is always present. A book series you won't be able to put down!!

Charaxa

Murder in the south of France. Characters not very believable

Senior1935

MURDER,IN THE SOUTH OF FRANCE. Compelling thriller

Easytalker49

Read with a GPS. Geographically intense murder mystery with narrow twists like the roads in France.

Bjs70

Murder in the South of France. The story line was interesting, but it moved really slow. I had a hard time finishing the book but I did finish it. It is not a book I would recommend reading.

Jlcatron

Murder in south of france. Loved the characters of this book. Enjoyed trying to figure out who killed Maggie’s sister. Loved that the story had a happy ending and it was entertaining to read.

NavyWife 75

Shutterbug1942

Murder in Southern France. Very good a lot of reading between chapters! I enjoyed it throughly but hated that I have to get another book to continue reading.... When I thought this was part of the first book!

Good read. Interesting characters, word building, not your usual storyline.

BellaOfTheShire

Murder in the South of France. Maggie Newberry flew to France to identify her estranged sister’s body. After doing so, she wrapped up some other details and returned home to Georgia to mourn with her parents. Then an unexpected phone call summons her back to France. When she realizes the French police have little interest in finding her sister’s murderer, she decides to play detective. Her French boyfriend doesn’t approve of her choice. He isn’t the only one. But how far will someone go to stop her from finding answers? Maggie’s search for answers intrigued me, but her relationship with Laurent seemed to distract her from her goals too easily. Not sure how this could build to a series. 4

Too cheesy. I wanted to love it but thought it just too far-fetched and cheesy, not to mention immature. I actually found myself being frustrated rather than entertained.

Daugherty61

Page turner. I couldn’t stop reading.

Isle of Butr

Didn’t get to page 100. I thought this was a romance/mystery. I guess it was bur when the girl makes love with a total stranger in the first 60 pages it is bit much. The story is very dangerous. Stranger in foreign country gives money to shady guy and then has sex with his friend that she just met a hour ago. Please tell me women have more brains that this!!!

Pins4

Murder In The South of France. Really enjoyed the book. All the pictures of France and the characters in the book. The happy ending and the solved murder. Can’t wait to finish reading the next book also.

Wschroeder

Murder in the South of France. Susan Kieran-Lewis hooked me into this delightfully crafted mystery in the first sentence. The plot was complicated enough to keep the reader guessing who the villain actually was.

Minnyfan04

Not worth the time. I couldn't believe or care about any of the characters. Every character felt more like a shallow and exaggerated caricature than a real person. This is basically a cheap romance novel fantasy with the connection to France as a gimmick. If you are looking for a mystery or crime fiction don't bother with this book.

Sometimers3

Under in the South of France. Wish I could control my weight gain as well as I can my curiosity for the next book. I didn’t buy it.

Murder in the South of France. I am reading Murder in the South of France. Chapter 40 needs a correct. In the beginning of the book Maggie is paying 30,000 Euros for her sister’s child in chapter 40 you say 300,000 Euros. Just thought you would want to know, it’s too huge of a difference to ignore. I read Murder in the Lavender and wish my friend gave me the start of the series first. I quite enjoy your writing. Thank you for your wonderfulness.

Wow,this book needs an edit.. The story is OKay, the writing is simple with a lot of repetition, and very poor editing. You won't believe how stupid this girl is, or how gullible, or deceitful to her parents when she is supposed to be assisting in solving a murder. She delivers 30 thousand euros to someone and on another page it's 300 thousand. The old boyfriend calls her in France to ask about the new boyfriend, new boyfriend ? He's some guy she slept with, the first time she met him,, she doesn't know anything about him, nor has she asked. She believes everything anyone tells her, jumps to conclusions, doesn't ask the right questions and just goes round and round in circles. I read another one of these first not realizing that there were more, the first one is no better, don't waste your time if you're looking for a good murder mystery.

North Star 32

Trying to get through it. There’s so much to love about this book and it’s protagonist, Maggie. But I just don’t know if I’m going to be able to finish it because the more I read the more irritating Maggie becomes. I’m not sure if this intentional or not. Maggie’s ignorance and naivety started out as endearing but is now quite grating. For example, her apparent non-comprehension about why the police wouldn’t keep someone in their custody even when there is no evidence tying that person to a crime. Or her pestering of the police and seemingly genuine confusion about why they aren’t giving her specific details regarding a homicide that is an active investigation. All this from a woman in her 30’s. Regardless of what country you hail from, or what your profession is, there are some things that an adult should be aware of. Unfortunately the more I read, the more Maggie seems to behave like a petulant, entitled teenager. I’m so disappointed because I really wanted to like this series but it’s just not believable at this point that Maggie could tie her own shoelaces let alone solve a mystery.

Murder in the south of france. Had to give up on this as the version on my iPad is different from that on my iPhone. Very confusing to have different characters popping up and others disappearing when switching devices. Not an easy read!
