Movie worthy. I absolutely loved the whole series! It was intriguing, thrilling and so well written! At first I didn't like how the book bounced between 4 characters but it all tied together and I became just as obsessed with Oren and Adalaide's story as I was with Nox and Charli's.

Loved It. I read the book in one day; that's how much I loved It. Gotta go get book 2 to find out what happens next.

Betrayal. What a wonderful, yet disquieting story and characters to show the resilience of the human spirit and the power of love. Sexy, heartwarming and thoroughly enjoyable read. The book itself can be read alone, but it does end in a bit of a cliffhanger since this is a series. I found the story so good that I bought the whole series off Amazon for about $10. Worth every penny, especially with the bonus ending chapters! Loved it!

Did Not Finish. I tried my best to enjoy this book but I just couldn’t get over how terrible it was. There were too many uneccessary characters that took away from the main ones. I was especially not impressed with the setting of the story and the way the author portrayed Jane. We are not in the 1600’s, not every maid or butler is uneducated or illiterate, that was just a little stereotypical and offensive to me. I did not feel a connection with any of the characters. Not sure if the author had intentions of making the main male character similar to Christian from FSOG but that was the vibe I was getting and it was not working for me. Also didn’t really care for the high society or alpha male feel from this book either. Can’t really wrap my head around why this book has such a high rating.

Awesome Book. I could not put Betrayal down!! From the first page I knew this was going to be an awesome book!! I love Aleatha Romig's writing!!! The story has a great flow, and is a must read!!! Looking forward to reading the series!!!!!

Read like a prequel for Infidelity. Betrayed is book 1 in the Infidelity series. This was a coming of age romantic suspense. Although I didn’t find it suspenseful. The main character in present time was twenty-three which doesn’t meet the definition of coming of age. Little snippets about her childhood weren’t enough to justify this meaning either. The story mentions college, but the main character had graduated from Stanford and was planning to attend Columbia so it wasn’t a new adult college story either. The story was executed using both present time and 6 weeks prior with Alex being the narrator of her story. The present included Alexandria’s obligations to her bloodlines. While the past was Alexandria’s way of cleansing herself before offering herself to the wolves. The main characters were Lennox and Alexandria. Lennox was a wealthy businessman. Alexandria was a recent Stanford graduate. Alex had some unfavorable qualities towards the male characters. Her stepfather was controlling and commanding and the way she handled him was unsavory. Nox was domineering and her behavior was a smitten kitten. With Bryce who was deceitful she allowed him to control the situation by manipulating others. The premise was a hard sell for me considering this is the twentieth century and this story was about 18th century expectations where men ruled and women obeyed. Bloodlines was high priority and with no men left to carry on this Montague name it was expected that Alexandria find a suitor capable of carrying the name. I kept expecting Alexandria to take control considering she had the name and the inheritance. I couldn’t understand how easily these women could hand over power and control to men. I wanted to see them take control. It was disappointing to see Adelaine allow Alton to use her daughter and Susanna allow Alton to coverup Bryce’s problems. For a woman who had intelligence and wit I had hoped to see her rip the rug out from under her parents authority and claim it for her own. I’m always skeptical of these instant romances between strangers who have a short time frame to get acquainted especially when characters intend to limit the time with no contact. I realize these tropes are ways to create a forbidden style of romance, but it’s harder to connect when the growth is limited to physical attraction. The story redeemed itself towards the end heading into an unexpected direction. Although it was an arduous process getting there. I do plan to read book 2 since I’m curious about Infidelity.

Great read. Plenty of plot twist to keep you entertained. Loved it and how it had a hint fo 50 shades to it

Twists and Turns. Totally enjoyed this book although I don’t generally read series. It’s well written with a touch of intrigue.

I'm hanging on!!!. Wow!! As much as I absolutely hate cliffhangers, I can tell you that this one will be well worth it!! Aleatha never let me down before, and I knew she wasn't going to let me down with this book. After reading, I must say that I loved it. Hence the 5 stars!!! I'm patiently waiting for January to find out where the story goes with Nox & Charli.

Great storyline. Aleatha knows how to spin a good yarn. I can't wait for the next part. The ending left me in suspense. The ending was a surprise. Not so much that it occurred, but how it occurred. Great set-up for the the next part of the story.

