Great read.. Interesting characters and storyline. Moving on to next 2 books in series.

I just cant. I should have heeded the other ratings. This is the second worst book I’ve ever read. Way too many story lines, cheesy dialog (ex: “you get me?”), and the sex wasn’t even engaging. Won’t read from this author again. ZERO stars if I could.👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

AngelaPassmore

Terrible. I read the whole book but it was very hard. The plot jumped around a lot, a lot of the dialogue was cheesy, and the characters repeated the same thoughts over and over again until I wanted to pull out my hair… 😒. Best selling author? I definitely will not be reading any more books by this author. If I could have given zero stars and still left a review I would have. Terrible 😣

Ink. Easy reading

Ok read. This book was just okay for me. I found myself skipping over a lot. I just couldn't get into it. There are just too many siblings and family to keep track of. I think it would have been a lot better if it focused on the two characters. But it goes back and forth between Sierra and Austin, then Shea and Shep. And there's other family drama thrown in there that I felt it took a lot of effort to keep up. So again it was just ok for me.

Seemore88

Needs proper classification. From reading the book's description, you can't tell that this is a D/s story. That was disappointing. The idea of this story had the potential to be good, but it just didn't work. I found myself skipping around the book to try to find something interesting. I couldn't, and I won't be purchasing other books in this series.

Kenner v

Good read. Excellent plot and very romantic. Very fast connection between the two characters. Five star read

Booklover115

Eh.. A lot of backstory detail made it hard to get into the actual book. The dialogue was the real killer though - so much of each conversation was awkwardly worded or just not what anyone would legitimately ever say. Couldn't focus on anything else and didn't finish the book.

Shanny bannany

Too many side stories. I like the story of Austin and Sierra, felt like it was a little rushed but overall played out well. There was just so many little side stories that truly didn't play into the main plot.

Gagal88

Delicate Ink Disappiontment. I wished I had known this story would revolve around the D/s relationship. I love an alpha mail but not into the BDSM relationship lifestyle. If that's your fantasy this may be for you but the story totally ruined any future purchases for me :(

All over. First not a fan of the this writing style- omniscient- I much prefer first person. Further there are so many characters introduced it was confusing. I get she wanted to set this book for others but too much. I liked Austin and Sierra but it was too diluted with side stories.

FrankieBGoode

Delicate Ink. I read some reviews that mentioned the 3rd person omniscient perspective and was a bit leery at first, but if you can get through the first chapter or so, which is admittedly clumsy and clunky without distinct breaks between characters, it does get better. The characters are distinct in thoughts and feelings otherwise as the set up for the series progresses, and seem realistic in their responses. The author does a decent job of foreshadowing for future books, as far as I can tell, and it seems that most complaints are typical of inexperience with a difficult perspective to write. I’m probably going to give the next book a shot and see how it goes.

Love it 😊. Great book I love it.

Amirra57

Love this series!. I am enjoying all of the Montgomery series and this one was cute as well! Gotta love Austin and this book was for sure interesting to say the least! Wasn’t too into the bdsm but it was interesting to read about.

Oh ya hhk

Awesome story. Love her books

TWhit42

Delicate ink. I didn't know this book involved the D/s scene when I started it. It really wasn't a big part of the story. More about finding a forever love. I liked the big family! Leads to more books with catch up scenarios from previous book characters. I have to be honest~ the cover needs to be changed. The guy on the cover had 1 tattoo and no beard. Lol That is so not Austin! Can't wait to read book 2!

Elizabethdlewis12

Great Read!. This series just gets better and better!

Katnisslookalike

Delicate Ink. I couldn't put this book down. It kept me interested and kept me on my feet.

Aedriftboy

Awesome!!!. Loved the story! Characters are awesome and the love story is great. Not a cliffhanger, has some twists, story keeps you engaged, definitely recommend!!!!

Britt22183000

Awesome read. This book was so good I loved it. It was not solely about the D/s relationship so it could be enjoyed by people who are interested in that or not, but there is an advantage to those who are. Great love story with lots of suspense and a great ending. Totally worth the time to read

Hatzombie

YES AUSTIN. Yes, OMG YES! Loved this steamy story! Couldn’t put it down till it was finished! On to the next. Hopefully it’s similar in style cause yeah, I loved it.

Jigglesbabay

Great. I loved this story.I couldn't stay away from it.I was sad that it had to come to an end.I wish there was a part 2 based on Austin and Sierra.

Mag68

Delicate ink. Great story! Absolutely a must read!

RomanceBookJunkie#2

All over the place.... There were too many characters in the book. Made it hard to keep track of each storyline. Only made it to about 250 pages in before I gave up. 👎🏽🤷🏽‍♀️

Amazing. This is the first book I have read by this author it was a amazing sweet and sexy read I can't wait to read the next book buy it you won't regret it !!

Elme_0212

Too fast-paced and hard to follow. I get what the author was trying to to here, but there are just too many characters to introduce and then she goes into their background. I would’ve preferred a book mainly focused on the main two. Because there are so many characters to write about, the main characters relationship is moving too quickly. Within her first time “sitting down” with the love interest, they go into deep conversation. That’s not really realistic and it doesn’t allow you to get attached to the characters individually.

Closet_reader

Okaaay wow. Who does not love an Alpha male you get me😉

ShantelleMac

I liked it. I enjoyed it but the relationships needed a little more depth for me to connect properly. It's probably just a personal preference thing 😊

N1ck1h

Delicate...Ink. Oh.. I want me a Montgomery! Loved it, loved it, loved it!

Enderbunny

Overwritten. Oh my I had such high hopes.... In one word it was a disaster...the author seemed to want to tell everyone's back story and with as many characters as this book has it soon became confusing...stick with the two people who are falling in love and the rest can have their own books....but every time a conclusion was on the horizon she would introduce a new complication...oh and I must say if you don't know anything about something please don't make it up, eg if an adult were to kneel in front of a 10yo, you wouldn't be looking into their eyes more like their ribs or chest... All I can say it where was the publisher, this could have been avoided if they were doing their job...

Blacksorrento

Excellent read. Loved this first book in the series. Anyone who has a connection with a large family will attune to the dynamics within this story. The author has that part pegged. The book flows and characters reactions are honest and realistic not just flowery prose which gets a big thumbs up from me! Be warned the language is explicit, it may not suit some people. Austin and Sierra's story was very well handled, large family, big issues and how they overcame their personal stumbling blocks. I enjoyed it, look forward to reading about other members of the Montgomery clan. Almost makes one wish they were a member !

Kellianne Pyke

Amazing. What a great book love the story behind these 2 can't wait to read more about the family :)

Carza17

Hot Ink. I loved the dynamic between Austin and Sierra I couldn't put the book down and can't wait to read the next one.

Notsavie

DNF. The story's a bit jumpy and left me feeling like I'd missed something so I'd have to go back and check again.

Thomas Terrific

Great story!. I really enjoyed this story - the two main characters are well-defined and interesting. The whole family dynamic makes me long for a family like the Montgomery family. Do they even exist? Will be buying more from this series.

AavidReader

Did not finish.. Too many points of views and it lost me. I wanted to like it but just couldn’t get into it.

Tarcey J

Delicate Ink. Great Read , great story, thankyou

SuLuCo

A sexy romp with a touch of drama.. Austin runs a tattoo parlour with his sister and meets a new business owner called Sienna. She seems a bit above his league at first but he soon realises that is a facade she wears, when she feels insecure. Sienna has a tragic history with a pair of vindictive people out to destroy her and Austin’s family is hit with a Cancer scare. Just as these obstacles seem to send the family reeling, Austin discovers a hidden secret in his past.

Zsdxcf67

Confused. I’m sorry but I couldn’t continue, I was too thrown off. I’m use to a book being centred around one couple with friends/family being supporting characters, this book seemed to have whole chapters dedicated to a different couple and kept throwing me off track.

Nlw68

Not bad. I did t mind this story but I didn't realise there were BDSM scenes, not that they were over the top. The author spends too much time on describing the little things that your mind can already fill in so it gets a little trying at times.. Also maybe just a few too many family members to keep track of...

:)mgjgj

Delicate Ink. Just finished reading this book and can't wait to read more in this series. Love Carrie Ann Ryan books.

Lindy Lou 454

Disappointing. Sorry, but this book was just not my thing and so I only got half way. I didn't realise from the blurb that it was bdsm but in fact that wasn't the issue as it was pretty light in the bit that I did read. The thing that really did it for me was that you would read a couple of chapters about the MCs and start to connect with them when you'd find that the next chapter was about completely different people/situations. I appreciate that it is part of a series and other characters will have their own book but they don't need to be ALL introduced in the first book. This book would have been better imo if some of those sections had been left out. Before I decided to give up on this book I did read reviews from other people to see if I was alone in these opinions and to see if it was going to get better. Alas, others agreed and if anything it sounded like it was going to get worse not better with even more subplots being introduced!

Arfb12

Good book but...... It's a really good book and the storyline is well thought out but the author forgets the name of the tattoo parlour on more than one occasion. She also forgets which one of the businesses is ink and which is inc. Very annoying stupid mistakes to make in your own book!

Redletter42

Good. Overall the book is good but there are a few continuity errors that simple proof reading could have helped

Ingclescat

Brilliant. Loved the story