Aleatha's hottest book and my favorite so far!. I didn't think I could love Aleatha Romig's stories more than I already do, but I guess I was wrong. This book so different from the others she's written but still has all the hallmarks of her stories. A sin this book literally took away my breath and my heart is still pounding. Please be still my beating heart. I'm still riding on the emotional high I got from this book. Can we please fast forward to January so I can read the next part? I'm not even sure where to start. I didn't read the blurb going into the book, which was a great idea. I had no idea what to expect and it allowed the story to take control. I really liked Alexandria in all her forms, whether she called herself by her given name, Alex or Charli. I hated how confined and repressed she felt in the place where she should've been the safest. I watched as she yearned to be free of the bonds that held her back and I cheered as she found the strength to buck them. I loved her adventurous side and her determination to achieve her dreams. She's strong and I have a feeling she'll be successful at the challenges coming her way, and she's going to have plenty. I was as smitten with Nox as Charli was. The spark between them was white hot. I loved how they took it slow even though they didn't have lots of time and the chemistry between them was off the charts. I found myself hoping they'd be able to find something lasting beyond their one week together, but to find out if that happens, you're going to have to read the book to find out. I won't be spoiling anyone's reading experience. Nox was really a mystery in this book I look forward to finding out more about him in the upcoming books. This story is much more than Charli and Nox. There's this mystery about what's going on in Savannah and the reason behind the betrayal in Charli/Alex's life. I was just as devastated as Alex when she found out what had happened. I can't wait to find out they why. There's got to be something there with why her mother keeps stressing her heritage. I can't wait to find out what it is. I really enjoyed how the story went from the past and the present. I know a lot of readers don't like it, but it really helped me understand the multiple story arcs that were going on and how they all tied together. And for everyone who is worried about this book being about cheating, it's not. That's about as spoilery as I'll get. Aleatha Romig has written an amazing book. She's proven before how versatile her writing style is, but this is her hottest book yet, and my favorite. She's set the bar for this series quite high, and I'm so eager to see how she outdoes herself, again and again. Pick up this book and find out why everyone is raving about it!

Betrayal. This book is so stupid. She wants to break away from her family but she lets them continue to boss her around. She is a wimp; I couldn't finish this book. I was skipping from the start because she got on my nerves but I had to stop reading after the Bryce conversation.

Unexpected!. It kept me reading every minute I had to spare, but was a disappointing ending. I thought it was a stand alone book.

Hooked!. I found this to be a well written and a not so overwhelming detailed introduction of the characters involved with the Infidelity series. The author did an amazing job capturing and captivating my attention, which is not so easily accomplished. I have ADHD and almost never want to sit down. With this series, Im on the edge of my seat wanting more. Also, way better than fifty shades of grey (which i thought was a complete bore,) The only reason I gave Betrayal a 4* rating was because the second book had me even more intrigued and begging for more.

What the 'bleep' just happened?!?!?!. As I read this book, I thought about what I would write in my review... Would I write about the mind-blowing sex with Mr. Tall-Dark-And-Handsome? Or about the not so surprising betrayal from her so-called parents? Would I give a warning about how you absolutely should NOT read this story, UNLESS you wanted to be late for work due to the inability to tear your eyes away from the book? UNLESS you wanted to be sexually frustrated while at work because you couldn't resist reading "just one chapter" while on break? Well, now I've finished reading and all that I can think to say is... 'What the 'bleep' just happened?!?!?! My mind is spinning, my hands are shaking, and I am seriously contemplating smashing my reading device into teeny tiny pieces. Seriously though... What the 'bleep' just happened?!?!?!

Doing Too Much. It’s hard for me to follow the story because the book is alternating between present time and past time every other chapter. I kept reading thinking it would get better but i’m on chapter 13 and it continues to alternate between the two. I have decided to stop reading the book. It’s doing toooo much for me!

A fantastic read, although I did find the dialogue between friends was a bit stilted, could have been a bit sassier, but the storyline is catching and intriguing. And then the end is a clincher, have to read more....thank you for a well written gripping storyline.

Don’t read if you don’t want to pay £12.99 for the next book, or the next. I really enjoyed the story but £12.99 for the 2nd instalment? Then £12.99 for the 3rd and again for fourth and so on? When the books are also only 200 pages ish? I would of happily bought and read the 2nd instalment but I now have a sour taste in the mouth.

Amazing!. Absolutely fell in love with these characters! From the first book to the last this are my favourite books I’ve read. I have noticed some books play out the story and then have a quick ending but not these, they are fantastic! You really have to read them all!

Simply Brilliant. Betrayal is the first book in the Infidelity Series and I was given an arc for my honest review, it ends with a cliffhanger. I'm a big Consequence series fan so I'm familiar with Aleatha Romig work. As always it is full of plot twists and you're kept guessing until the last page. Betrayal is told in past and present time. Starting off six weeks earlier Alexandria(Alex) Collins taking a weeks holiday with her best friend Chelsea at an exclusive resort Del Mar. Where she reinvents herself as Charli. This is where she meets Nox and they agree on a week of passionate romance. Nox is confident, cocky, dominant,and a handsome man who knows what he wants and he wants Charli. The rules is they don't really know each other's lives outside Del Mar. You can feel the searing chemistry between them and it's hot. Meanwhile six weeks later sees Alex dealing with her family life at Montague Manor. Her family are not happy with her choice to attend Columbia Law in New York they want her to move back to Savannah and marry her childhood best friend Bryce with devasting circumstances, if she doesn't do as is asked of her. Alex is a fighter and doesn't take to being blackmailed into a life she doesn't want. Alex decides to venture to New York anyway with help from cousin, she plans on doing what she set out to do. This is where the cliffhanger comes in and now we are left patiently awaiting book 2 Cunning.
